All right today I’m going to be working with uh using the least amount of effort for my swing so the value of this is what most people’s swings go off by applying effort in ways that aren’t productive basically they don’t actually make you swing any faster so the exercise

Is feel what is the least amount of effort to move your trainer so pretty pretty much putting no some upper body effort just to create a little bit of structure but really almost all driven by the shifting and turning and now combine with that least amount of effort the slowest possible

Swing I can make slowest possible move with the least amount of effort and I’ve Got a Feeling for that now so take that into my club and here’s the discipline part is keep that effort level really low so don’t start adding some extra into the ball cuz you

Feel like that’s going to help you hit it farther so least amount of effort we just put that very low effort swing through the Ball pretty good probably about maybe 30% effort on that swing then let’s just stay with that at least of amount of effort as slowly as I can swing with the least amount of effort here there we go going to like that one I Think this will be something that seems like this can’t be right unless you do it and then you’ll say oh it works fine so the only way to understand this how you can put 30% effort and still hit a driver 240 with my size and age is to do

It so again let’s go back and this helps you because your impulse is to add some muscle and so you’ve got to but it’ll also if you spend enough time with it you’ll you’ll start to become efficient because it’s too much work otherwise so least amount of effort which means I’m not adding

Acceleration into this I’m letting it fall and just giving it a little like you would if you were on a swing just that little bit of energy that you add at the bottom to keep your motion going that’s the feeling you want I have a little a little bit of

Upward momentum that sort of accelerates this now as slowly as I can do it there we go least amount of effort as slowly as I can do it without holding the club up so I could add effort and go more slowly but that wouldn’t be the least amount of

Effort the least of amount of effort is to toss it up let gravity drop it down you can see this is least amount of effort and the more you can get this least effort then you can start adding a little bit of speed right through there so so least amount of effort

Slowly as I can do this too bad down the middle there’s a good one and now don’t move ahead too soon but when you want to move ahead and add just a little more speed CU you don’t really need to add that much more effort even give a little more

Here and a little more there so let’s see what I can do still very low effort here a little FY didn’t quite get the club base closed let me try one more that won’t get the that that speed could have produced because the club face was pretty open

And my spin numbers were not good so still have to keep my grip firm enough that it doesn’t do that still have to keep myself behind the ball so here we go try one more that little was better see we get out of that there we go 249 so that’s your

Practice as soon as you feel yourself adding some upper body into it go back to your trainer and feel how that’s basically a frivolous task trying to add something with your upper body is not the way you’re going to move this the way you’re going to move it is to go with gravity

And use the big muscles of your legs to generate the speed back to that and again I’ll say it for the temp time in this video least amount of effort as slowly as you can swing without actually adding Force to try to stop the clump from dropping toss it up there you go

One thing I notice on least amount of effort your also teaching how to float load or ad lag when your coming down. most golfers are already unloaded at this point and in order to change directions with the bell you are hinging your wrists to move it going down which is added lag which is float loading – this is key. Great invention
