Play well this past weekend um like the perspective like he had 209 yards in one touchdown if that’s a Gino Smith game we’d be like another me effort from Gino Smith right there so Gino definitely an upgrade for the pass catchers in that offense against that very shaky Titan

Secondary yep all right then let’s dive into Thursday night football guys second to last one that’s right that’s right Jets Browns next week the last one though what’s the over under on that game going to be 31 31 and a it’ll be pretty low pretty low yeah pry low

Although the Browns are playing good a good offense all of a sudden Joe Flaco FL oh well done Jo FL crushing it Joe Flo uh let’s talk Saints and RS Chris olve I think going to return in this one guys missed week 15 he’s been dealing

With an ankle injury but he is good to go for this week over the last five games field jates he is wide receiver 10 in fantasy points per game how do you f feel about this Saints wide receiving core with Chris olve coming back pretty darn good he’s wide receiver 13 for me

Daniel so he will be inside your lineups tonight he is healthy it seems like the Saints had a very specific plan with Chris olve as it pertained to that ankle injury between last Sunday and today right they kind of understood that if you gave it a go this past Sunday you

Might not not not only be able to finish the game on Sunday but also be at risk for not playing on Thursday if you have some sort of recurrence so Chris olve practicing in full I know it’s a Thursday night game so not really practicing but he is good to go and it’s

A good matchup as well this Rams team has played much first gear than we anticipated defensively this season but they are still a very inexperienced secondary should be a nice night for Chris olve who by the way has been of the most heavily targeted receivers when

He has been on the field this season Ram secondary giving up the second most fantasy points to wide receivers over the last five weeks field J so I don’t know if that’s going to continue but at least gives you some reason for op it should help a who’s cleared either 100

Yards or scored in five straight and it’s 226 yards per game that the Rams are giving up to opposing wide outs um I have a stat that I thought I think we’re all in on Chris LA right he probably got you here he’s been fantastic despite whether he’s dealing with an injury or

Dealing with an illness or or bad well that’s the point that’s this is exactly I wanted to contextualize that point and I think they’re going to despite the money that was moved around have some conversations about Derek Carr uh this spring and summer Chris olve ranks first

At the position in air yards and also first at the position in unrealized air yards tells you all you need to know you know what’s funny is we we give Mike some flak when he drops stats of that nature sometimes because we’re at the point of the Season where it’s like

People are like yeah you know what take your air yards and shut right because they just want fantasy points they don’t care about aards right we want points because it’s the semifinals of our fantasy football leagues but yes it’s too good he’s too good is Chris olve to

Bench him but he is the only Saints wide receiver that I would be considering tonight rased sh had a good opportunity we thought this past weekend to cash in and he had just three catches for 36 yards so I think because of Derek Carr sort of uneven season yep and just the

Fact that Chris olve is the clear star in this wide receiver room and the fact that When the Saints get inside the 10 yard line they have several other options who are more prominent than the wide receivers not named Chris olve it just oppresses the ceiling for guys like

Shahed like I don’t even know it’s GNA be available for them Keith Kirkwood or Marquez Callaway right like they have some throwback names that are currently on that wide receiver crew one of the guys we don’t have questions about is Alvin chimra he is a top five running

Back he has double digit fantasy points in every single game this season he missed the first three games of the year being suspended in spite of the fact that he missed the first three games guys he still leads all running backs and targets he has 11 more targets than

Christian mcaffrey that’s he is the only running back with a 20% Target share on the season averaging over seven targets per game and over six receptions per contest he’s a locket in starter Alvin Kamar it’s like if you give Derek Carr a checkdown option as efficient and

Talented as alanar it’s like putting an egg and cheese sandwich in front of my face after drinking well of course I’m going to eat W did Tyler did Tyler do that for you like did he make you a sandwich this morning Tyler him the sh

Oh oh oh I see what you’re saying no I had like a banana and a Gatorade oh that was my college go-to after a long night um yes well said though um halvin K here’s a little trivia okay what do you think his lowest finish is I guess this

Isn’t trivia this is just whatever what’s his lowest finish so far this season finish as in fantasy points or as in like he finish as running back this running back this what you just said the second part probably I’m gonna say running back 28 I was going to say like

14 RB 19 N he has been a top 20 running back every week every single week every week you know coming into the season I talked about how with Alvin Camero one of my concerns for cimo was all right hey you know like with chimra he just

Has no big play Upside anymore and how is that going to translate into fantasy value and how about this Alvin chra is averaging 3.9 yards per T the second worst in his career wow he’s averaging 6.6 yards per reception tied for the worst in his career here is the answer

You big dumb dumb field is going to have the best volume of anybody in fantasy football I mean at least as far as running backs in the receiving game are concerned so that is how he has thrived he has been an inefficient player on a per attempt basis and yet because the

Volume is so astronomical Alvin chra is a top five fantasy back this week this is why field when you and I start a band chasing volume is going to be the name of chasing volume and unrealized air yards yeah unrealized a yards play the tambourine do I get to play the

Tambourine on that one okay sounds like a plan of me all right let’s talk can I just say one last thing about the Saints tonight sure is that there’s going to be a touchdown scored by the Saints tonight and that bothers you yeah I know where you’re going because it’s going to be

The king of some like the person that no one is starting last week was two Joan Johnson and one Kei jimy grah oh Jimmy Jim did you guys know um Jimmy Graham play played uh basketball did you guys know that about oh I have not heard that

No never wait okay I’m serious when like last week like in college and high school too I think that’s why he’s really good at like boxing out oh wow okay this all makes a whole lot more sense maybe I will adjust my rankings after the podcast but yes Jimmy Graham

Who has four touchdowns now this season four go I believe the longest one is like eight yards and how many targets how many I think it’s like eight targets six catches four touchdowns so whether it’s him or Keith Kirkwood or Joan Johnson or um like like kin Saunders who’s a

Defensive tackle someone’s going to score an annoying touchdown tonight for the Saints right that one down and then tweet at us seven targets four touchdowns seven targets four touchdowns that might be the most efficient season in NFL history yeah that’s why Mike couldn’t come in today he’s he actively

Is broken he’s trying to figure out how to be able to put all this stuff together is Mike Vel that’s right with what 12 catches for 12 touchdowns in his NFL career field I’m going to recuse myself from this next one cuz I had a a board bet about Matthew Stafford last

Week and I would I would be appreciative of your perspective though yeah here’s the here is the this is the debate that is going on in my head with Matthew Stafford it’s uh very clear to me it’s one Matthew Stafford um vas is a very good defense tonight the Saints team

That is where it is right now still in the NFC South playoff hunt because the NFC South stinks and because they’re playing good defense however Matthew Stafford is playing really really well right now like he is locked in he has been for a month straight he has 18 plus fantasy

Points and four straight including 23 in three of those last four we also just watched Matthew Stafford in what was a terrific matchup and it kind of highlighted some of the potential limitations for a player like Matthew Stafford he has zero and I mean zero rushing upside right you might be able

To say he has negative rushing upside he negative yard here I was going to like I wouldn’t be shocked I’m not saying that he does I can look at like more KNE downs and rushing exactly that’s I was thinking so he has to he has to throw multiple touchdowns

We also know that the Rams have one of the work heaviest backs in the NFL this year which is Karen Williams y so I have him as quarterback 16 despite my confidence in the way that Matthew Stafford is playing the Avenues to a 25-point game are just narrower than

They are for guys who are playing a lot worse football than him I think that tracks I’m also a little bit concerned that he was sacked three times versus washingon without sweat without young and we just saw the Saints now it’s a different situation but sacked Tommy DeVito seven times have

You seen the Giants sack numbers with DeVito under Center are they large they must be astronomical it’s like record setting I mean it won’t end up being record setting because he’s only played what probably half a season by the time it’s all said and done but yeah it’s

Been remarkable how much different teams are when they’re facing the Giants versus when they are facing everybody else um yes um yeah so it’s yes the Saints defense can get after it and that Rams offense has dealt with you know Rob havenstein’s been banged up they’re

Right tackle so um I’ve got him as quarterback 16 Daniel you’re at 19 Liz you’re at 18 so we all kind of see him in a similar light it doesn’t feel good though field because when you he’s playing better than the 19th best quarterback in the NFL ex and that’s the

Point where we’re at we’re like right now when you look at this there’s that emotional conversation of like how do I bench a guy that’s just given me four straight weeks of what has been really good quarterback like top 10 quarterback numbers Q six for the past five weeks in

Fact that’s Mitch trabis two weeks ago had 20 plus fantasy points and played terribly yeah so like I just so just Stafford though is not going to give you like trabis that’s not a guarantee but MIT trabis rushing for 25 yards and a touchdown is like yeah kind of makes

Sense right Matthew Stafford probably hasn’t rushed for 25 yards and a touchdown in years I guess maybe maybe NFL game yeah 19 carries 70 yards on the season oh man he’s been cooking I shorted him a quite a fair amount on his rushing yards for what it’s worth

Jackson points out our producer Jackson points out the Tommy DeVito at Syracuse in 2019 was the most sacked quarterback in the country so it’s a Tommy deito thing apparently yeah it’s a thing all right so understanding we are likely out on Matthew Stafford unless you have no other options to stream at quarterback

Field when you look at the rest of these Rams Kiren puka and Cooper cup they’re all lineup locks right yeah kirn’s easy he means rb2 on everybody’s board the volume is insane the passing game utilization is good he’s playing like 85% of the snaps Ronnie Rivers could be

Elevated from IR today maybe that takes away just a tiny bit of work for kyen Williams it also might just take away a tiny bit of work for like instead not kyen Williams but um like other running backs on this roster right which I guess it’s really just like Kiron Williams and

Who else is getting work for them these days I don’t know I’m looking it up right now I mean it’s it’s like it’s very narrow right now in terms of guys are actually getting upy Freeman I guess likey Freeman yeah so it’s probably Royce Freeman getting like a little bit

Less work rather than KY Williams taking work away but I’ve got him as arb2 I got Cooper cup as wide receiver 17 we have seen really like a a Resurgence over the past three games he’s got 25 plus fantasy points in each of his past three games he’s got eight plus Targets in

Each of his past three games y um I might have been like a hair too soon to say that like Cooper cup appears to have lost it because while he’s probably not quite at the level he was in 2021 well going out on a limb there by saying that

He has looked better over the past few weeks hauled in that 61 yard beautiful touchdown catch last week I wonder if those are actually kind of the low-key hardest catches to make I think I saw after the fact that like it was uh he had 16.9 yards of Separation which was

Like the most open a receiver has been on any play this year in the NFL in which he was also targeted and it was like he was so wide open that it’s like that ball just hangs there and what was actually like 1 second before felt like

10 minutes like I’m thinking about this one way too much if I drop it I’m going to be the biggest you know I’m going to be a total like The Goat um in the wrong way and uh he caught it anyways because he’s Cooper cup that that touchdown

Though the 61 62 yard touchdown was interesting because he only had short gains for the whole first half just a lot of Dink and dunking which again against Washington’s front is not great the fact that kirn Williams has had 22 car targets since week 11 is not great

And I think also is another reason nervous about Matt Stafford’s protection um what is interesting if you look at puka nakua and Cooper cup is first of all pukan NOOA is still even after last week and his limited production the only player to have managed six plus targets

Every week this season in which he was right you have to start him I know people are going to be upset because he was limited to what like 50 yards or something but uh he drew eight targets last Sunday same number as cup he uh also was I believe he ran the same

Number of routes and the pretty much every play number ofs you know I think he ran three fewer routes and recorded the same number of snaps I’ve got him as wide receiver 21 I also think it’s important for those that are watching the YouTube stream right now that they

Look at the head shot that we have that’s what you were referencing and if you’re wondering why pukaa went in the fifth round you have to look at this head shot because now he’s got his Samson hair hair this is okay right here like this is like volume this is like

Bruno Mars style hair right here right he has the same hair now remember when Herber grew his hair out and got really good puku has now got that long flow and he is one of the greatest rookie receivers ever no to the fellas because a lot of men think it’s the beard that

Month he is quarterback 28 averaging 12.3 fantasy points per game what are you doing with him in week 16 is it time to drop him and just find someone else are you just benching him and grabbing a streamer what are you how are you approaching him I’m not starting him

Right he’s outside of my top 15 so even in a really deep League he’s not a starter for me I don’t think it makes sense to drop anyone in week 16 right now though right like you’re G to stash because someone gets hurt uh there could be a reconfiguring but I think tua’s

Major issue outside of being dragged into production because of Tyreek Hill is the fact that like we talked about with Matthew Stafford he really offers nothing in the rushing game and that’s capping his ceiling so if you don’t get one of these big volume passing efforts then you don’t get nice fantasy

Production you mentioned 28th over the past month Daniel amongst quarterbacks yeah he has been 23rd or worse in three of the past four weeks gross he has four total touchdowns in those last four games as well one two zero and one passing touchdown however he played really well

Last week 21 of 24 the fantasy production was not there but he was terrific against the Jets an awesome defense so my confidence is a little bit higher In Tua this week I’ve got him as quarterback 11 so amongst the players that I think will be considered streaming options Tua is behind Baker

Mayfield for me as an example but besides that I’m feeling pretty good about Tua because I think this Dolphins team comes to play at home on Sunday against a a Cowboys team that I’m not sure what we are getting out of them on the road as we know their Road woes have

Been real this season as to the conversation about whether you should be dropping Tua or not if you feel more like Liz than you do me about his outlook for this week this is sort of like a oddly specific example but if you play in a league that has short benches

And your other quarterback besides Tua is going to start for you next week because absent health concerns you’re not just looking at this week you’re saying also look ahead to next week to know yeah like your defense would be one that I would be saying like all right I

Could drop if if I have a second quarterback that I am not going to play this week and the only way that I would play him next week is if my current starter gets hurt you could use that spot if you think there’s a great matchup for a defense next week because

Other than the 49ers who were in a bad spot this week themselves I guess the Ravens who are also in a bad spot this week there haven’t been that many defenses that you’re like every single week we must play them the Cowboys who were that defense early have turned into

A much different Fantasy Defense you know the Jets are great defense but some weeks their offense just gives them zero support so they get blasted like last week and a team like Buffalo that we thought could be a great Fantasy Defense coming in this season has not been that
