Struggled against these Iowa Fran mcaffrey teams and mean you know Steve pel’s kind of Mo Ruckers has been known for their defense they pack it in they wall off the paint they protect the rim really well um but teams that they struggle against or offenses that they
Struggle against are teams that can move the ball in the perimeter have great ball movement and can shoot over the top of them and that is kind of the um the skeleton of the Fran mcaffry and Iowa program so um he’s pel’s historically struggled with Iowa I think he’s lost
Three straight he’s maybe only beaten him twice during his whole tenure at Ruckers um Ruckers coming off a really tough battle against Ohio State on the road which I thought they could have won that game but Ohio State just shot lights out um it’s a kind of a let out
Spot for Ruckers I’ve seen this happen many times for this team um I’m I’m comfortable laying the points and I think Iowa wins comfortably here it’s an excellent point Ruckers 28% from three-point range 45% from inside the arc they don’t make free throws which is always tricky when you go on the road
Especially Iowa once to go up and down the floor and I would also say Mike that Clif amaru is not really developed as much as I think I would have liked him on the offense end I mean he’s such an impressive guy great worker great defender he gets into foul trouble

This you know packline um Tony Bennett defense is teams that have a lot of patience on on offense can move the ball really well and take good shots that is not what NC State does um and on the offensive side um I do think UVA could have some um success here against this
Um kind of um chaotic NC State Defense where you know they’re going to run their mover Brock blocker offense they’re going to take a lot of time on offense I don’t think the NC State Defense has enough discipline to to um stay consistent and and defend that
Really well um so I just like the stylistic matrick of of UVA coming in coming in playing really slow having a lot of patience um you know I don’t think DJ horn or Jaden Taylor have that kind of of discipline and uh I think they struggle against this more
Disciplined uh Virginia team he burns with a big post move to score the win for NC State I’ve not been a Kevin Keats guy this one is a stay away for me I could definitely see myself doing the old fate of Virginia getting burned on this one I agree with the matchup there

Good I know you have a play Mississippi State side and I have a lean there as well um but what I’ve noticed to start the season in a non-c confer is Mississippi State been trying to push push their Tempo a little more and against these weaker teams they’ve been
Trying to get out and run and and play much faster which I think has pushed their metrics up a little bit and over inflated them um we get now into SEC play you’re playing against a grinded out South Carolina team Mississippi state has no problem slowing it down and
Doing that they did it all last year now we have tolu Smith back who gives them even more Rim protection I thought this 136 number was a little too high I have this cap at the high 120s yeah in the last few games that South Carolina has
Won they’ve posted 68 73 72 70 points 94 but that was Florida a so definitely this is their first big test SEC opener makes sense to me uh we’ll touch this right now look I don’t normally like Texas Mike and you know last year of course it was a wonderful run for Texas
