In this video we’re playing the 2024 Us open venue Piner number two this course is known to be one of the hardest courses that the US open’s ever been played on so hard that the last time they played here only three people broke par So based on that our

Goal here today is to just shoot under par which sounds a little bit crazy saying that but this course definitely has a lot of teeth to it you guys are going to see a lot of Carnage it’s going to be tough but I’m really EXC excited for this cool experience

Today all right dude I am so excited for today shout out Piner by the way cuz they have G they have really hooked it up for us Sean’s been kind of setting up this trip again Sean’s our our agents man it’s been really nice though it’s

Just this this whole town is just built for golf it seems like right it’s pretty cool man and we got perfect weather for it Sean has played Pine hers number two we’re looking at the North South Champion here yeah like 100 years ago so he has seen the course he has told me

That the course can kind of just beat you up in the face over and over again so I’m excited it’s a challenge I’m hoping it doesn’t beat me up in the face over and over again I hope we come out on top but yeah we’re just uh we’re

Waiting for our shuttle ready to go Min number two let’s Go so like I said our goal for the day is to break par but we’re also going to be playing a new game that we came up with called capture the flag basically our round will be split up into six three-hole matches if you win a match

You get a flag if we tie the three holes the following three holes will be worth two flags pineh her number two is known for their turtleback greens that make it really hard to keep it on the putting surface and the waste areas off the fairways make scoring even more

Challenging this is a big boy US Open course today let’s see what we can do all right hole number one out here par 4 I think it’s 402 I think we’re playing gold teas which is the back teas on every single hole I think except for hole three going to make that driveable

But that’s down the road this Fairway looks a little tight so I’m going to go three-wood or or hybrid here right bunker not the left bunker all right hopefully not going to get a taste of piner’s teeth right off the bat hey there Quan I got fivewood

I’m going to try to keep it about 15 20 yards right of that uh with fivewood hopefully kind of keep it in the grass before we run out into the waste area lots of hopes lots of hopes hopes hopes a great strategy yeah lots of hopes that’s awful be good

Well that’s why I feel like I hit K did did good things happen to good people man hey you’ve been going to church I guess so man jeez I’m not that good of a person I can’t get this out get that Capal In dude bad spot bad spot to be terrible swing on the first toll first nerves I have 200 flag I’m hitting five iron I’m just trying to slice the crap out of it if I hit it like I did on the previous shot I should be

Yard right to where you just hit it right between these white t markers I don’t know if you guys can even see that but this is a long par 4 and we want to get it in play follow me big draw guy that’s kind of a new one

Sit I saw a few bounces yeah few bounces that should be okay I think as long as you short that bunker I didn’t hit it well enough not as long as me and you both I told you is going to hit 5 wood into a par 4 today I have 248 stick I

Didn’t hit the drive great but I didn’t hit that bad either touching to the fan I’m ripping a fivewood and hopefully it’s better than the t-ball I hit on one holy sh sh Set set set set set set set set high ball but that was laced that was laced

Little bit I’m kind of in this I don’t know what to call this honestly but native area native area 220 flag I got 2011 to cover the front and I’m thinking just cuz of how firm and fast these greens are I just got to try to land on

The front let go with the five iron maybe hit it just like slightly lower oh c the bus get there like front is of the green but just left the green still haven’t hit a green yet it’s kind of hard too out here all right shaylor actually not too

Bad on the distance almost been high uh probably the correct Club but just off the green should going up the hill right to left and kind of straightens out I think after this big old mountain in front of me all right speed was good it’s a little too far right holy grain man

We’re in it now all right Quan hit a pretty good one he’s got a good looking par there I mean with this Capture the Flag format I’m already down one I can’t afford to really go down another so got to get this one up and down or at least give it a

Green into the previous holees te box so yeah let’s not go at the flag I’m going a little bit r at Britney 80 yards with a 60° getting the thumbs up thumbs up equals bir right 55° back of the staning a touch of a divot kind of but this is a

Pretty popular spot so nonetheless just want a birdie putt oh that might go to [Laughter] dude What just happened just cut to the next shot good one there really good jeez get me off this hole get me off this hole get me off this hole that was the weirdest part I’ve ever made in my life all right shaylor I’ve been told this is a fast putt it

Does look very fast it kind of looks shiny it’s like Dow grain as well so and it should be moving a little right to left need to Dy this one in got a bird we’re on the board let’s Go if you guys are serious about taking your game to the next level and you’re struggling taking your golf game from the driving range over to the golf course or even going for your home course to another course and struggling I genuinely think having a higher golf

IQ will really help you guys out with that I’ve said it many times before but up until college golf all I was playing was golf swing I was not playing golf I was told a lot of things by my coach on how to navigate through golf courses and

Kind of go through the correct thought process on the golf course all those things will be in my course management program here’s a little sneak peek of what you’ll find in that program right here if I slow down my thoughts here so I can just try to explain you know my

Thought process to I probably initially thought all right let’s hit my 170 Club about 155 which is the the raw yardage here but then you got to also think about all I’m taking off a pretty good amount of yardage if I were to hit that shot so what happens when you do that

Piece okay I’ve had enough two bogeys in a row I’ve just been playing like a wuss a little bit so I’m going to start committing hitting some better golf shots right here and I’m one down in this flag Frick oh boy what did I just

Say I gave my myself a pep talk and then just didn’t listen to myself this is not the place that you want to struggle with the ball strike ah I agree oh my lordy I’m going to hit a kind of a low cut I

Got 190 flag but 175 front and do not go long or left of this pin well really or right we really just want to keep short of flag um so I’m going to hit a forign and it’s going to cut around this tree hopefully and kind of low and then

Hopefully it doesn’t end up in a really bad spot stay left oh no oh no oh no oh no I hit it too hard it had the right shape on it I think if it was a little more left it would have been okay but it’s it’s not

Scary putt cuz this is a speed Putt and I think if I get it a little bit past Shawn’s ball it’s probably going to be rolling off the green it should be a pretty bad putt if I’m past Shawn so let’s try to get the speed right get a little tap

In go got to go got to go got to go got to go I will take that good putt I’ll give that one to you you’re good donkeys donkeys must make with this being the second hole in our third hole or in our three hole match here um I can’t afford

To fall two down especially going into a part three so I got to make it especially if hitting a good chip like that really want to make this one oh what a putt yep don’t ask me get that one up and down again only one down

Bunker shot as if you had like a perfect line that’s kind of the way I think I’m going to play this you just don’t want to hit it here but I think we can uh little ride of it from Ethan I think we can do this I think this is

Doable I can’t tell but it looks pretty good yeah I mean just the fact that the fact that I have a putt yeah from where you are yeah I mean I almost hit out of bounds on part three although to be fair I was counting on you know obviously the huge

Tournaments that I play the mini tour events always have grand stands along with the green so I was counting on banking it off of a grand stand oh my goodness I have got to land this thing short of the green let it do a little

Bump and run you guys know this is not my favorite kind of chip shot so go oh that was close 3 more ft and it would have like caught the down slope I honestly do not mind it there okay we’re okay okay this thing’s going to swing

The last 6 ft Kanan is a really tough putt too so I’m not totally convinced that he’s in for four even especially if I could make this that would be huge late Turner yeah just hit it a little bit too firm but I mean you hit

An iron shot like that you’re fine with par and by par I mean bogey brain’s not even working golf swing’s not working this is um breaking quite a lot like Sean said this is a this is a tough putt try to get out there get get the speed lined up

Right I was trying to trickle that barely to the hole dude all right shy this has got to drop this has got to drop should be like right Edge this course is hard but I will say these greens are freaking perfect on to the next one burtney gave me another

Twin SN so hopefully that means good things hold 10 how long do this hold 620 620 part five I’m hoping yeah part three it’s weird I have to confirm that but looks like it’s dead Straight oh my God there’s finally one hey if you kick left I’m going to kill you good job sir I finally hit a good one it was the gummies it was the gummies all right Shay shot three over I’m down two flags to one to Quan it’s a new nine though

Quan’s normally the new nine guy I want to be the new nine guy just like Quan hit it stupid how’s the bounce it might be okay in the Fairway I like that I like that smart play all right so I have 3,000 Ys to the hole laying up with a three-wood

That really never happens should have about 80 yards out after I do that right ready It Go beautiful Perfection thank you I’ll give him one for that thanks dude all right we apparently have like 330 Flags so that is out of the option I’m going

To hit a Hybrid let’s get it over that bunker that Sean did nice to should be fine it should be fine all right my ball did stay in the Fairway I got 70 yards to the flag Shay just walked up here said I have three yards

Past the flag and if I go three yards past that ball is gonzo so 65 maximum with a 60° it’s better than the alternative like I mean you go longer this green and you’re going to be lucky to make a six probably so I have 61 in the pin I’m going to try to hit a little lower try to land at about 5 Paces short 56 is the number I think I got my Swagger back is that what he says Y how terrible was that that was a good impr no that was really bad I feel like it was really bad but I know the fact that I said it it’s probably going to make it in there now
