Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk A CLOSER LOOK | Full Fight Highlights Analysis Head-to-Toe Breakdown!

Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk will be the biggest clash of heavyweight fighters since Mike Tyson vs Michael Spinks, in terms of the spoils on offer for the victor.

With Fury holding the WBC title and Usyk holding the WBO, IBF and WBA, a mega-fight between these two would be the first time all four belts were up for grabs in an Undisputed Heavyweight title fight.

After Usyk successfully defeated Anthony Joshua in their rematch last August, the Ukrainian called out Fury in his post-fight interview, saying “I’m sure that Tyson Fury is not retired yet. I’m sure, I’m convinced he wants to fight me. I want to fight him and if I’m not fighting Tyson Fury, I’m not fighting at all.”

Fury responded on Twitter, not just once either, however, the first post has since been deleted. In his response, he stated how poor the Joshua vs Usyk 2 fight was and how he could “annihilate both of them on the same night”.

Ever since Usyk’s last fight, there have been many conversations and interactions between both sides to make the fight happen. Even with Fury fighting and beating Derek Chisora in December 2022, the main goal has seemingly always been Fury vs Usyk.

Talks for the fight have stalled for now, however they are set to resume and hopefully the fight will still happen.

With the fight almost confirmed, we have decided to do a matchup between the two Heavyweights ahead of time. We’ll take a look at the tale of the tape for the two brutes, as well as speculate where and when the fight could happen based on the rumours circulating.

Fury has fought twice in 2022 compared to Usyk’s one bout. He first fought against Dillian Whyte in London, England. Then, after a short retirement, he fought Derek Chisora at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 3rd December 2022.

Fury’s fight with Chisora acted as more of a tune-up than anything. Chisora, who had also stated his retirement earlier in the year, was never able to properly attack the ‘Gypsy King’, and as such Fury dictated and dominated the fight.

With his victory, Fury retained his WBC, meaning that it will still be up for grabs in his fight against Usyk.

For Oleksandr Usyk, his last fight was a rematch against Anthony Joshua at King Abdullah Sports City, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on 20th August 2022.

This rematch came after Usyk beat Joshua in October 2021 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, in London, England, and thus took the WBA, WBO and IBF belts from Joshua.

Usyk beat AJ once more in Jeddah by a split decision, although it was a strong performance from the Ukrainian.

When the talks first happened earlier in 2022, Fury claimed he’d only come out of retirement for a £500 million purse, split 50/50 between the two fighters.

Since he first stated that, Fury has come out of retirement, and the factors that would have driven the fight up to that half-a-billion figure have fallen through.

The exact purse is unknown at this time. What is known is Fury will be getting a large amount after offering a 70/30 purse split in his favour, which Usyk accepted.

Previously, Usyk’s team had sent over offers of a 50/50 split and 60/40 to the winner, each rejected by Fury before he sent his own offer.

Where and when will the fight be held?
Fury’s US promoter Bob Arum previously spoke to Sky Sports about the fight, and when asked about the date and location, he revealed that they “are balancing a couple of significant offers from the Mid East and also there’s the possibility of doing the fight in the UK”.

When the £500 million purse was being thrown around, the Middle East seemed like the only option to accommodate that figure.

However, the proposed Saudi Arabia location fell through when the venue contractors said the stadium in which it was going to be held will not be ready by the proposed fight date.

This has now meant the fight has moved from a neutral location to one that suits Fury more, as it is reported that the fight will now happen in London, England.

When it’s all said and done, this fight, should it happen, will be immense. Two fantastic fighters, both who could walk away from the fight with everyone saying they are worthy champions.

For us though, we can only see one winner. And call us biased, but we believe Tyson Fury would be able to get the job done.

It will be a heavy fight, both fighters will go for it. But Fury has the advantage. He has the height and the reach on Usyk, and he can match him for his technical ability.

Usyk’s hopes will lie on his ability to get inside and close to Fury, because he won’t be able to match him if he stays outside and lets Fury dictate the fight – things that Usyk will be very aware of.

At the end of the day, we can see this one going the full length, with the result coming via a split-decision victory for Fury.

Traditional glamour Division and the bout is even more riveting because neither has lost in a professional ring Fury toppled long running champ Wladimir Klitschko in 2015 before a prolonged Hiatus due to personal issues and then returned for an likely vanquishing of Deontay Wilder across three fights two wins one draw from 2018 to

20121 he’s defended twice since completing the trilogy beating dillian white and Derek chisora into submission in a combined 16 rounds as for usyk he completed his own four belt dominance at cruiserweight in 2018 before rising to defeat Chaz Witherspoon technical knockout in round seven and chisora in a unanimous

Decision to earn the Joshua title try he’s 5-nil with two Knockouts at heavyweight after 16 straight wins with 12 koos before the jump the winner will become the division’s first Undisputed Champion since Lennox Lewis in 1999 usyk is hardly a small man at 6p3 and 220 or so pound but expect much of

The runup to this fight to suggest his path to Victory involves far more Nuance than savagery The Crafty Southpaw was worlds ahead of Joshua in spite of perceived disadvantages in height 3 in and weight 20 lb he was able to initiate exchanges and avoid replies with Superior hand

Speed and footwork using angles to bamboozle a fundamentally inferior Foe and ultimately securing a mental victory that preceded the official one he’ll face even more vast physical differences against Fury who stands 69 has weighed more than 260 lb for his last four fights and has a pterodactyl like 85 in

Reach Fury could use those Dimensions to stay on the perimeter behind a jab and make it almost untenable for usyk to get near him with meaningful punishment while raining down impactful combinations of his own or if he operates in a manner similar to his second fight with a six and S 231 lb

Wilder he could fight off the front foot step forward and look to bombard his smaller opponent without compunction either way it seems a difficult Road for usyk to travel Advantage Fury they’ve combined for 38 Kos in 54 professional victories nevertheless neither usyk nor Fury is lorded first and foremost for power but

That doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist usyk was never in one place long enough to receive powerful volleys from a bigger and presumably stronger Joshua but he wound up being the fighter closer to a stoppage Victory more often across their 24 rounds together his individual blows aren’t particularly devastating but he

Amplifies their impact with Superior precision and speed the effect was similar in the recent fight with Dubois who was similarly out of his element when it came to anything other than Brute Force ultimately usyk’s KO didn’t come from a single skull rattling blow as much as the boxing version of Death From

A Thousand Cuts Fury thanks to his gargantuan size and ill- ring temper can find success when he decides to be the bully in the ring his second fight with wilder was a remarkable example of big man brutality featuring a pair of knockdowns before the end came in round

Seven he can dump an opponent to the floor or with a single blow or batter that same rival into physical uselessness over multiple rounds which is again a significant obstacle to overcome Advantage fury it’s not a luxury for usyk to have good defense it’s a necessity given the size of the dogs

Whose yards he’s been invading since moving to heavyweight engaging in extended firefights is simply not an option and it won’t be any different with Fury given the height and weight discrepancies that’ll be in play Come fight night he simply must use footwork Instinct and Savvy to avoid fight

Defining shots if he’s to get the bout into a back half in which he may find an advantage due to his conditioning if he can elude big shots and frustrate the bigger man with stinging replies even better Fury has remarkable recuperative Powers as evidenced by the four times he

Climbed off the canvas across his Trilogy with wilder but when he’s not depending on those zombie-like Powers as a means to Victory he can also do a pretty good job Sid stepping major damage his size alone provides a certain level of insulation against foes who have to compromise their own defense

While trying to penetrate his and he’s also remarkably agile for a guy with his Dimensions leaving Wilder looking positively amateurish in spite of an Olympic pet degree bottom line Fury is hardly a defensive se but if usyk has an advantage it’s here Advantage usyk Fury’s X Factor will he

Take it seriously enough when it comes to his in ring activity Fury has been an exemplary Champion he’s never seemed in imminent danger of a loss in any of his five title fight victories and has never needed to lean on a charitable official to get him out of An Inconvenient

Jam but he’s also a pretty unique and unpredictable guy it’s sometimes difficult to gauge just how seriously he takes his job while he’s dabbling in the WWE or engaging windfall seeking C of Fighters and his suggestion that he’d just as soon be chasing about with Nano’s UFC successor Jon Jones at least

Ought to raise an eyebrow or two now that he’s matched with his most decorated in ring opposition it’ll probably be a nonissue but if Fury arrives in December and doesn’t seem prepared for what it’ll take to beat a foe as good as usyk remember where you read it first usk X

Factor can he perform on the biggest stage there’s no getting around it usyk’s got a big mountain to climb here not only is Fury vastly larger than anyone the Ukrainian has has ever encountered in a boxing ring he also possesses a Sublime skill set that would

Be a trial regardless of his size it’s one thing to stand across from guys like Joshua who’s big but raw or Dubois who can be kindly described as one-dimensional usyk’s toolbox alone puts him on level ground with those two but Fury is an entirely different animal

When it comes to Talent much of the debate about usyk’s chances for Success when he moved to heavyweight focused on the large men in the upper echelons of the division and while it’s true that he’s managed to handle the flatsome and jets some side of things ably enough Fury is

Different when he realizes the same tricks that foiled Joshua and Dubois don’t have the same impact on the unbeaten WBC champ it’ll be fascinating to see what usyk comes up with for Plan B so guys who do you have winning in this fight between Tyson Fury and Alexander usyk thanks for tuning in

Please like comment share and have a great Day Oh He Oh
