Britain’s Got Talent EXCLUSIVE – David Walliams claims he is going to SUE Simon Cowell

David Walliams has claimed he is going to sue his friend and fellow Britain’s Got Talent judge Simon Cowell after he crashed a buggy while driving them to work.

In a scene set to air during Saturday’s episode of Britain’s Got Talent, Simon, 60, takes the wheel of a golf buggy while transporting the judges to the BGT theatre.

However disaster strikes when the brakes on the buggy fail and it goes careering into another buggy, while David, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon are on board.

Alesha notices that all of the judges have pedals to power the bike, as she quizzes Simon on whether he had found where the brake for the vehicle was.

However Simon replies and says: ‘Yeah, it’s not working.’

Moments later the group go crashing into another buggy and David shouts: ‘Whiplash! I’m going to sue you for a $billion!’, while holding onto his neck.

During Saturday’s show, a junior choir who sing an original song in memory of the fallen war heroes wow the judges in the next round of auditions.

In a teaser clip from the upcoming show, the D Day Juniors leave Simon, Amanda, Alesha and David, speechless.

The war time vocal group, set-up by BGT alumni the D Day Darlings, sing Pass it on- which they say is about passing the message forward and making new songs about remembrance.

As the lead vocalists sing to the audience, black and white images of soldiers who fought in the war appear in the background.

The group, made up of 20 members aged between 6 and 16 from the Midlands, wear school uniform and carry book bags.

Referring to the Great Britain’s history, lyrics include: ‘Sitting in the classroom learning history of the past. On turning the pages, I can’t believe my eyes.

‘Now I know how you saved us, want to shine a light.

‘Thank you for everything. Everything you’ve done. Pass it on. Pass it on. Pass it on.’

D Day Darlings made in through to the final in 2018, but lost out to comedian, Lost Voice Guy.

Now the group appear to want a second chance as they set up the junior choir under the same theme in memory of those who served Britain at times of crisis.

Earlier this week, Amanda confirmed Britain’s Got Talent’s live shows will return to screens later this year.

The TV personality, 49, claimed bosses have told her to keep ‘early autumn’ free in the hopes filming can continue for the current series, which was postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Speaking to HuffPost UK, the mother-of-two said: ‘All of the main judges have been given a date to hold in early autumn to see if it works live.

‘But we would never do it without an audience because we’ve always said the British public is the fifth judge.

‘So we can’t do it without them – it would be no fun without them! We’ll see what happens, but we are planning to do it this year.’

A source added the show could return in September but progress will depend on government guidelines and advice.

Britain’s Got Talent continues Saturday 8pm on ITV.
