It can be he’s over the top of it and then you’re going to see Debo Samuel who he’s looking back and as he looks back pie knows he can turn it loose and then throws it on his back shoulder and Samuel adjusts and makes the play it’s

Just you can’t defend it if you defend that then they’re taking the shot over the top first down inches inside the 38 this one is batted into the air and into the arms of Humphrey and it was Stevens who went up to knock [Applause] it and get the assist on the

Interception second and T night for the Ravens we just showed Stevens in coverage on that Samuel catch he’s played great all year and he’s the one that made this play yeah I mean he really has he’s been playing outside a corner he’s been all over the place he’s coming in they’re anticipating really

More run and he gets his hands on the ball the ball’s intercepted Humphrey was coming off the The Edge from the other side and just a bad break for Brock pie in this 49ers offense so [Applause] Humphrey has got the second of the night and the Ravens take over with good

Field position down by two they hand to Hill and Justice Hill gets a couple that’s it green law was out there with Lenor well the way this this game is shaping up when you look at it a 5-3 score that you know these defenses they’re just

Getting it done and you know I coming into the game you wonder exactly what it’s going to be like are we going to see some scoring as the defenses are they going to flex their muscle well here in this first half the defenses have both been able to make

Plays second down and eight Jackson keeps and he’s got [Applause] baitman good throw by Lamar Jackson the completion for 15 yds and the Ravens trying to turn that pick by Marlon Humphrey into go-ahead points yeah Lamar Jackson he’s essentially reading Fred Warner and when Fred Warner comes up

When he steps up then Lamar knows nobody is going to be underneath that slant throw and he’s able to get the ball to baitman and really good execution they like the Slants and they’re pretty good at throwing them here’s flowers Z flowers on first down with a nice game when you can run

The ball both teams can do it but when you can run the ball like that the play action just opens up so much in a defense and we’ve seen Lamar take advantage of it a couple of times on this possession yeah and both for both of these teams the play action opens up

Now they just go about it differently with Todd monin and the Ravens they run their play action at of shotgun whereas the 49ers most of their play action is from under Center but the results are the same they’re they’re effective they have an impact on the linebacker level

And they’re able to hit throws in behind it here’s flowers makes a man miss has a first down near the 20 he went around Brown Fred Warner is well in a gain of 11 and you can see the quickness and the great feed of Z flowers here oh yeah you

Think that’s any good I mean he gets the ball and there was so much space because jier Brown was was really soft and it just allows flowers then to use his moves and some of the quickness that he has pretty good example of it Jer Brown

Who was taken over for the All Pro hunga who tore his ACL five weeks ago here is Jackson and that is baitman looking up field before he made the catch that was a gimme that was dropped in it’s second and 10 it was Z flowers was working the middle of the field and

Based on the look and coverage I thought that’s where Lamar was going to go with the football and Z flowers he he just he couldn’t believe he didn’t get the ball when he came over the middle and then you’ve got the drop on the [Applause] outside Justice Hill in the back field

On second and 10 he gets it looking for a block picking his way near the 15 Warner makes that tackle All Pro a year ago and Fred Warner is the heart and soul of this defense third down and four coming up yeah I think he’s the best middle

Linebacker in football and there’s a lot of great players of course but he’s a pleasure to watch this is a big third down Baltimore has been able to make stops and this is going to be one of those games who’s able to come away with touchdowns in this area of the

Field it’s going to be six straight pass plays pass is caught for the first down Beckham Odell Beckham Jr who hasn’t been as involved in the offense he’s been nicked up with injuries gets a big first down there with a gain of five well how many times do you see receivers run

These routes and against Zone here he is and when they start to run their Crossing route they continue to run and they cover themselves up Beckham he immediately just shuts it down and gives Lamar Jackson a great Target play action and now it’s Warner up to knock it [Applause] down second

Down and goal well this is an area of the field where the 49ers defensively they don’t have to defend the Red Zone very often they have the fewest Red Zone possessions against them in the NFL but when teams do get down here they generally stop them opponents it’s about a 5050

Proposition scoring touchdowns at 52% second and goal Jackson pulls up throws and the pass incomplete for Beckham as he was defended by Amry Thomas it’s third [Applause] down see Jer Brown who I said took the place of talanoa huanga the All Pro from a year ago in his second year Jer Brown

Smile well they go with Ricard in the back field and there’s likely and likele is the one who gets just enough we talk about what he’s been able to do as a receiver he he gets just enough of Warner and then green law not able to fill it so pretty good execution and

Ricard he just let his guy go on purpose but to be able to score there on fourth down and finish off that drive in a very important game interc conference matchup the Ravens lead by five Baltimore trying to get to 12 and three and stay ahead of Miami but

Benz he you go back now and take a look at these two interceptions that Brock P has had this one’s just laate on the throw coming back as I mentioned on the third read Kyle Hamilton right there as a two deep safety and then sometimes you just get unlucky as a quarterback he’s

Trying to get the ball out quick he’s got the edge Blitz from Brandon Stevens and Baltimore just opportunistic with the deflection does a great job but right now you look at it they’ve been heavy throwing the football the 49ers have they’ve run the ball well

When they have run it you know do they come back and run the ball and see if they can’t settle Brock pie down just a little bit here is here is mcaffrey Cuts up field and he gets hit and hit hard into the arms of bradi Washington and a

Gain of two oh that’s played so well up front that is really good work and you just don’t you don’t see you don’t see Christian mcaffrey get hit like that very often as Travis Jones comes off the field but just an excellent job right there in the middle of making that play

So Travis J get nicked up on that play as well he was in there those are two massive human beings 3:15 for Washington 338 Travis Jones as Samuel out on the edge Hamilton can’t bring him down breaking tackles and he is short of the 30 a gain of

Three well that’s one of the real keys for this Baltimore’s Baltimore defense is can they limit the yards after catch because the the 49ers they lead the NFL and so much of of their offensive scheme is getting the ball into the hands of guys like Debo man Debo Samuel and

Brandon iuk and getting them the ability to run after the catch and so if they can make these tackles after they make the catch like they did right there they’re going to have a good night it’s third down and five up Blitz off the edge with Hamilton he gets

Picked up but they’re going to throw flag on that and P is spinning around there are two flags on the play this is another pick by [Applause] Hamilton batted up into the air by Marlon Humphrey and these two keep combining for interceptions but let’s check the flag personal foul chop block

Offense number 23 that 15yd penalty will be enforced after the interception first down Baltimore time time out so that is three interceptions tonight and the second of the night for Kyle Hamilton and the guy who has the other pick Marlon Humphrey was the one who knocked it into the Air here is the call against seen from Brock Pie as he makes his 20th career regular season start he is never had a three interception game as a pro his last one coming in in college at Iowa State against number 10 Iowa in September of 2021 and Kyle Hamilton has two

Interceptions here in this half two of the three for the Ravens and here’s Bosa as he makes the play on Justice Hill and a loss of three as we go back to that play defensively made and watch safety Kyle Hamilton he was coming on the blitz well it’s just an unbelievable

Job on his part that you know great players follow the ball and he gets himself up and he he’s right there in a position then to make a play on the interception and you mentioned it earlier Joe all the things that he does he does everything exceptionally well

He’s a he’s a great player and really a Swiss army knife and all the different things that he can do second down and 13 now for the Ravens this throw a little behind flowers and these two can’t connect Jackson and flowers to bring up third

And 13 well you get a chance a really nice play by Nick Bosa there on first down not able to handle that ball so now you’ve got third and long if the 49ers can make a stop here and force Baltimore to three points that’s a that’s a huge

Win in this game right now and they regain a little bit of that momentum and then it’s just a matter of Brock pie you know when you’ve thrown three interceptions forget how they’ve happened I mean it definitely has an impact on you as far as what you’re

Seeing the rest of the game here’s another incompletion with flowers the Target Green law was closing on it fourth down and Tucker comes on for the field goal try yeah that’s just a a really great job defensively a sudden change of possession having to get out there and Ravens have an outstanding field

Ceptions and uh taking on that Lions team on Saturday Monday Night Football yeah and they’re obviously a a different team at home they’ve played exceptionally well they’re going to be playing an outstanding opponent in the Detroit Lions who are playing with a lot of confidence as you mentioned sealing the division congratulations Dan

Campbell and the entire organization welld deserved but this is the time whether it’s the Dallas Cowboys or the Philadelphia Eagles or anyone else for that matter these two teams here you got to start putting some wins together and start reclaiming some of that confidence heading into the postseason if you’re

Going to have an impact here’s mcaffrey he’s able to cross the 35 and pick up three where matab made the stop by the way in that game or during halftime of that game on Saturday night talk about welld deserved Jimmy Johnson will finally go into the Ring of Honor for the Dallas Cowboys

It has not been for Brock P here in this first half you just have to keep with it and you know hopefully you can run the football take a little bit of pressure off of you but there’s going to be plays that just are not real clean and then

You’ve just got to try to protect the football top two scoring defense is going at it here tonight second down and two and maccaffrey takes out still going and he’s down inside the 10 39 yds for Christian mcaffrey and got good blocks from Samuel and use Che on

His way down to set up first and goal well you got used Che and then you talk about Debo Samuel and the job that they do they got it own scheme up front and there’s the crease and there’s Debo Samuel working all all the way down the field on Brandon Stevens and an

Outside first down thanks to the Penalty and a spinning catch by Hill and Justice is out of bounds with a gain of three and although Ambry Thomas is playing the best football of his career with San Francisco they’ve got to protect him a little bit and so when

You’ve got a quarterback like Lamar Jackson who’s able to scramble and keep plays alive it it’s hard it’s hard on any corner especially a young corner like Thomas as Todd monin says Lamar Jackson is a two-play quarterback for any defense to deal with they have to defend

The play that’s called and then defend the play that happens when the play breaks down and Jackson does his thing as Beckham is out of bounds with another Ravens first down and there is Todd monin 57 years old previous three years of Georgia back-to-back national championships with
