I was in the front row next to the tee this past weekend at the PNC Championship over at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando. After Tiger Woods teed up his ball before his drive he puts the clubhead down near the ball and accidentally knocks it off the tee. As all golfers know, this is when your fellow golfer will always chime in to let you know “that’s one”. When I saw this happen to Tiger, I knew that if I didn’t speak up and point this out, I would feel like I hadn’t been a true fan. And when I did, its subtle, but it almost does look like he smiles a bit when he hears me say it but pulls it back into “Tiger”-mode before hitting an absolute bomb of a drive. He’s back ladies and gentleman. And if you aren’t sure what I mean by, “that’s one”, watch this video by St Andre Golf featuring Tiger Woods in a similar hilarious scenario: https://youtu.be/2rt2t_BHnYc
