[Applause] and let’s have some fun baby yeah one of the biggest hurdles that we have as amateur golfers and being able to use our body versus our hands to swing the golf club is that majority of the time when we’re using our body to swing the club it feels like a 3/4 swing

Or a half swing it doesn’t feel like it’s the club’s far enough back and it’s the same thing that I’ve been battling for the past three months now is really trying to make sure that the top of my back swing is at the top of my body’s ability to do functionally or

Efficiently versus what I can do flexibility wise so everybody likes to see if they can get this thing back and wrap the the arm across the chest and get it back because the farther I can get the club head back the farther it’s going to go but in reality If I Stay

Engaged and I don’t do any compensatory movements from anywhere in my body that’s the top of my back swing right there I cannot physically get any more internal rotation in my hip and I can’t physically get any more shoulder turn from my thoracic spine those are

The only two areas in your whole entire body that you should be getting rotation from so if you’re going back farther than that after you’ve maxed out your hip and your thoracic spine you’re getting it from raising your hands up or arching your low back or swaying or doing

Something that you shouldn’t be doing so the thing that you have to do is you have to train your brain that it’s right to only go back to here I can’t physically go from here and then that it’s okay to do that and you’re just

Going to do it over and over and over again and what you’re going to find most likely is you’re going to be strangling the club strangling it to try to hit it harder and farther once you realize that you can relax your grip then you’ll be able to harness the

Efficiency of being able to hit the golf ball with your body within your range versus here and it’ll actually fly oh come on oh let’s do it again why did it do that don’t have the right stickers on the club swing easy and Let It Go open Club

Face or was that a path problem yeah yeah don’t have the right stickers on here but that’s what you’re trying to do just do it over and over again it felt like a 3/4 swing to me maybe even a half swing to me but we freaking carried it 158 yards with a

Seven iron and I didn’t feel like I worked that hard that’s what we’re trying to do make this game easier doesn’t need to be harder it’s already hard enough like And subscribe I’m going to keep the content coming on a simple level so you can comprehend it

And digest it share this with somebody and yeah

  1. Interesting video but the position where you show that you can't go further back without some compensatory movement on the back swing doesn't seem correct because you have not straightened the trail leg to push your hips further back. They can go a lot more and all the pro golfers do that. Right leg totally straightened on the backswing, pushes right hip back and facilitates more turn easier!
