  1. A great list and next years going to be a interesting one for Luke stoltman as his baby arrives very soon and that will take priority.
Happy Christmas 🎅🏼 to the loz and Liz family 🙏🏻🇦🇺

  2. I think the top 3 are a given, the best performing athletes throughout the season. I think there is still a gap between Evan and Tom and Mitch. Tom & Mitch can have a bad event and still end up on the podium. Look at the Shaw Classic Tom didn’t score any points on the first event but then went on to win 3 of the next 5 events finishing on the podium. At the Arnold’s losing 1 event from the line up helped Mitch as day 2 Tom was on fire. All that said there could only be 1 person at No 1 and that had to be Mitch, he’s podiumed in every event, for a whole season that is remarkable. 2024 will be interesting with Thor and Martin returning but I still think it will be fought out between Tom and Mitch. Toms overhead and deadlift have improved massively and with Atlas stones pretty much a banker he will be tough to beat. If anyone can though it’s Mitch, the man is a machine but more importantly he is very calculated and clever, usually finishes top 3 in every event. Consistency is key and Mitch has that over Tom. 2024 will be a hell of a season, roll on the Arnold’s 👍🇬🇧 I think the special mentions were good, Luke Stoltman is coming to the end of his career, he still finished in the top 10 of WSM, and just recently if he hadn’t fumbled the Atlas stones (very rare mistake with Tacky) he would have won a Giants live, I think this will be his last season, I would love to see him podium in one competition this year as he bows out focusing on being a father, a great ambassador for the sport👍🇬🇧

  3. I personally don't think Bobby should be in the Top 10. I do think Thomas Evans should be top 10. Bobby competed less times than Evans.

So a wee bias there (just my opinion)

  4. Here's my list.

    10. Matt Ragg – not competed much, but one hell of a first year
    9. Brian Shaw – brilliant performance at his own show, but Worlds was poor compared to most, and he just hasn't competed enough
    8. Trey Mitchell – I've put him pretty low mostly because he has not had a big podium all year. I hope he can come back and end his 4th place streak
    7. Oleksii Novikov – amazing start of the year, but the injury really messed him up
    6. Pavlo Kordiyaka – he's had a great year, Europe's, World's, SCL. A few inconsistent performances, but overall amazing
    5. Bobby Thompson – Bobby goes under the radar, but his performances at Worlds, Arnolds and Rogue were brilliant. If anything I wish he'd compete more
    4. Mateusz Kieliszkowski – placing so high because if we are going off event wins, Mateusz is the king. When he wins an event, he wins big (his Iron Bull was insane)
    3. Evan Singleton – such an improvement this year, now he needs to get himself on the podiums at the Big Four
    2. Tom Stoltman – Arnold's was a mess, but the rest of the year has been amazing for Tom. He got a great win in Glasgow, and losing to Mitch multiple times this year will hopefully be the kick up the arse he needs
    1. Mitch Hooper – obviously

  5. Lot of love for Bobby genuinely think in terms of pure strength alone his a top 5 athlete just needs to sort the other events out, top 3 right themselves big up Evan and Big Tommy but Mitch’s year has to go down as one of the best ever in the sport 3 1sts and a 2nd in the big 4 is unfathomable. Great list!

  6. To me Martins Martins Lici will be the one to watch out for as he has done this before beating Thor and many others by quite a margin. but this time there is Mitch and outsiders with Tom that will be there.

  7. Luke needs to keep back into form. He definitely had a down season, his last two events were much better tho, and I expect to see him bounce back this year.

  8. Mitch hooper had such a dominant year, his consistency reminds me of Mariusz but he’s bigger and stronger

2024 for strongman will be insane!
