  1. Men's football is almost never played anymore. The Army-Navy game is the purest game around and it only happens once a year.

  2. I want the option to come back to the power 5. As a Duke fan I’d love for our team to hire Jeff Monken or Troy Calhoun. Hell, even Ken Niumatalolo

  3. This offense is literally built for any team to run. My high school transitioned to the triple option my senior year of high school and we went from back to back losing seasons to going to the state championship and 2 running backs getting division one scholarships. For such a simple offense it was almost impossible for anybody to stop, even when they knew what was coming.

  4. some of these schools need to bring it back. they were actually competitive, now they go 3-9 every season

  5. I'm a Husker fan and the absolute worst team we had between 1970 and 2001 would slaughter the best teams we had from 2017-23
I wish Johnson was our coach

  6. That 2014 match between Georgia Tech and at that time, first year FBS program Georgia Southern was legendary.

    42-38 final.

  7. As a Virginia tech fan that watched a LOT of VT vs GT Thursday night games. Bud Foster could never figure out the triple option. He had to know it was coming. But every meeting GT would score 2 td’s off of the defense over committing to taking out the qb. And just a quick toss to the half back. And boom 75 yard TD.

  8. Never forget Tech taking a Dump on Mississippi state in the Orange bowl. I was there and the State fans really thought they’re were going to steam roll them.

  9. Harding University, playing in the D2 National Championship, runs this offense. They recruited my son to be QB, but he didn't want to only run the ball. He ended up excelling as a dual threat QB at the D3 level and never regretted it.

  10. Only works in modern football at all because you only have one week a year to prepare for it. Kirby in his second year made sure to practice it in fall and on the off week.
