  1. The boiling frog is an apologue describing a frog being slowly boiled alive. The premise is that if a frog is put suddenly into boiling water, it will jump out, but if the frog is put in tepid water which is then brought to a boil slowly, it will not perceive the danger and will be cooked to death. The story is often used as a metaphor for the inability or unwillingness of people to react to or be aware of sinister threats that arise gradually rather than suddenly.

  2. I love watching Jon but it won’t be humongous..PGA will continue and Rahm will be another greedy exhibition golfer, which will mean nothing IRL

  3. PGA wants to make a deal with Saudi Arabian “LIV” tour? Same country( 12 of the 13 hijacker’s were from Saudi’s Arabia) that killed 100’s of Americans? So sad it’s could happen.
    God bless our 1st responders.

  4. In other words…. You want guys to believe that giving up hundreds of millions of dollars is worth It so they can win torey pynes 😂 complete idiots only believe that…..

  5. Jay Monahan needs to resign. He created this hostile "Us vs Them" atmosphere and things are going very bad for the PGA Tour.

  6. JW comments do not show an in depth understanding of the LIV business model. Rahm is going for equity in a team and the PGA cannot provide it. If anything the PGA business model as a non profit is not sustainable. No major is going to garner an audience with 3 players of any stature trading wins in the next 3-5 years. The majors will soon no longer pay attention to the PGA and go their own way. Note the Rahm deal precedes the merger deadline. This was done to mute any counter deals negotiated by the PGA. I think they call this brinkmanship. In poker LIV is calling the PGA hand. If Rahm does join LIV look for more later. The PGA is soon to be in a position whereby LIV will have more say in operations whether they like it or not. If I were the OWGR staff, I would be updating my resume. LIV will be assigned sedes like in Tennis in lieu of ranking points as a go around. Old saying is "follow the money" and it won't be speculation anymore. Guys, the PGA is a 501(c)3 and does not issue stock so cannot sell equity. It is that simple.

  7. Maybe Johnson Wagner could have retired early if the PGA paid him more for his 3 tour wins. Now he's stuck doing some lame ass Golf Network gigs talking about people making real money. Sounds like spite there ole Waggy boy shoulda gotten paid more hoe.

  8. The PGA tour do not own golf. They have to come to the table with LIV , or else they will be beaten into a pulp. They simply cannot compete going forward. JM has been a disaster in trying to play all sides. Managers like that get removed. And don’t forget the big announcement. Callaway golf will move over with him. They will continue their sponsorship into the LIV tour. That is enormous. I repeat, the PGA tour does not own the game.

  9. Rahm would not turn down 600 million and to say thet his love for the game would over rides that is crazy. He will not turn that kind of cash down. LIV & PGA need to come to an understanding, that's pretty obvious.

  10. The truth is that the players are becoming more and more greedy for money. There is almost zero honour and loyalty to the fans, game…The players crossing over to LIV always say they are doing it for themselves and their family. You insult our intelligence when you say this. Anyway no one believes this garbage. It's all about money.

When you get young guys saying they like the LIV format, which Ernie Els right called circus golf, then these players are definitely clowns.

The more these guys earn the more the insatiable lust and greed for more money!

Also disturbing is that commentators and fellow players cannot call out the defectors to LIV! Barring one or two players like Ernie Els, Fred Couples… most sit on the fence as can be seen in this interview and the one done with Rose and Day.

The sport is no longer about the fans. Greed rules!

  11. USGA, OWGR, and R&A can make a ruling that the present system of 4 day 72 hole competition structure will remain.

Major championships should also add OWGR will also be considered instead of flat out entry of the Major winners after two years of winning a Major.
