Unknown Speaker 0:00 Do you want an easy, easy drill to do at home   for you to understand your impact position? Come  on back! This is going to be something so simple,   you’re going to want to do it every day. Unknown Speaker 0:18

You know, on my YouTube channel, I’ve got a lot of  things about going indoors and using a doorway. To   get impact. Or putting your club against a wall  to get impact. All those are good. But let’s say

You’re out in the middle of the mall, and you  want to make a scene. What if you pretended to   have the club with you. And you put the club right  here in your pocket. And all you did was turn,

This is what it looked like. I’m gonna put this  in my pocket. And then I’m going to turn. Does   that not look like impact? That’s literally  all impact is. Is keeping your hands a little   closer to you. A little bit lower. Which is a  representative of hey, can I stick my hands in

My pocket? Now leaving everything there. Let  me just rotate forward into my front heel into   this front left heel. Unknown Speaker 1:11   That gets me to impact. What is this going to help  you with? First off sequencing. So many of you use

Your arms to get into that impact position.  Leaving lower body stagnant. This forces that   lower body to make that rotation to you can see  forward shaft lean. We’re artificially setting   it up here. And then as you rotate, you have no  other position to be in but forward shaft lean.

Number 3, rotating into that heel. I can’t tell  you how many times I work with clients who are up   on their toes and that prevents the rotation. The  only way you’re going to rotate in that position

Is to get to that back heel. 3 really key things  with a very simple, yet effective impact drill,   hands in the pocket, rotate forward. If you’ve  got a question about this drill or any of the

Drills on the channel, by all means leave them  below I’ll get to as many as I can as quick as   I can. Click the logo! Ring the bell, so you get  notified when we put more material on the channel.

By all means come on back as often as you can.  We want to help you improve your golf skills.
