The EASIEST Way To Hit Driver Straight, It Works For Irons Too!!

I know for a fact this will fix your driver and your irons if you apply this correctly. It’s the key to being super consistent with your golf swing and must be used as part of your pre shot routine in golf, it is key! The best part about this drill is that is works for both irons and driver. The key focuses in the this video is how you set up with both your driver and irons, where you contact the golf ball (we all want to square the face), where to focus just before you hit the shot (this is super important) and then getting that prefect ball flight and even better this works for all golf clubs! When you do this really simple move you will hit more fairways, hit your driver longer, hit your irons longer, and more importantly the ball will flight high and straight and you will have much more control of your golf swing and ball flight. Your direction will be under control at last!

The EASIEST Way To Hit Driver Straight, It Works For Irons Too!!

A lot of golfers struggle to hit the driver consistently well because they have a hard time controlling the shaft in relation to the body, which I understand, this drill is all about giving you something to focus on, it will actually reduce your swing thoughts without even realising!

I’ve got a ridiculously good drill for you today that helps you with your driver and your irons too and we’re going to focus on where that chest has to be on the way down and I know you saw the thumbnail where I was looking it really does work now you’ve noticed I’ve

Got these in my hand these are the brand new Callaway Paradigm AI smoke now I just want to say thank you so much for all the support all the comments throughout 2023 and as a massive thank you for all your support I’m giving you a chance to win not just the driver but

The driver the fairywood and the hybrid so you can be kitted out for the 2024 season and at some point in this video I’m going to tell you exactly how you can get your hands on them look at that beauty now don’t worry you’ll be getting

Them all brand new not the one I’m hitting here so when people lose their Direction and The Distance breather swing in two over the top two inside and it becomes a massive recovery swing and a big fault of this is when we start our down swing the upper and lower

Moving together either over like this or like this now what I want you to train here as I say it works with your irons and your driver is that feeling of keeping your chest pointing back away from the ball as long as possible now a little bit of a reference point I would

Do here is just grab your head cover address the gold ball and just place it where it would be outside your right foot just here like this as a reference point I’m going to hit some away with it there so I can build some swing thoughts

And then we’ll take it away but the whole idea is is can we get the idea of when I come down pre-impact my chest is still pointing this way where to the point if I move my head into the middle of my chest I could look directly down

That head cover I’m not looking at it through my right eye not looking it through my left I want to get back to this position here where if I look down the middle of my chest I’m looking at that head cover okay so what this looks

Like and where you can train this is just a few slow reps so you can see if I did this the middle of my chest and if I looked up would be way over here if I went to this way the middle of my chest is to in this direction so really just

Trying to get the idea of middle of my chest I’m looking down at this head cover so out on the golf course this is what I’d really encourage you to do and a trick I’ve told all my students recently is I want you to address the golf ball

Normally but look to where the middle of your chest and the middle of your head is around 6 in back so you can see there I’m almost looking at that ball through my left eye not my right through my left to encourage that chest to stay back

Just a little bit of a trigger for you so let’s hit this one away watch how straight this one goes I honestly that sounded Mega as well I can’t hit a driver any better than that and my only focus point there was keep the middle of my chest pointing

Down that head cover as long as possible so I would hit maybe 10 15 away at the range with the head cover there take it away hit it away with that only swing thought in your mind it’ll stop you swinging over it’ll stop you getting stuck I promise you it will really work

Is this ball going so straight because of my drill or because it’s a brand new driver well let’s find out let’s now do this with your iron so we need a slightly different head position drive we want to hit up on which is why we can afford to look behind it also really

Helps that you know any golfer that comes to me makes that change straight away we get hitting up we also stop this movement together now there’s a difference here with your irons we don’t want to be looking six in behind we want to be looking 6 in in front and looking

At the ball through your right eye okay that is the difference because we still want the chest to stay behind the hips but we want to encourage a more downwards hip and often find that focus in front really does encourage you to do that think about this logically right if

I stood here look back here where am I going to hit if I look slightly in front I still want that chest to stay back as much as I can but I want that focus of hitting down the ball okay look how straight this one goes this is an

Absolute Gem of a drill this one of my favorites so make that change look it in front here still though I want to be in that position where if I looked my ched would be here okay we still want that but we’re offsetting it now to it down with

Irons yep I was right look how straight that is it is just an unbelievable drill so let’s get into how you can get your hands on these Beauties so it’s dead easy this is how you get involved subscribe to the channel turn on the bell and I know if you’ve turned on the

Bell or not and then just simply comment down below caway good luck and the winner will be announced here on the channel and it’ll be only me with a verified account that announces the winner

  1. Callaway- I never thought of my chest position at contact. Every tip you give seems to be very helpful. Thank you, and Happy New Year.

  2. Callaway! What is the best way to deal with driver hits being very consistently 'hooky'? Like I feel my shots can be in a 10 foot radius like 30 degrees left of center.
