The holidays I think the great part about seeing everybody is everybody is still playing right and that’s like the the key not you know what we find this time of year in this business for sure everyone knows that Toronto Dave in the house hey hey mik a

Dame uh good to see everybody uh Mr Scamper is here as well so we appreciate everyone coming and uh we get to this time of year and you know even as you’re creating the content you you know like fewer people are seeing because by Nature fewer people are playing at least

In season long of course DFS kind of cures all the ills that maybe come from a sorry Season a bad draft whatever so hopefully if you’re still playing DFS you know we’ll take those questions as well I had a couple questions though Justin to get the ball rolling in

Particular you know we get playoff strategy you’re starting to look at you know players you want to keep and players you know I still get questions where people feel like it’s a tough decision to drop somebody I mean it’s hard to remember that if you don’t win

This week you’re not not playing next week so if you drop somebody maybe that’s the you know that’s the deciding factor for you how do you handle that well I read a column start sit stash quit every week and as of last week I changed that quit section from I used to

List players at every single position that you could drop and then you get to the fantasy playoffs and it’s like you know what you should be dropping anyone that’s really not helping you win this week and there’s a few exceptions I mean if you got a star player that’s hurt and

You think there’s a chance they could come back in week 17 or something then obviously you’re going to hang on to them but for for the most part you’re dropping almost anybody that’s not in your starting lineup if they can help you in any sort of way and there’s a few

Different ways I mean you know whether it’s a a guy that you could block an opponent right you could pick somebody up at a position that maybe your opponent’s weak at and I always think of that for quarterbacks right like if my opponent like this week Trevor Lawrence

Is a great example for that because we don’t know if Trevor Lawrence is gonna play and I think some fantasy managers maybe they’ll just hold out hope that he’s going to play maybe the rest of their roster kind of locked in they don’t want to drop anybody and that’s a

Spot where you can start to get a little bit shady and start to pick up some of those streamer quarterbacks and block your opponent on so really it’s anybody that’s not helping you win this week you are sending them to the waiver wire in favor of somebody that can do anything

For you because the name of the game is just get to that fantasy championship and then we’ll figure it out next week so that brings up this question which I think is pretty pertinent because we’re probably going to hear it a lot are we keeping Chase Jamar Chase on our roster

Right now I mean you know to me it’s just like a matter of space if I have to churn him to get somebody who plays who’s going to play to keep me from getting a zero siar yeah in theory you should be able to slide him into an IR spot I would

Think unless you just had like a crazy amount of injuries but for the most part there’s guys like that him I mean ra Andre Stevenson somebody that I’m not really sure we’re gonna see him again this season I mean Alexander Madison wasn’t really getting anybody to the

Fantasy playoffs but if you have him at this point even if he comes back right an ankle injury and a player who is clearly played so much better than him and Tai Chandler so yeah there’s a lot of these guys that I think even though it’s very hard to hit that button hit

That drop button when you see the name there like Star Chase I think you probably still could look we have a hard time doing that just with start sit decisions let alone like I’m cutting this person a drift from my roster and we’ll talk about some of those hard

Decisions you know a little bit of newsy stuff people uh in case you haven’t been following along at home and you’re not sure what the newsy stuff is uh looks like Tyreek Hill uh maybe come back this week Jamar Chase probably won’t play Chris La is going to play tomorrow night

He not on the injur report or at least was removed lost his designation so he’s good to go Trevor Lawrence in the concussion protocol he’s got Wolverine blood or something they tell me uh so he probably has a chance uh CJ stoud less of a chance doesn’t look good for him

Josh Jacobs sounds like he’ll be ready to go Isaiah Pacho seems likely to return uh from his shoulder injury and it’s like he had a procedure done we’ll see if that’s the case Keenan Allen not so sure there people Jonathan Taylor practiced fully today Justin and Michael

Pitman was limited that’s a good sign for him coming in you know given the hit that he took um Jonathan Taylor let’s start there what are we gonna do with the Cole’s backfield assuming and by the way Zach Moss did not practice today are we gonna throw Jonathan Taylor right

Back in the mix if he is available yeah I think absolutely you’re putting them right back in there is probably an RB one right it’s probably going to be top 10 top 12 in my rankings when I do my update and I’m going to start working on

That as soon as we finish here tonight that goes up tomorrow but I think automatically with certain guys like this like in every every injury is Case by case of course but when you have these star players I think people eror too often in thinking that the guy in

His first game back isn’t going to perform like he normally does and we see it over and over I mean Justin Jefferson’s an example where I saw people in the industry ranking him a lot lower than he should have been ranked in that first game back and yeah that first

Game he got hurt again it wasn’t an aggravation of the original injury though right it was another injury that happened he took that hard shot over the middle and then when he comes back in this game 10 targets seven catches 84 yards and he’s doing that with a third

String quarterback right like the guy’s still a star so I want to trust my stars even if they’re coming back from injury and I brought this up on my show I brought this up a couple places there’s a lot of great injury analysts now out there and I think people should be

Following all of them deac Chona has been on my show a couple times and sports Meda analytics and he brings up the fact that he lays out each week on his Twitter feed exactly what you should expect from these players not just when they’re going to return which is what a

Lot of people are focused on but if there is going to be any sort of drop off right and it’s all based on the research that has been done players at that position with that injury and how they’ve performed in the past when they’ve come back and you know could be

A 15% reduction it could be a 30% reduction it could be he’s not gonna be 100% for two weeks that sort of thing and he has nailed a couple this year there was a time when Christian Watson came back back so he I think that’s very valuable information and I think

Normally we just consider the player is going to be back and then you got to go with them right I think there are some instances where you can use that knowledge and kind of go around it a little bit but for the most part when you’re talking about a star guy whether

It’s Taylor whether it’s Josh Jacobs if we do see him and it seems kind of positive for him you’re just throwing these guys back in your lineup are you going to be the one that loses with Jonathan Taylor on your bench that’s what you’re going to regret all

Offseason so that’s the question kind of I asked myself and I mean there are some other players that we’ll talk about a little bit but I think the fantasy doctors have a nice little you know they have a Excel page out there that they’ve shared on Google that you can load up

Every week it’s like a good starting point to see you know just the new injuries versus the old injuries where players are so there is a ton of great content out there and and and it’s great seeing these guys get into this you know guys that are Avid hobbyist in the first

Place that then be able to apply their expertise to it and they all do a fantastic job so check those people out so here’s where we come to you know divorcing the name from the numbers is is like difficult for all of us we fear

Missing out on a huge game from the guy that we invested heavily in and and I’m looking at you Patrick Mahomes uh because it have we haven’t been getting great returns right so you know let’s say this week you’re sitting there and you’re facing a decision between uh

Patrick Mahomes and uh I and you know it’s not an overly daunting matchup but Vegas has been playing better of late uh and then you have like someone coming off a huge game with a super easy matchup I don’t know Baker Mayfield comes to mind in that regard right you

Know you’re making some of these decisions I think the tendency is to outsmart ourselves and try to go with the shiny new piece or the the hot hand in a great matchup is that the smart move to you or do you just stick with Patrick Mahomes no matter what it goes

Back to what I just said right that feeling of could you live with yourself if you put Patrick Mahomes on the bench and he puts up four touchdowns and if it’s close if we’re talking about you know if you’re looking at the rankings and a player’s you know one or two spots difference

That’s a little bit different then I tell people trust your gut that’s fine if we’re talking about a big difference then you got to go with the star you got to go with the guy that you trust you know the guy that even if they haven’t performed great recently and you could

Name other guys right a Dak had a down week last game right Stefon Diggs has had sort of a Down month or so maybe six weeks yeah it’s it’s kind of been not great but the bills are winning so Diggs can’t really get too mad about it

Because all he wants to do is win and I think that’s why we’re not really hearing much from him I think the times when they lose and he’s not getting the ball that’s when you really see him get angry and it tends to be in the playoffs

And like I showed you before the show I have my I still believe shirt so of course we know they’re gonna make the playoffs now and we know they’re gonna make a run and I was not saying that a few weeks ago so I’m a terrible Bills

Fan but but yeah there’s so many guys like that that we could look at bejan Robinson is one that man so much talk so much negativity about him but I have him right back in my rb1 ranks this week because the matchup is fantastic and it

Is really hard to put him on your bench do you really have that many players that many running backs that you’re gonna be able to put over him it’s hard to imagine that that’s the case so I’m looking to just trust these guys that are the stars and hope that we’ve seen

This so much this year right the up and down nature of the league the way that you can be right and wrong about something within the course of a few weeks where a player goes off and then has a couple quiet games and then goes off again right so um I’m going back

Guys in the fantasy playoffs when it’s most important I think you know for me you know part part of like when we talk about divorce the name from the numbers part of what we need to realize is with the name comes history right and it’s not like just the immediate numbers it’s

Not the last month of numbers it’s not this season’s numbers it’s all the numbers and so you have to take that into account and that’s part of what you reach that decision Point can I live with myself if I sit Patrick Mahomes this week I you know I I lean heavily on

Average weekly scoring I mean if you’re looking at players and you know trying to avoid the trend you just look at the average and try not to get caught up in the the week to week because it is so volatile it’s hard to figure out we got

A lot of questions in here Justin let’s get to some of the questions and we’ll roll through them um and and and I get you know I get everybody this is very important and we’re going to talk them through but you know if we get towards the end we’ll start going a little

Faster so don’t panic if we haven’t got to your question we’ll get them all in we’ll start out with Steve Point per completion League oh Fields versus Cardinals Murray versus Bears and second part if Trevor Lawrence plays do I start him over both of them in a point for completion League I’m

Going with fields on this one um the Bears you know shockingly have a 24.5 implied total for this week and that says a lot about the Cardinals right the Cardinals have not been great this season um I think this is a spot where Fields is potentially going to go off um

Really like him here and I’m sticking with him even though it is a bit different scoring there with the point per completion yeah I’m with you I’m with you as well and Lawrence I mean you know got depleted weapons each week he’s got a fewer questions I don’t think Z Jones

Is gonna play this week Parker Washington will screw something up at least once a week I don’t know maybe Jamal Aku can help make up some of that ground but I’m with you I’m going with fields in whatever the case I like the environment in that in that game I mean

That bucks Jags game I’m kind of surprised that the total is as low as it is in that one I feel like it should be higher I feel like it’s going to be a little more back and forth and maybe it is because they feel strongly that

Beth’s going to be the one out there and not Lawrence but like you said earlier there is still a good shot that Lawrence could play this week and get cleared we’ve seen in the second half of the season a lot more guys getting cleared from the concussion protocol within one

Week I don’t know why that is but it certainly has been the case over the second half of the year it’s been odd and noticeable I mean it was like nobody for the first half of the year in fact it was like Luke Musgrave had the 10day

Turnaround and then it was like devoid of anybody and now we see I mean and it’s not every case like CJ stra seems like he’s not going to make it back this week he wasn’t in the building last week right and I thought it was funny they

Were telling us on Saturday well we’re gonna give him a couple more hours dude he hasn’t been in the building he has done no activity how can he go get through the protocol it’s a series of steps in including increased activity examination clearing for the next step

Of of work so don’t get caught up in hype people a defense question from John fusek wouldn’t you know it New Orleans versus the Rams or Indie versus Atlanta we have a new starting quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons he’s also the old starting quarterback for a brief perod

Of time Taylor H’s in over Desmond Ritter they say it’ll be the rest of the season people we’ll see Indy’s defense has been so hot for like over a month now um and we saw Taylor hinei come in last time and I was a little bit hopeful

That he’d be able to kind of Kickstart that offense a bit last time he got the starting role he did not do very well with it so I’m gonna ride with Indy’s really really hot defense here and continue to go with them I think this the whole quarterback situation has me

You know like I thought the match was great for ban Robinson last week apparently Arthur Smith disagreed but I think Arthur Smith even is smart enough to realize the passing attack is not his bread and butter uh let’s hope so uh are you overthinking this John fusek Lamar

Versus San Francisco or Carr versus the LA Rams you’re probably overthinking this for sure massively overthinking it and we always get a lot of questions like this and I understand it right like are just yeah going over these decisions over and over in their head and they

Don’t want to make the wrong call and they’re worried about matchups but you see Star players overcome matchups more often than not Lamar is a perfect example of that he’s a guy that can blow up in any game doesn’t matter who’s on the other side of the field so I it’s

Funny because I have one that I’m probably gonna go over back and forth all week long until right up until I can’t go over it anymore and it’s Mahomes versus Golf and it’s golf at Minnesota it’s indoor golf so I’m kind of talking myself into the you know and

Obviously coming off the huge game uh you know and just looking at the average scoring it’s a little closer than I’d like it to be but yeah I’ll probably I’ll probably go back and forth on that one all before the end of the week until

I end up with Patrick M on well that’s also something worth mentioning I always tell people this that like at this point in the week I’ve only done my early version of my rankings right and when I answer questions when people ask them on Twitter I normally tell people like

Let’s talk about this on the weekend right I’m gonna have several more days to go over the research and everything so we’re kind of coming at this a little bit early in the week too the other problem with that like you said is you’re going to just be you know pining

Over it for several days here and it’s going to you know take years your life probably but hopefully in the end you make the right decision we we’re fortunate in this chat group here they’re all well aware of where we where we’re starting and where we end up

Week both of them is practiced today uh you know Watson it’s been that hamstring that’s that’s bothering him still Reed it’s now this toe injury we don’t know how severe it is whether it’s turf toe or not could be a situation where both those guys are out and yeah I I think

What we’ve seen from Craft has been really really intriguing a couple back-to-back good games here I think he could do it again I think he’s GNA get the volume and I think he’s a player that we’ve seen more than enough to feel confident in as potentially even like a

Fringe lowend typ tight end won this week yeah I feel like this could be a little bit of a boat race in La the bills coming in hot Justin’s bills looking very good right now um it may just dominate on the ground I mean this

Defense doesn’t do a hell of a lot we’ll see maybe the the uh change to an inter coach has sometimes sparked a little things the Raiders would tell you so we’ll see but I’m I’m with you Tu Craft on this one by the way if you’re playing

The daily games Craft on Taven Wicks with uh if there’s Reed and Watson both out players you should have in mind because it’s good match up for Jordan love uh Linder needs two of these in Flex players Josh Palmer versus the bills Rasheed Shahed versus the Rams Parker Washington versus Tampa Bay De

Mario Douglas versus Denver or Antonio Gibson versus Jets is this just easy that’s a that’s a an assortment of characters there that is a tough one so Antonio Gibson don’t really love what we saw last week where he wasn’t really playing much in the second half didn’t

Get the usage you would expect I think Brian Robinson will probably be out this game um and maybe Jonathan Williams he got concussed too so maybe it’s only a twom man committee yeah still I don’t know it’ll be tough for me to get behind Antonio Gibson after what we saw last

Week I think the guy that’s going to move up my rankings significantly in the update tomorrow is Parker Washington because like you said I don’t think Z Jones Is Gonna Play in this game and I talked about it a bit earlier there where I think we could see you know two

Pass funnel defenses in that game with the Jags and Bucks we could see a lot of throwing even if Lawrence isn’t out there and Ridley leading the league in targets the last two weeks has 25 targets over the last two games but Parker Washington could be the second

Guy there in that offense and we’ve seen him two touchdowns in the last three weeks um he’s a guy that I think I might sneak in there over Shahed in my rankings update yeah I think I might too what did Doug what did Douglas do this

Week I mean it was a was it wasn’t much wasn’t much it was such I mean like the problem is still it’s a lousy offense right I mean that’s just trying to avoid trying to avoid the lousy offenses I’m probably going to go with that as well

And I guess I feel okay with with with whether you know I I guess I feel okay with Palmer as well I’ll probably go I’ll probably go Palmer and Washington just based on what the anticipated roles would be uh over Demario Douglas and Shahed who seems to be kind of a spike

Play and it sounds like the LA back uh yeah I think that’s my order and I’m I’m done with Gibson too um as a matter of fact so we’ll go from there defense question again a lot of Defense questions people KC versus Raiders or Green Bay versus Panthers oh that is

Tough no Green Bay has been not great on defense but this matchup with the Panthers the Panthers make everybody look good they just they offense I mean the quotes from their OC I think it was his wife that put out like that they would wish that anybody else would take

The job right like they don’t even want to be there at this point they just want the season to be over with I think the Panthers are G to continue to turn the ball over they have not looked great uh I’m going with the Packers here surprisingly I’m it’s really close

There’s two two spot difference in my rankings I think they’re both top five plays but I actually will go Packers I mean I’m generally here to pick on quarterbacks right because we don’t always know the scoring system it can be a little tough to you know figure out

And I mean I think I I tend to play a little I don’t want to say close to best but like in and it’s maybe an oversimplification but picking on quarterbacks is tends to be pretty good business for defenses I’m going to lean Kansas city um and hope Aiden oconnell

Turns back into Aiden oconnell so but I don’t think there’s a bad play between those too I guess yeah I’m not against pick as well that’s for sure all right there you go Steve and by the way uh I think we GRE Bay GRE Bay is home i’ lean

Towards Green Bay we have assistant Jim Jim furry is out there giving assistance I think I think that’s a fair point could be high scoring the KC Raiders could be they tend to get that way hi Jim thank you appreciate app that appreciate the assist on that question

All right here we go Joe Nas would you start Jordan love versus Carolina or Baker versus Jacksonville I I think you have to go with Baker right what we’ve seen the last couple games seven touchdowns he’s got back to back one performances all those things that we already said about

That game yeah yeah the secondary the Jag secondary is just right for the picking I’m going to go ahead and go with that great weapons too and by the way Chris Godwin welcome back to The Fray appreciate yeah it’s great to see that’s correct Steve all right

Mullen vers oh here we go Mullen versus Flo I have love but I see Zero upside in that matchup I don’t see Zero upside there I think it’s like not an unreasonable matchup uh for Jordan love this week myself uh against Carol I mean it’s not the best and maybe the

Diminished weapons are are the issue but but either way I mean I you know great weapons on the other for both the other players there probably more favorable match ups maybe for flacko for sure I I think that I still like love here um the flacko thing that I’m a little bit

Worried about is is the Houston offense if we’re not having Stroud out there like that Cleveland defense is so good like they are going to shut down that offense with Case Keenum so I don’t think we’re going to get a situation where Flaco’s GNA have to throw as much

As he’s thrown recently um but kind of close between those two but I actually would still go with love I like even if those two guys are out even if Watson’s out and even if reads out they have a lot of young players that can make plays out there

And picked up at a bunch of leagues and and I might even have to play this week um in one League I like Wicks quite a bit yeah I don’t disagree with the love KY B but I mean it feels like you have a leading and if you’re feeling like

Really uncomfortable with it I would probably go Flack over Mullin but it’s FL over Mullins I agree right he’s got 300 yards a game so far I don’t know but I I think your point is really good just Justin I I really thought of it that way

And it seems like totally reasonable to be thinking the game script in this one here’s what here’s one go or Mayfield just in general uh easy one for us the these are like these are like coin flips this one is very close but I I would go with Goff I

Have go ahead of Mayfield as well like you know you you don’t want you want to play the hot hand but you don’t want to overstate it I mean it’s you know B hand nine touchdowns between them last week is that yep I don’t think either of them

Are gonna have last week’s game but if one was more likely to it might be golf I do like that it’s at Minnesota so it’s semi indoors he can tell himself he’s at home oh thank you there Dominic appreciate you wish happy happy holidays to you and

Your family as well and to the cats the cats are standing by watching from upstairs we have a couple cats over here as well ah very good very good Andrea needs two always the toughest questions uh moster versus Dallas Bean versus Indie javante Williams versus New England McKinnon versus Vegas or PCO who

Seems like he will be back two of those two there yeah so I’m I’m going most certain Pacho um and we obviously have to wait a little bit later in the week to know for sure on Pacho but Andy Reid said that he’s expecting him to come

Back um yeah and moster you’re you’re not going away from moster we just saw Dallas’s defense get run all over I think Miami’s going to be able to do that as well um and Peko the last time he played Vegas had a couple touchdowns

Had a good amount of yards so as long as he’s healthy we don’t hear anything later in the week that they’re going to ease him back in or something like that then uh yeah P would be the second one for me there if you’re just tuning in

Saw it was sort of a busted play last week but you know we saw him have a good game there and it was also garbage time but they’re probably going to have a lot of garbage time this time around too um the kind of interesting because that

Green Bay defense over the middle like they just don’t seem to want to defend anybody there so we could see theen rack up some catches but he just hasn’t really been the same as The Season’s gone along and maybe that’s not super surprising based on his age and what’s

Happened in that offense so for me it be Palmer some of that has been like he was so much better with right calling plays than he’s been with Thomas Brown calling plays that’s been part of it but also just like that offense doesn’t score a ton of points all those things are true

Um I’m going with you I’m going with Palmer uh as well and I maybe to off like I was super intoed de Mario Douglas earlier on but these offense is just the New England offense has just gone to Hell in a hand basket and it’s just

Really hard for me to rely on them in crunch time Steve needs two Flex players out didn’t we see this one we already saw this one you don’t have to ask twice Steve we’ll get to it he didn’t like our answer the first time same answer Ferguson versus Miami

Or likely versus San Francisco there you go even in the tough matchup I have to go with likely here he’s basically stepped into the Mark Andrews role and there’s some injuries on that 49ers defense um it’s likely for me yeah tray McBride would tell you that uh that San

Francisco is not that daunting a matchup for tight ends especially when they’re in the crosshairs of their quarterback just in general though Ferguson when we head into next year is he going to be a tight end one for you in your rankings do you think I think he has to be it

Might be a little bit lower end tight end one but based on the way he’s played this year and we’ll see I think there’s going to be some good rookies coming in as well and now we’re not so worried about these rookies coming in potentially waiting a couple years for

Them I think a lot of these guys will step in and produce like we saw this season but uh yeah Ferguson to me has to be in at least that lowend tight end one range at this point he’s definitely kept himself ahead of Luke Schoonmaker I don’t think we’re gonna see Luke

Schoonmaker and it’s so sad right you see some of these guys come in and Schoonmaker has the injury doesn’t really have a chance to compete maybe he wouldn’t have won the job anyway but now he’s kind of stuck behind Ferguson and we’ll see what he can do going into next

Season but it’s Ferguson is a lowend tight end one in my mind just another question about the Dallas offense while we’re talking about a little bit I mean it wasn’t great last week against Buffalo for sure but for the most part it’s been phenomenal right and I mean

Like I was a little skeptical when they cut Kell Moore loose I mean I thought this offense is pretty good with Kell Moore Mike McCarthy you know the narrative as he left Green Bay was that he was you know kind of phoning it in

And and uh and all that and and it turns out he’s done a really good job with this offense and I keep going back to Thanksgiving after that game when Dak Prescott’s getting interviewed and he’s said I feel more comfortable in this offense than I felt in any offense the

Since I’ve been a pro all that seems to be bearing out how bullish are we going to be on this offense heading into next season I I think very bullish I think we have to be super excited about it and I think we probably I will say that I owe

An apology to Mike McCarthy because I was believing that they would lean more on the run this season I didn’t think there was any chance we were going to see what they’ve done this year so yeah very very high in this this Dallas offense moving forward and they might

Even add more weapons to to this thing right I could see them bringing in a running back like wouldn’t that be a nice spot Derrick Henry’s kind of talking like he’s not gonna go back to the Titans next season let’s bring an aging Derrick Henry in there and pair

Him up with Tony Pard I think that could be very interesting yeah there’d be a nice thunder and lightning there and Tony Pard by the way seems to be coming on even as well as we hit down the stretch uh which is uh which is helping

People out who have stuck with him uh Keenan Allen if he does not play Mike Arts wants to know Javonte versus New England or Tai Chandler versus the Lions I’m just gonna start out by noting Alexander Madison did not practice he has fallen behind Tai Chandler on the

Depth chart first of all before we answer this question what the hell took the Vikings so long to come around to this I feel like the fantasy Community like we tend to be a little more assertive and aggressive about players why isn’t he playing more he should be

Playing more sometimes we’re right I feel like in this case Tai Chandler we all liked them better than the Vikings did I mean they brought in cam Acres they were looking for reasons not to play Tai Chandler yeah I don’t know if it had something to do with like the the

Contract that they gave Madison and maybe they sort of promised him that he was going to be the lead back like it doesn’t make any sense we’re just sort of grasping at straws here to try to figure it out so yeah you see Chandler come in like this and late in the season

Sometimes when these backups get starts the fresh legs thing comes in right like you see these guys coming and they are they are just raring to go so whether Chandler can keep this up over the Long Haul who knows I’m not so confident in that but right now he is fresh he’s

Producing that and we’re seeing the coaching staff immediately is just saying that yeah he’s going to be the guy they’re going to go into it with him as the lead back now whether Madison’s out there or not and like I said earlier even if Madison does come back the type

Of injury that he had with the ankle I don’t think he’s G to be even as effective as he was before which wasn’t that effective so uh Chandler would be my answer to this question and yeah I think he’s somebody you could be excited about as potentially like a top 15 back

The next couple weeks yeah thank you D that’s very kind of you Christmas time little Christmas year um so I’ll just you know I’ll go back to this I mean and I don’t want to get carried away but just eyeball test wise watching chandor last week I mean he ran with kind of

Vision and and you know and speed that I haven’t seen for Madison I don’t think in his career so I’m pretty uh pretty interested to see if he can keep it going it’s a tough matchup so so we’re looking at gavon versus Chandler in the same matchup Javon struggled in last

Week right I mean Detroit defense is kind of no joke what do you think about that yeah I’m still going with Chandler and it’s it’s a bit of a volume thing as long as SM P’s okay he was out of practice today I think it was just for

Rest um they’re sort of you know getting other guys involved there where Chandler’s the top Guy Kenny wongu is not getting that many touches so um it’s a bit of a volume thing there and how Chandler looked recently and you know Javon hasn’t really come through with

Massive games recently I think a couple weeks ago he was all right but last week not so much so uh yeah going going with Chandler on that one and I also think too like later in the season when we’re seeing some of these guys like you know

Step up I think fantasy-wise we have to be able to adapt like you can’t just sort of rest on Javonte Williams you know we’ve liked him for two years and you know we we think he’s going to be one of the next stars at running back

All that goes out the window when you see something like last week when Chandler puts up a game like he did you have to be willing to adapt and that’s how that’s going to give you the best chance to get to the fantasy championship in my mind yeah every year

There is a running back who nobody drafted who comes out of nowhere to win people titles so I mean that’s you know we can go back to Nick Going’s you know every year there there are players who are going to win your titles Maybe This Year Tai Chandler is one of those

Players maybe it was going to be Keaton Mitchell before he was so horribly taken away from me yeah oh brutal that’s a bad scene what can you do don’t go look at the replay if anybody hasn’t seen that replay don’t go look at that replay I wish I hadn’t seen it great Rich

Ones where they’re both sort of at the the high end of the qb1 rankings and Herz he doesn’t look 100% healthy and people I don’t understand why you know we saw I think it was Chris Long who had this you know big rant about you know people need to have more context about

Their takes and things injuries play a factor and sometimes these guys gut it out and they play through it and I think back to Josh Allen last year where people really got on him but he wasn’t 100% in the second half of the season and we’re seeing it this year with Herz

He’s not 100% when he’s running out of the pocket he’s sort of laboring like this is not the same guy that we saw last season and yet he’s still getting it done more weeks than not um so I would go with him but yeah it’s a fairly

Close call in that 49ers Baltimore game we could see a lot of points scored in that game I know it’s two really good defenses but it’s also two pretty good offenses as well and sometimes when these really good teams square off we get these big games so I’m not too

Worried I’m not calling you crazy by any means if you’re going with py here but for me it would be Herz yeah not crazy at all and I and I agree with pretty much everything Justin just said there I I don’t think you know these are tough

Lock seems to really like throwing to lock it didn’t turn out to be a huge game for him last week but I think he had a decent amount of targets um but yeah having Gino back just makes that passing attack more interesting to me and you have a matchup with the Titans

Who it’s a team that you’re probably gonna want to try to throw on um and then flowers I’ll take the upside of flowers potentially finding the end zone or having a big game versus what we’ve seen from theing lately yeah just you know watching that game Monday night I

Mean you know exactly how we thought it was going to play out the running backs were the huge factors there Kenneth Walker came back are we are we are we feel what’s our level of Trust on what we saw from Kenneth Walker in that

Game I I like him I mean I’m I’m going to him this week I think that was a really really bad matchup and they completely leaned on him and as much as I had a lot of friends and a lot of fantasy threads that were saying things

You know that were playing some guys in that passing attack that were very upset that Walker was getting as much work that he was as he was but it worked out in the end it ended up being a smart game plan yeah he’s super exciting I mean anytime he touches the ball he

Could take it to the house and you know whether you’re a fantasy fan whether you’re just an NFL fan you have to like that yeah for me I Walker right up he my rb7 this week in my rankings yep yep totally agree uh uh oh fantasy Championship on the line this week need

Two ree Hall moer Taylor uh we’re going with Mo T if Taylor’s healthy we’re going with moer and Taylor I think they’re taking the the foot off the gas a little bit with Bree I think now that they know they’re not going to make the the playoffs I

Don’t think they’re going to try to Max him out by any means why would they right make sure he’s healthy going into next season so yeah I think I think Bree is the one that I would sit there it was also I will say I like fantasy championship this week I think that’s

Smart when they switched and and we went to the 18-week season and the 17 game schedule I don’t like that nearly as much now we got to work through Christmas you know all this the holidays you got to make sure that you’re on top of everything I liked it better when it

Have him as my rb10 I think he is going to be right on that Fringe of lowend rb1 high end rb2 this week yeah I think you’re going to play him all right I’m going to get called out here and I’m going to take it Richard we did make the

Wrong call javante over Chandler last week but I’m glad you still got there turns out not every decision is pristine right and and I just didn’t have a lot of faith in you know in I want I think I was a little worried just in general about Minnesota’s offense uh in that

Game not sure what to expect uh I think we have a better idea what to expect now I think we’re getting a better idea of what to expect from javante I mean the thing that troubled me about this one and I know it was just a Personnel

Package involved but I mean you know Jalil mlof got the start basically was the first back in the field and it’s just a reminder that murky three-man committees to quote Andy Baron not always the best place to mine for sure production it’s not a committee in Minnesota now uh blacko has we’re seeing

More and more of those committees as well it’s going to make it even more difficult for us to project all this stuff Mr scampers reminds us flacko has outscored Mahomes since he started for instance it’s true I mean you know there’s and then this is you know this

Is why we we want to make these kind of crazy moves that sometimes we’re making I mean you know if you were told me the start of the seasoned there might be a conversation in which I was talking about starting Joe Flac over Patrick Mahomes and it wouldn’t be totally

Insane to have that conversation I would have said you were totally insane but yet here we are that’s one of the fun things about fantasy and I was telling you the story before the show I’ll tell a quick version here but in one of my leagues uh we had a first place team

That was just a juggernaut we had another team that it’s a keeper league and they felt like they were out of it this year so they traded away CMC and Montgomery to that number one team and just made him even stronger they also traded traded away Josh Allen um and by

Doing that all of a sudden the fantasy Gods shifted and decided you know what we’re going to help him out a bit some injuries happened that opened up opportunity for some of his players and that team ended up making it into the playoffs eight teams in that League make

It he made it in as the eighth team after getting hot those weeks played that first place team that he traded those guys to that he has his draft picks next year and beat him in the first round of the playoffs and if you looked at the two lineups it was

Stunning it was an All-Star team on one side versus just all those waiver wire pickups on the other and now that juggernaut’s gone down and I mean I’m sure you’ve been in that spot Bob I’ve been in that spot many times where you feel like you have the best team and

Then you get to the fantasy playoffs and know it’s a rude awakening when you lose to another Squad it could totally fall apart so Richard has a question this week in a PPR uh Higgins over puka or auk and then hackinson or McBride that’s so I’m going with McBride

There’s not many tight ends right now that I’d want to start over Trey McBride he’s basically we look for these tight ends who can be that number one receiver in their offense Mick bride is now one of the few he is in that category and they got some injuries there as well but

Even before the injuries had become that guy um and I am starting Higgins over the other two I mean I like all three of those guys they’re all great receivers but Higgins has shown before that he can be a number one white out and now he’s gonna get another opportunity to do it

With Chas out I just want to throw up a number here because I it struck me I want to say that the Cardinal receivers had what uh yeah the tight the tight ends were the first second and third and only two of them only had one catch I think we had like uh

McBride out produced all the wide receivers 10 catches 102 yards I don’t think he hit like uh what was the number I think he had like 26 yards to the rest of the to the wide receiving court now Maris Brown was out for most of the game

And and maybe out again this week Michael Wilson’s back so it was ugly I’m I’m with you there’s not a lot of tight ends I’m interested Sam leapor might be won is is is he on the list of guys you play ahead of McBride uh yeah they’re sort of like

Neck and neck each week yeah that’s sort of one that I have to stress about every single week and and dig deep into the matchups and stuff and lorta this week is my number one tight end he’s ahead of him I was just trying to look up the

Receivers we had Greg dorch two for 15 he led the way Rondo Moore two for five that was it I think so yeah four catches 20 yards for the receivers right right that was it I mean and it was McBride just dominated so we’re going into Dynasty startups next year uh Travis

Kelce is long been the top pick hackinson is going to be in that conversation maybe thinking Kurt Cousins will be back and I feel a little better about him is the argument though that it’s is it leaport and McBride at the top of the list at the top of the ranks in Dynasty

This year hands down that’s how I’m gonna have it when I do my next update at the beginning of January yeah I don’t think there’s any other way to look at it they’re they’re young they’re producing they’re really showing us everything that you want to see and man

What a a tight end class that came in this year I know you know McBride’s not a rookie but what a a young group of tight ends we have in the league and and those rookies that came in this year and even guys that didn’t get all the way

There like a Luke Musgrave like he’s somebody that’s really exciting that I’d be targeting next year as well like just you know so many guys and the the one that you got to feel bad for right now is is my guy Dalton cancade who was producing really well when Dawson Knox

Was out and I thought you know what the offense has changed they’re gonna continue to go with him and KN comes back and unfortunately been Knox is is Knox the piece that’s making the difference or is it the shift to more the run this week and maybe some other

Factors I mean like I I always feel like I boil these things down to single variable issues when they’re really multivariable issues we all know that and and and I want and maybe I’m just making excuses for D conade who I had way higher expectations for no I think

Some of it was also just the way the games went right like last week they’re dominating they were running the ball so well and we saw the quotes right from Joe Brady that he was saying like you know it was working why would we go away

From it we were going to continue to run the ball and if you’re going to run the ball you don’t really need Dalton King there to do that Dawson ox’s a better blocker at this point in their career so um yeah I think there are quite a few

Factors but the other thing that I didn’t really understand was that first game when Dawson Knox came back we saw K Kade go back to like the low a DOT that he had early in the season and that was strange at the time and then you see him

Like get unlocked and you figure okay we’re past that Knox comes back he goes back to the low adott super small sample maybe it was just that game of course but yeah I thought that was even really strange you could write off last week’s game as well maybe it was just because

It was the blowout the game before that though were yeah he was running those short routes again I didn’t really get it right I’m with you there uh by the way thank you Royal slate appreciate you and appreciate the uh reminder that I should have had Justin Boon on way

Sooner than I did uh glad to have you Justin swifter aan in a full PPR uh I’m assuming this is a flex play this is not your running back one go ahead I I’m going with Swift I think last week okay so we we finally saw him

Have a bit of a bounce back 20 touches in that game wasn’t a huge game didn’t find the end zone but don’t yet feel bad for him every time he goes down at like the one or two yard line and he just knows he’s all right they’re gonna take

It away from they’re not gonna give it to me oh man um and and great matchups he’s got great matchups the next couple weeks here the Giants and the the Cardinals I think he’s going to finish the season really strong um and and I’m going Swift there but I like both these

Guys and I think they’re kind of in similar spots where I want that upside I think both of them could give you really big games and both of them can find the end zone at some point Swift is gonna do it he’s gonna find The End Zone here he

Won’t get get robbed by Jaylen Herz at the goal line but yeah I’m leaning Swift do you feel like this if this was a case where you were looking at your opponent lineup and you like you know you’re projected to lose by about 50 points or

Something like if you need a swing for the fence play I think you go with h and if you just need you know the solid play the volume play and like I know it hasn’t been certain with swift but it’s been pretty good the last few weeks I’m

I’m I’m going to agree on the matchups I think they’re a little more favorable going forward Mr scampers has a defensive question Philly versus the New York Giants or Detroit at Minnesota I know Philly’s been bad and I shouldn’t be repping these like bad defenses and good matchups because that

Can burn you sometimes and I just did it with the Packers earlier but I’m going with Philly here I mean that Giants offense we’ve seen so many teams get home against them this season and I think this is going to be another case where that Eagles front is going to be

Able to to control him a bit there so I I feel like I have to go with the Eagles on that one uh we’re going to agree on this one as a matter of fact I’m going also with the Eagles and uh we’ll see how that one plays out scampers I hope

It works out well for you I have a road Miami’s defense I have ridden yes you have Paul De santis boy if you have been good for you uh would you start them over Dallas or pivot to Chicago it’s funny I’ve had this same question from about three people this week uh about

Getting away from Miami because they’re going up against Dallas how do you feel about that yeah I’ve dropped Miami I I did the same thing here I’ve been riding them for the last month or so um and yeah I dropped them in the leagues where

I had them I think it’s time I think the match ups the next couple weeks right it’s it’s Cowboys and it’s Ravens I believe right so there’s really no point I don’t I don’t feel great about those situations for them and I think there’s so many streamers at defense this year

Right like you look at all these quarterback situations all these backups even into like the third string guys in some situations so many defenses you could look to um I don’t think you need to chase Miami they had their time and it was great but yeah I think it’s over

Now be grateful for what you had not sad for what you’re losing people all right need a tight end for PPR Hunter Henry P fouth or uh craft fouth got a full practice in today it was a little worried yesterday when he did not but he did don’t know if I’m feeling really

Great about Mason Rudolph as quarterback although he’s very handsome very handsome man uh I’m going craft we talked about him earlier I really like his situation and it might be a little bit closer if I knew that Henry was going to be healthy but uh yeah I’m not 100% sure it was

Standard League it would be a pretty easy call right exactly yeah two catches for two touchdowns yeah all right here we go Reese one Reese I wants to know Tai Chandler James Conor K McClaren look James Conor I feel like people kind of got down on him you look at the every

Week you know the usage and the production it’s been pretty consistently solid uh but how do you feel about this group at a halfway PPR rank of them how you like them uh I’m going with Chandler and I’m going with Connor and Terry McClaren takes the back seat there a lot

Of McLaren’s production last week came with Jobe brassette right like it was jacobe brette that somehow unlocked him um which is sad to see it’s such a strange year for McLaren yeah it’s and yeah and they’re playing the the Jets as well so yeah W says that that’s not a

Big concern but I think I think Jaylen W was a little bit of an outlier there I’m yeah I’m taking uh I’m taking the guaranteed touches there and Chandler and Connor I’m going with you as well I like I like him in the same order this week and and I’ve been pretty pretty

Impressed but there’s more sharing for Connor right now than there is for Chandler uh that’s kind of the determining factor for me Dave lisman wants to know half Point PPR two Flex players Jerome Ford Brian Robinson Noah Brown Romeo dubs Josh Palmer oh go bills Mafia go bills go what are you gonna

Jump off a table or something Dave come on man or jump on a table I guess that’s how you do it these are always fun to try to break down when you got this many so Brian Robinson we don’t know about yet like I said earlier I don’t think

He’s going to play um so for me would be uh it’s tough uh Palmer and dos I think I would go with uh Brown it would move up if we know for sure that niik Collins is going to play but I believe Nico Collins was limited today so that’s

Going to at least give him a chance to play play and if that happens then Brown’s much less exciting to me and already like we talked about a tough matchup out there so Palmer you cross your fingers in hope if we thought the game script was gonna get lean in the

Favor of Cleveland would for you know I’m like thinking Ford might be in this conversation a little bit for me uh just maybe because of my distrust of Romeo dubs um I’m once again I’m basing that on the fact that I think Reed and Watson are out though right so that’s that’s

The reason that a little bit more I’ll probably go Ford and Palmer but it’s really close and and Noah Brown might rise up a little bit but if I think that there is no n Collins but also he’s playing Cleveland and I’m probably I’m probably I’m probably in that I’m probably locked in
