The low spinner. A popular short game shot on Tour today.

Former PGA Tour Player, Larry Rinker, shows you the low spinner with a lob wedge. This short game shot is popular on Tour with Jordan Spieth and Viktor Hovland.

A lot of players play Shots around the green with their sand wedges with a slightly open stance and Club face that’s what these rods mean but I really believe a lot of people when they use a sand wedge around the green they have a feel for how they take the club back in

Their full swing and they have a feel for the way they release it now me being upper core I let this club catch up and go buy my chest so I’m a guy that I like using bounce and I like feeling this kind of a release and the club going

Past my lead arm but there’s players on tour today playing the ball back and pulling turning and they’re hitting this low spinner with a lob wedge Jordan speed this is what Victor hain’s been doing so they play it way back open stance in club face and they hit this low

Spinner with their lob wedge so that might be a shot you can try but you don’t have a lot of bounce so you got to make sure you pull going through so you don’t stick it in the ground and you got to hit the ball first on this one too

It’s not really what I teach I like teaching throw but it might be a shot this low spinner is real popular on tour today
