Is pretty cool I mean that’s how the Porsche engine mounts and so that’s what they did with the V8 I’ve seen a couple of the new modern LS SWOT kits where they actually take like a cage dude it like bolts here it wraps under and attaches to the trans and gives it a

Pedestal I don’t know the benefits to that I can assume it has to do more with the accessories cuz you look at this since the chassis is right here you don’t have really any room for accessories um you can’t Mount the water pump to the engine you have to remote

Mount it as you can tell it’s like on a belt on a bracket underneath it same with the alternator if you have an alternator that’s usually up here you’re going to have to bring it down out of the way so whenever we swap into this thing we got to move maybe two

Accessories right maybe use an electric water pump not a big deal at all especially if we use an engine that was meant for front wheeel drive already that’s easy right cuz they Factory like kind of face plated Renegade hybrids right that’s I’m assuming that’s the the the rest of the

Kit all SWAP kit that’s the whole swap kit they still make all the modern LS swap kits for the Porsches so like 996 997 super common LS swap right it’s a great chass LS swap you can do it for pretty affordable price considering what the car is it’s sick the fact that

They’ve been making swap kits for so long all the way from a small block swapped super Carrera to you know LS something or other 997 like that’s cool the hard thing with the Porsche swaps is you kind of have to use a Porsche trans right because the trans axle car so the

Axles come out of here and if you try to use a different trans it’s not like you could just use a front-wheel drive transmission right with a rotated engine doesn’t work like that you have to use a transaxle trans which really what you’re going to get is either the pores or the

Subar the only problem with the subar is they spin the wrong way I’m pretty sure that’s the issue they just Spin The Wrong Way Drive in Reverse what a good idea but this is the original Super cero trans which is makes it a 915 trans which isn’t known to be the strongest

Trans right is this going to feel old and clunky if we swap on something modern or is it going to feel right at home because a lot of dick this I you don’t see a lot of field complaints about these Transmissions more just about the strength of it do we go with a

More modern Porsche trans and have to do a lot of customization or do we just suck it up and use the keep it simple keep it simple use the OEM trans exactly R in bolts ride in so all we have to if you think about it if we get a trans

Adapter all we have to worry about is one engine mount which is the one in the face of the engine and the rest is BS right by the trans It Bolts right by the trans and the rest of it is just a typical engine swap I don’t want to make

Adapter for it so we can go VV LSR off the rip we don’t have to build it cuz I want to keep it around 350 horsepower you could do that with it stock bottom that’s very you it be kind ofr in this Beck that’d be sick or what’s the

Ultimate front wheeel drive engine K Ser good engine we know it we love it makes good no no no be Ser spoon will love it spoon will love it with that would I hadn’t even thought about that that’s honestly pretty kind of fire but I’m not feeling expensive

Right now we know the K we know it really well every single part you can ever imagine any orientation you can get off the shelf easy manifold directions exhaust intake to water inlet Outlets all the custom B you can just get that on a shelf you know they make good power

  2. Love the 1.8t engine my vw bora (aum) engine not even as strong as the bam engine ran 285 bhp for 5 years no issues with a few bolt on mids only. But the vr6 sounds amazing…

I dont like sr20s usually but in this case would be a good swap, if going k series a high revving k20 over a k24 … just my 2 cents…. also with the box, keeping the oem one may be simple now but when it blows how easy and cheap is it going to be to replace it, a newer porche box thats stronger may be a better option for longevity

  4. 1.8t will need rods at a minimum, come with cheese rods from the factory. Im running 450 with just rods
