Advance track and field so we have carbon technology foam technology this is a kind of iteration of foam technology advancing the sport of track and field so the Shakedown Elite this retails for $150 this is under Armor’s kind of 1600 M to 10K shoe so primarily 5K 10K but
You can drop down into the 8600 M with this you have a pelletized foam midsole this is the technology that is to produce kind of that responsive feel on the track so you’re getting quick turnover with the geometry of the shoe and you’re getting a responsive ride and rebound from the
Kind of pelletized foam I don’t know if you can actually see it there but you do have pelletized foam this is just another technology that shoe manufacturers are starting to use and experiment with in their shoes so not only does Under Armour use pelletized foam but uh saky also uses a version of
Their own proprietary pelletized foam so you’ll start to see that in more shoes in the future along with carbon accent so this may be just the first iteration of this shoe who knows in the future Under Armour may start dabin with carbon but for now they’re using a basically
Responsive foam in the midsole with a full PEX Spike plate so the spike plate similar to the uh what you see in the dragonfly the spike plate on this distance shoe will go from the front all the way to the back it has that great geometry to basically put you forward
And give you Max Energy return from the foam so six pins so generally most distance spikes will have that six pin configuration and then you have traction on both the forfoot and a kind of shark skin traction on the heel if you’re a heel tow Runner so this was kind of
Designed as kind of the uh alternative to the dragonfly for Under Armour athletes most under AR athletes were in the what was called the speed form Myer or Myer Pro this is the Myer Pro three so as you can see not a lot of uh foam or midsole in this shoe and different
