This is by far the best way to read greens for any level of golfer for any singular plain slope see how far left or right you would miss the putt if you were to hit it straight for this putt if I was to hit it straight I would miss it

On the low side where the x is meaning I would have to play it a cup out left where the O is when you get back behind the ball take the difference from when you would hit it straight and move it to the other side and that’s how much it breaks so

For here I know it’s going to miss a cup right so I’m going to it a cup left I don’t even look at the hole I just pick that spot and make a nice smooth stroke right at it the key to reading greens is making sure your speed matches your line
