Thunder the Gods like you ate too much Taco Bell spice all right so this is this is what we’re looking for we’re going to get some spicy t so we’re going to do it about some different teams some different players some different coaches so let’s start with the number one give
Me a spicy hot take on what what the future of Bill bellich looks like oh the future of Bill bellich all right um it’s not that spicy anymore to say he’d be the coach of the Chargers right that feels like the leader in the clubhouse in terms of results that we’re looking
For right yeah yeah yeah is that what is that what you think he ends up he’s the Chargers coach next year Well no I think he’s the Chargers coach of Jim Harbaugh doesn’t want the job because if you’re the Chargers and you’re weighing both options I think in my mind you would
Probably go the Harbaugh route because for them you’re trying to microwave results you’ve got a roster where you sign Justin Herbert to this long-term deal you’ve got your quarterback locked up and you’re basically spending every year trying to see if you can beat the injury Boogeyman and so in my mind you
Look at Jim Harbaugh who’s been the premier jump starter of programs during his coaching lifetime no matter where he’s been at and his ability to come in and Max imiz that quick Jim Harbaugh really since Andrew Luck has never been able to kind of get the quarterback
Position going the same way in a lot of places and so I think walking in with a readymade option there would to me make him the choice even though personality wise we know he presents difficulties over Bill bich where you’re going to come in you’re going to be largely
Miserable the whole idea is to simplify the process for everybody in terms of what they’ve got to do in the name of results but we saw the Patriot Way took a while to lay the foundation for it required one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time time there are
So many moving parts and you’re at the end of his tenure bill bich seems to be in this because he wants to pass the Don schula win record so I think if I was the Chargers I would probably try and throw money in front of Harbaugh and see
What happens but if not you could see bich being the choice so here’s the spicy hot take you just gave us like you walked into the spiciest of spicy hot takes you gave us that the Chargers should make Harbaugh they one and bellich they two in the
Coaching shirts like that is that is a wild hot take to me like I I hear everything you’re saying it makes total sense and you’ve really presented in a way that has me saying but I I I think at some point just the concept of Harbaugh over bellich feels a little
Dirty I my my bellich hot take is that he’s going to be back with the Patriots next year I like I think we’ve overblown this I I think at this point ever the cynic I have decided that we have we have all decided they’re going to move
On like at some point if at his next job he’s going to have to have a GM and I think that’s probably pretty real why wouldn’t he just take a GM where he is I think there’s a GM brought in that’s running player Personnel next year and
That person has more control and bellich takes a little bit less on his plate and continues to coach with the Patriots how’s that is that is that a hot take though that’s no that’s definitely spicy because I think at this point we’ve all been smelling smoke for so long we just
Assume the fire is Raging inside that building and everybody can’t wait to get out it seems like one of those situations where there’s just too much familiarity and we know so many of the decisions that get made by NFL front offices or NFL teams and organizations
Is and I forget if it was Kevin Clark or somebody said it’s really about winning a PR battle it’s about trying to sell hope to your fan base it was Bud Elliott at 247 Sports it’s trying to sell hope to your fan base hey don’t worry things
Are going to change so you’re going to want to come spend money with us you’re going to want to buy those season tickets all the things that we know were a part of the business model of this and I don’t know in New England how you
Could get the fan base that’s become a customer to eat in caviar to believe that now you’re going to come out with an equally tasty dish when it’s the same guy still in there even if he’s not buying the ingredients still cooking them in a way that just hasn’t looked
Right to everybody since Tom Brady left can I can I tell you one of the grossest things about Patriots fans just I’m gonna throw one of my bosses under the bus I won’t name my particular boss I was on a call the other day one of my bosses that’s a big Patriots fan
Actually said out loud have you guys ever heard of this site tanon like it tells you where everybody’s going to be in the NFL draft and I was looking at it and I was like you son of a biscuit how do you know you’ve lived life the other
Way just sitting not even knowing tanon exists when if you’re a Raiders fan by mid October you’re like Well we’d have the sixth pick right now let’s look at the schedule mathematically could get to the second pick I got a Patriots fan over here saying just found this new set

To learn all of these behaviors of traditionally malign fan base this Patriots fan like God I want to go to this game but I really don’t want people to know I’m there I’m afraid if one of my friends or family members see me on TV that they might judge me for being at

Christ I’m imagining like just because we came off Christmas Fred Claus you like the movie Fred Claus MJ Fred Claus is a great movie I don’t care what everybody says there’s a scene in Fred Claus where uh you’ve never seen Fred Claus okay there’s a scene where Fred is
Dealing with the emotion of being the brother to somebody particularly famous so he walks into a brother support group and it’s like you you’ve got all these it’s like Sylvester Stallone brother and one of the Baldwin’s brothers and like Clinton’s brother they’re all sitting in
This group and he walks in he’s like I’m Santa Claus’s brother and it’s like this whole thing I think there needs to be a support group where like one fan from every fan base that just knows what it’s like to watch your team suck every year
Sits there and this is the first time that somebody sits down in a chair and they’re like hey guys I’m Sam and everybody says Hi Sam and he says I’m a Patriots fan like I I think that’s what needs to happen here like we need a big support group for Patriots fans come
Like welcome Us in we’ll show you the traditions of sucker the problem is the support group for Patriots fans would be the rest of the AFC East that’s currently loving them being down they’d walk in and they get the absolute hell beaten out of them by a bunch of jets and Bills
Fans oh there’d be absolutely no sympathy and no help they’d be sabotaged by everybody else is like what you really need to do is paint the logo on your chest and make sure you walk in really chesty going into this guy like everybody will put them in a bad
Situation yeah the Bills fans will be like like you know what the key to getting your way out of this is light yourself on fire and jump through a table don’t worry it works no one’s ever gotten hurt doing that before in our tailgates you guys will be fine with
This oh God all right so let’s get another fiery hot take in I’m I’ll start this one off on Washington this is my fiery hot take about Washington I think Washington is going to hire some you know coordinator of some sort I don’t know who it’s going to be they’re going
To draft a quarterback and here’s where the fiery hot take comes in they’re going to change their name with a new ownership group this off season we’re going to find out that the commander chapter is already done because they realize the logo sucks the nickname sucks the team sucks nobody seems to
Like what’s going on the Washington commanders are going to become the Washington Hogs and they’ll get a whole new regime going in you go back to the football team man we don’t like I understand paying homage to the Hogs and all the things that that entails for
Them keep it simple baby you had the Washington football team we all looked around Washington football team like yesterday for example I went and tried um the Snickers Christmas tree shapes I had never had those before I went in with very guarded expectations and after my first bite I looked around and
Realized this actually kind of bangs that was the same way it was with the Washington football team we’re like oh this is stupid you’re just calling them what they are it’s like naming a cat kitty which I did as a kid I had a cat growing up named Kitty and it works and
We all looked around and we took a bite of the Washington football team and we said this is kind of delicious this yeah we love this and then when they went to the commanders we truly realized comparison was the thief of Joy it robbed us of the joys of being the
Football team so no I think they go back to the football team make it permanent okay a couple of things here why is it if you have a cat named kitty it’s adorable if I have a cat named Kitty there’s years of mockery coming in
If I come in and be like yeah my my cat was named Kitty you’re going to make fun of me forever you say your cat’s name fit and kitty and just cuz you’re big like everybody’s like oh that’s so adorable that Mike cat a cat named
Kitty yeah pretty much I mean it’s it’s it’s not my fault that you’re not built up enough physically to scare people you’ve done a great job working out and creating a you know a better health and fitness relationship for yourself but unfortunately you have not yet cultivated the mass necessary to just
Instantly Garner respect even when your cat’s named Kitty okay that’s fair uh follow-up question on the Snickers tree because as you well know uh Reese’s peanut butter cups are my favorite thing in the world they’re my favorite treat but we’ve had this debate before I do not like any alternate version of a
Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup because I love the exact ratio of the traditional peanut butter cup just the way it is I don’t want the big cups I don’t want the Christmas trees I don’t want the footballs I don’t want the Easter eggs I just want regular Reese’s Peanut Butter
Cups so knowing that I’m usually a little bit held back on ratio differences did the Snickers tree hold up the way it needed to from a ratio standpoint I’m really glad you terrified ratio ratio is what Jason Fitz said ratio issues that is what we’re talking
About here um uh Jason you would hate these then because as a traditionalist uh yeah you are not going to be built for this because in my mind the best part of the holiday shapes is the fact that you get an off-balance ratio you get what I call a thickening of the
Innards of whatever candy bar you’re talking about and with the Snickers holiday trees they made the innards thicker they removed a few peanuts or at least spread them out more so the crunch is less notable and you know how on the top of the Snickers they have for lack
Of a better term like the vein that goes there on the back they smooth that out the chocolate smoother so the whole experience is a lot more like what if Snickers made a cadberry Cream Egg than it is a traditional Snickers bar no okay so here’s the thing I’m not a massive
Fanatic of the traditional Snickers everything you’ve just just described sounds delightful to me I’m now going to go check out the Christmas trees although like do they still like what gas stations still have them is there like a shelf life on these things do they do they keep the Christmas trees
Out and then just put them in the back and then bring them back out next year do you think gas stations operate on a bit of tape delay you’re going to probably be able to get Christmas trees till Valentine’s Day there tape delay on a gas station okay
Uh let’s get a fiery hot take I’ll let you go first because I don’t even know what I can say without hurting myself uh a fiery hot take from my beloved Raiders uh any any anything standing out to you that’s going to be fiery this year I
Mean honestly the Fest hot take would be what if the Raiders went out and got Bill bich to come over there like they tried diet Patriots and getting Josh McDaniels there and so they just decided to go full boore and get Bill bich there instead of doing the obvious smart thing
And letting Antonio Pierce stay and be the head coach and then filling out an offensive staff underneath him because you’ve already got the leadership stuff checked off I would like it that would be my gift to the rest of the world is let’s get bill bich in the freaking Las Vegas Raiders
I mean if he’s going to do that does he hire Josh McDaniels as his offensive coordinator and then does Mar still have to pay him as the head coach I love I love the the layers the layers the layers I will give you one this is this
Is a real take for a second though I’m I’m I’m give you real responsible football for a second how do you like this Devonte Adams will not be traded and the reason I would say that Devonte Adams will not be traded is because as Charles Robinson and I have talked about
Several times on inside coverage you’re talking about a 30 plus year old wide receiver that cost a ton of money I hear a of fans say Well they’re going to trade Devonte for a first round pick there is no team in the NFL I believe that would give up a first round pick
Right now for Devonte Adams I don’t think his dra I can’t talk to an Insider that tells me his draft his draft compensation would be that high so if you’re the Raiders and you’re sitting there saying I’m gonna trade Devonte for a second or third rounder that seems
Dumb to me so all this talk about Devonte going anywhere is not going to happen Devonte will be back and he’ll be catching passes from some rookie quarterback next year yeah I’m trying to look at right now and see if I could chew horn him in somewhere that would
Make a little bit of sense here like the only one that would be kind of interesting to me because they obviously like Kansas City needs receiver but they also have Financial limitations and it’s not going to happen inside the division there Baltimore could be an interesting
One if they don’t close the deal with the Super Bowl this year since we know next year Odo Beckham Jr is going to be a free agent they’re still young in some of those spots with a flowers around there and they’re very much in win now mode considering where they’re at with
The team construction so that’d be interesting but you’re probably right in that that is provided though and I’d imagine he’s come out and spoken very highly of Antonio Pierce said he believes he should be the guy gave him the vot of confidence very publicly and we’ve seen tick off Devonte Adams has
Certainly been a part of what we’d imagine is a lot of the move to change around there he seemed pretty upset before Josh got fired and so whatever happens going forward it’s not saying he makes the decision but if you’re the Raiders and you do want to keep him long
Term and have that beum Baya he’s got to have some influence or at least give the okay to whoever ever the job ends up going to yeah I think Antonio Pierce comes back champ py comes back as his GM Devonte comes back as a wide receiver and some rookie quarterback gets the the
Glory of throwing to one of the best wide receivers in the league out of the gates look at that see we’re making all sorts of hay here all right let’s take a let’s take a spicy hot take on a team that’s still in the conversation give me
A spicy hot take of what we’re about to see for the Buffalo pills the the spicy hot take is less a take and more like the hilarious outcome that the Buffalo Bills could absolutely be sitting home watching the playoffs like the team that’s got the third best odds to win
The Super Bowl in most people’s estimation is two very real outcomes away from just getting to sit at home and watch this all play out but I don’t know what would you go with there Buffalo Buffalo’s a really interesting team going into next year in terms of
Needs like take STAR pass rusher in the draft do you go and try and get one of these quality wide receivers that the draft is so deep with to pair opposite Stefan Diggs considering Gabe Davis is kind of the Gabe Davis is to I I made this comparison the other day he is
LeBron James three-point shooting when it shows up consistently in a game basically over you’re not going to beat him like that but it’s few enough and far enough between to where you can’t consistently treat it as a part of the offense so I would probably say for them
Trying to go and hit big on one of the wide receivers would be huge because they’ve seem to always have been a second wide receiver away for a while now but see here’s where the spicy hot take comes in I’ll talk out of both sides of my mouth I just said that
Devonte won’t get traded for Stefan Diggs has made it clear he’s not happy everybody keeps talking I think the spicy hot take is that Stefan Diggs is not a Buffalo Bill by the time we hit next season and in the in the draft they’re not drafting a compliment to
They’re drafting a replacement for Stefan Diggs because they’re going to have a massive need a wide receiver like Josh Allen does not want to go into next year and then have it like the offensive game pan basically be roll the ball out and let Josh run around till he makes a
Play and by the way you don’t have Devonte to make that play to like I think that’s a spicy h Bills take I love I love that in this universe I can concoct a world where now the Buffalo Bills who drafted a tight end in the first round last year who obviously
Because the injuries to Dawson Knox couldn’t experiment with as much 12 Personnel slowly just start morphing into the 49ers where the formations get more condensed in lie of having Stefan Diggs they’re now mortgaging their future on tight ends and other guys that fit into this position football model
And round and round we go okay I’m going to give you a spicy hot that will hit near and dear to your heart you ready for this one this off seon Jason Kelce will retire because he’s got nothing left to accomplish and Travis Kelce will
Retire as well so that he can stay on the road with his new wife Taylor Swift how do you like that spicy hot I listen I actually don’t think this one is that far out of the realm of possibility either like in all of the Travis Kelce
Press that’s gone on recently this year and man have I enjoyed this um one of the ones that I thought one under talked about was him talking about the physical effect football’s taken on his body and how he has thought about the end of his career because of that we’ve seen this

That uh can I without any inside knowledge I’m not I’m not going to give any inside knowledge that I may or may not have about any of this I’m just going to give you a a Travis Kelsey tra Taylor Swift Theory all right I’m gonna
Give you a theory here now you you are a big Swifty and we all know that but you and I have both been lucky enough in our lives to be a part of some commercials right like you film a commercial and it gets to run on TV we’ve been lucky
Enough to get to do that you and I know as a result of that that commercials are rarely filmed a week away right like you film a commercial months in advance it’s edited there’s a budget all of these things happen and all of a sudden then the commercial comes out like when we
Did our cheese at work the Chey commercials were filmed what three months in advance four months in advance right you start thinking about what it takes to film a commercial I would simply say if you are a player that knows that you are in a relationship with somebody uh that that is wildly
Famous and you’ve been shooting some commercials and you’re thinking about maybe the end of your career coming up I don’t know maybe 68 months ago long before the SE season you’re already in a relationship let’s say with a very famous person let’s say that very famous
Person then is like hey why don’t we help you get some commercials and get your get your status raised why do we get you out there a little bit I’ll help introduce you to some people we’ll get your brand out there like I think the fact that we’ve seen so many Kelsey
Commercials on TV right now has proved positive that Taylor and Kelsey were an item months before and she helped decide this entire plan for him to grow his overall brand so that he could step away from football higher elevat into their relationship so while we discover Taylor
Swift this fall I think what we see from the minute we discover Swift and Kelce commercials are out people like well this is why I did it uhuh commercials don’t come out that fast which to me means they were a couple months and months and months ago and she’s helped
Orchestrate this entire thing Jason uh this comes merely a day after the New York Times put out an article about Travis Kelsey uh to business managers agents uh where the central thesis was these guys are helping him execute a vision to one day be the NFL’s version
Of Dwayne The Rock Johnson this guy who can grow into a larger than life character who finds his way onto the Silver Screen into more acting roles into things outside of just being a football player so I agree the timing of all this seems like a guy who could be
Getting ready for a Dismount yeah and it also seems like maybe he’s been in a relationship for a long time with one of the biggest media stars in the world that’s all I’m saying like I think think that I think maybe maybe in jet Trum we find out that Kelsey Swift was something
That started happening long before swifties ever realized it and one of the smarter marketing Minds in all of entertainment was like hey hey babe let me tell you how this works you know that just it’s my theory that’s hey you know what lucrative pillow talk some of the
Best Pillow Talk big fan of it yeah well so when you’re having lucrative Pillow Talk is they’re beard petting I’m just okay uh don’t coin there’s just coins falling out of the beard here that’s all it is oh my God uh all right back to the spicy hot takes
I’m gonna give you a spicy hot take Ryan tanah Hill is going to start somewhere next year in the NFL how do you like that even though tanah Hill is not going to be the starter for the Titans uh even though the Titans may not have any idea
What they’re doing at the quarterback position I’m not really sure will Lis is the guy and they better know they sure as hell better know that going into this draft because they’re going to be picking high enough that they’ll have a shot at another quarterback so what do
You do there but tanah Hill still got enough left in the tank and we’re in a world where we’re seeing some pretty Dreadful starting quarterbacks across the NFL somebody somewhere is going to get stuck with tanah Hill next year does Ryan tanah Hill have a better chance of
Starting for someone NE next year than Russell Wilson oh do I say yes to this because like it’s been made very clear right we know that Russ’s time is going to come to an end in Denver we see that playing out very ugly right now and so Russ isn’t
Going to cost you a lot of money next year like based on how this is going to work financially it seems like whatever is paid the bulk of it’s going to be paid by Denver you’re obviously not inheriting that contract because Denver is going to have to cut him if they want
To get out from under this and so you’d be able to get bargain Ben Russ but I asked this question the other day my dad and I’d ask it of you which team in the NFL right now lines up with Russell Wilson as their starting quarterback in
2024 and is excited about it I I don’t think the answer to that is anybody like I’ve seen people say oh the Raiders and Russ like we’ll go back to your point earlier I don’t think there’s a worse match in personalities than Russell Wilson and Antonio Pierce so I’m
Crossing that one off the list entirely like those two that doesn’t work at all for me Atlanta has to figure out something long term so I see all the people saying oh Russ heads to Atlanta I don’t think that makes any sense especially because you know another
Spicy outake we’ll get into Atlanta in a minute but you know I so then you start looking who else like who else fits with what Russ does and one of the problems is like you could say tanah Hill all day long has put bad tape out there in the
Playoffs I I acknowledge that and he’s had some questionable tape but Russ has put tape right now out of his inabilities like the the offense having to shift around what he does well I think that that’s there’s a recency bias to that so I don’t know who would be
Really out here saying oh my God we got Russ like I don’t think there’s an easy answer I would absolutely at this point still take Russ over Ryan tanah Hill I do think the Atlanta fit is a little better cuz remember like Arthur Smith I think there’s going to be a little bit
Of heat there next year this year was massively underwhelming you had one of the easiest schedules in the NFL you’ve got three homegrown top 10 picks playing skill positions at different spots around your offense in London pits uh and in that back and in that back field
