Why do they even give Joy the time of day on this show, she wants to bring up team record and hang that on Russ' head when everyone is fully aware last year was NOT Russ' fault, there's a reason Hackett is no longer a Head Coach in the National Football League and even where he is now, with the Jets, their offense is viewed as a disaster. Who is Russ? Look at his individual numbers this season and that is who Russ is. He's the same quarterback who was approached by individuals from the Broncos organization, threatened to be benched, and still went out and won games after that, not for himself, but for the other men in that locker room.
You guys, Russell is done, look at the film. He's not seeing wide open receivers, plus he's being paid like a top 5 QB. He is not a type 5 qb, he's not top 15. Trust, Payton has a plan, but will it be successful…. we'll see.

With regards to Michael Penix Jr, he’s played the past two seasons injury free. I’m not saying he’s not prone to injuries, he plays football and everyone is prone to injury. But to basically call him fragile as Acho is suggesting is BS.

To be honest it's just Sean Peyton's ego that's part of the problem, he tried to get outta New Orleans and work a shadey deal with Miami after he knew he'd have to actually Coach when Brees retired. Now he's up in Denver and just watching the games most of the time it's just him getting out coached. They give up 24+pts a game and it's not like Russ has a ton of turnovers, that's on coaching. Like shady says it's not like Denver has a huge pool of talent on the team, especially on the offensive line.

Joy hits the nail on the head, as always. What the others are forgetting is that Russ is getting paid to play at Mahomes/Rodgers/Brady/Burrow level! The draft picks Denver gave up for him, the huge contract he received….that comes with very high expectations. You can argue he’s playing “ok,” but that’s not good enough.

This comment is about an old situation way back when but the Ravens and the Trent Dilfer ,issue now that was a disrespectful move. They didn’t even give the man an Option for the next season after helping the Ravens win a Super Bowl. That in my opinion is disrespectful. I’m torn between Russel and a team which I hate. Can’t stand the Broncos I do feel it’s a disrespectful situation because Russel isn’t some BS QB he’s won and made stats and Russel is an award winner and obviously plays well in the playoff. It’s one of those everyone arrives with a bad coaching team that didn’t know how to utilize their quarterback.

Speaking as a Niners fan myself, we used to play against Russ when he was in Seattle twice… and sometimes 3 times a year. And let me tell you.. Russ is a very special QB and a true difference maker. Payton/Wilson marriage was just a bad marriage from the start and it was never going to work.
