Offense I want to we want I want to do a deep dive into it because we talked about the game yesterday talked about how the offense performed all of that yes it was all nice only thing to me that’s been a problem with this L this
Offense and and team as a whole is really how inconsistent they’ve kind of been they haven’t put any consistency together it feels like um and I want to see like personally heading into the playoffs I want to see this offense go four straight games 30 point points and
Dominate every team will it happen probably not but I think it could happen if the offensive line is heal like it really they ride or die with that offensive line and it’s not a a a negative on any of the other weapons or Jared Goff it’s it’s if that offensive Line’s healthy
They can compete that offense we we’re starting with the offense right the offense can go Toe to Toe with any team in the NFL where we start bringing the full team and and you know going up against the 49ers offense with our that’s a that’s a different story but um
And yes the 49ers are probably the most dangerous defense um still they’re the most complete team but this offense they they can score 40 on any given night they can average 30 again I I forget what their what their season average is is it over 30 it’s got to be over 30
Right um they they can play with anybody they’re so they’re so balanced and they’re so multi-dimensional it’s very hard to game plan against it’s hard to understand what the Lions game plan going to be we thought all along in this Denver Broncos game the lions were going
To be pounding the rock it was going to be a David Montgomery 25 25 rushes uh it was going to be that kind of game yeah what did they do they came out and they started chucking them allall around to J to Amar Brown lorta they Ben Johnson he

Um is I feel like when you get into the playoffs and the biggest question here with the playoffs right what’s today’s NFL all about offense right like you always have a great quarterback it’s who can put the most points up yeah defense is there um but the stat that I always
Give out is in the Super Bowl the last six seven Super Bowl winners their defenses have all been outside the top 10 so when I look at hey can you make a playoff run and go make a push to go win the Super Bowl it come to me it all
Starts on offense and I think this Detroit Lions team if you go if you go head-to-head with any a team in the in the playoffs I think this offense you could say you you could argue is the best if one of the best if not the best
Yeah and and and let if you’re just looking at the NFC like the Lions right now yes the quarterback spot they probably don’t win but they have a quarterback that knows how to win and has has experience right they have the best running back duel in the NFL they
Have the best offensive line in the NFL when healthy and they have some of the best they have a top five wide receiver and they have they have a top what do you guys want to say a top two right now top three tight end in the NFL yeah this
Could be one of if not the best one of the best offenses in the NFL in the playoffs this this postseason and with that alone in my opinion that can take you far in the playoffs if you have an offense and go out there and put 35 Plus
Points every single week no matter what and hang 35 on a team that’s tough for a team to beat yeah that’s that’s tough and I I truly like when you’re looking at the playoff runs and these next three games we’re going to get into it um in a
Couple segments about getting this two seed and kind of what that looks like for the Lions but you’re trying to go on those runs and actually get something going how bad was that stretch of football for those four or five those six game stretch and guess what they
Went four- two and that’s because that offense they always find a way to score points has like they always do even if jro go has turnovers at some point they flip the switch and they like that Bears game and then they just go score two touchdowns win the game like this
Offense is and I don’t think people realize how good this offense is I I don’t think so either and one of the added Dimensions or added elements that makes this offense dangerous especially come playoff time is their ability to control the ball yes that means that they leave their defense off the field
As long as possible not because they’re a weak defense but you want your defense even if they’re number one ranked in the playoffs coming in rested ready to go you want your offense on the field as much as possible then your defense can come out and make the big plays in big
Moments because they’re the rested side you get the opposing defense uh tired from from pounding the rock with David Montgomery jir Gibbs or even just this is a value to Jared G he his ability to manage the game and hit the receivers on these short routes and just continue to
Slowly chug down the field move the chain slowly but surely that that’s that value goes up in the playoffs cuz you need that whether you’re playing indoors or Outdoors you just need to be able to control the ball control the time and possession I want to give credit to um
Armani and Edwards there there’s a lot of times I watch the show and there and and I reference back to them sometimes in our show CU Ryan does um he has like sometimes these these takes where I’m like when you first hear it you’re like
Oh whoa and then when you think about it it’s like oh know he’s he’s right and today he talked about Frank ragna on this offensive line and he mentioned Frank ragn now maybe outside of am man rosin Brown and I think a lot of people
Would be quick to say pan but if you think like if you look at the games Frank was down or the games that he came out and was injured he might be the most valuable player on this football team or the most important most important however you want to phrase it and I
Spoke about this before he came back before this game it’s like when you go watch these centers play I go back to that Jason Kelce film that I watched where he explained everything he does and um actually the importance of a center and uh kind of calling out

Cuz when they play like they did against the Broncos they can beat any team in the league I’ve said that on on Time time and time again um the problem is I mean Dallas they got to be able to withstand that Dallas offense man defensively and that’s that’s a big key
That I’m worried about is this defense going forward obviously for the reasons that we mentioned earlier but it’s very possible that they finish strong three and0 and and and hid into the playoffs we we have seen too after every Lions lost besides obviously the Packers won
But after every lines lost lose to the Seahawks four straight lose to the Ravens three straight and then the Packers one is obviously the one off um but I mean if you don’t lose that like you don’t lose that Bears game that’s another three straight like you WN you
Won two and then your next three after that loss um I think this is a situation to where you they I think they beat the Vikings this week clinch the division uh historic day in Detroit on Christmas Eve and then I think the Cowboys game I think they they can win that football
Game I truly do and I think that might be one of the first cowboys losses at home in 16 straight games and I think it’s what we said last week it was like the Lions might catch them at a good time to where they’re down a little bit
They’re coming off a loss who knows what they do this week and then the Lions can catch them slipping um and then all you have to do in week 18 is just I’m more worried about the Vikings again I’m more worried about going four in a row four
And 0 four in a row than three and I say that with the the hypothetical scenario that the Vikings are that fourth they they’re probably the team honestly that scares me the least but if you have to play them three times in four weeks they
They all of a sudden scare me the most it’s so hard it’s so hard to beat the same team three times in a season more or less three times in a month it’s crazy it it’s it that’s what makes me nervous yeah do we maybe we should just

This down here for you guys real quick look at that I’m going to break this down here a lot of people probably oh Bo you have the lines at number three you are a Slappy no I’m just a little realistic here Cowboys lost eagles lost three straight if you guys look at the
Bengals Bengals right now are on a three- game win streak I’ll start from 10 and go up to one they’re on a three- game win streak right now they beat the Vikings 27- 24 I had to move them in the top 10 they were just out last week
Browns even with backup quarterbacks hey the Browns are finding a way to win games I don’t I don’t care who they’re playing they’re finding a way and they’re sitting there at nine and five Joe Flo Joe FL vet the vet when you have a vet in there man off the couch yes and
That def you have that defense in a veteran quarterback you can win some football games and they’re they have nine wins already one win away from double digits um number eight this is a big one fellas my Buffalo Bills man they made their way back in and they I mean
They they dominated the Cowboys the Cowboys I have them at number five they dominated the Cowboys so I had to put them in there number seven uh the Chiefs where did I have the chiefs last week I had them at I had them at seven last
Week so I just I kept them the same I know they beat the Patriots um I just didn’t exactly the reason to keep them the same they beat the Patriots Yeah I didn’t know where to put them to be honest um number six this is the big

Have to put put them to in my opinion at least right now you have to put them under these 10 and four teams the Dolphins Cowboys Lions just because you lose three straight games I get it’s tough teams um but when you lose three straight games like when the 49ers did

The Lions the Lions just moved up to me some teams lost some teams didn’t look great Lions moved up they dominated like a 30 point or 20 point win moved them up Ravens number two obviously dominant and then obviously number one San Francisco 49ers number one the ners baby the ners

Than yours um let’s it we got the Miami Dolphins at number three let me just make sure I I sent this in um to the Woodward Knights should be in there cool cool um so I have the Dolphins at three the Cowboys at four and I have
That well I’ll get to the Lions next Cowboys at four I have the Cowboys at four I think they’ve proven they’re they’re they’re so good at home and I think they they have a sample size this season where they’ve proven they’re one of the better teams
In the league I I put them and the Dolphins and the lions and now the Eagles kind of in a similar category of of they are all uh splitting hairs with how good they are why I put the Miami Dolphins there is is the ceiling of their offense their their defense is
Improving and I really like that but we’ve seen it and again it hasn’t been against all the best teams I still have concerns about the Dolphins just as I do cowboys lions and Eagles but when their offense is rolling they are electric um they got to have Tyreek though they got
To have their guys healthy they’re they’re fun to watch and the Dallas as number four it was hard putting them ahead of the Lions but the Lions at number five which was up one spot from number six last week uh I just don’t think I I don’t think oh where’s my not
