You have my full attention, thank you for your videos!👍
Sm9 for the win!
Time to retire the SM7s. Interested to see 😊
I loved my Cleveland zipcores but vokey just had so many more options with bounce and grind so ended up switching to them simply because i can get the exact bounce and grind i want stock. They were also $30 cheaper
guys you need to review the new cobra snakebyte! they make similar claims to the cleveland where it makes it better in wet conditions, and they have cool wedge grinds like the wide low. There are not any substantial reviews on it that match it up against other wedges currently, so theres definitely a market for it, as it is a cheaper wedge than other wedges in the market currently!
Have always loved Cleveland wedges. I might be the only person on earth but, I have actually loved some of their putters as well. Short game I give Cleveland some love.🙂
No PING!?!?! 👎🏼
Torn between MG4, RTX and the new Pings when they're available
Currently playing SM9s and I love them, but I am a tinkering tw4t.
Can we get a “Road to Scratch” series for Mikey? Dudes putting in work and it shows!
What would be the modern (groove conforming) equivalent wedge to the Nike Forged 60 degree wedge?
Thanks, guys. I really like these best of videos.
Smithworks wedges have been performing very well in UK YouTube reviews against several top wedges. Not sure if you've seen much of these in North America?
Mikey needs a DeWiz for partial wedge control.
Mizuno for me
In my experience based on availability, the Callaway S grind is their most common offering and it just isn’t great for anyone looking for any degree of versatility! Cleveland and TaylorMade have great offerings at great prices I find. Those Mizunos are beautiful but definitely smaller than a lot of golfers need. Lots of Vokey SM8s available out there in brand new condition for discounted prices 👀
No miura?
So confused here
You are calling it the best of, but you left out the best wedges. Sugar Daddy II has already destroyed everything in your previous tests.
No sugar daddy?
I used to play mg3s and now I play rtx tour rack raws and they are by far the best wedges I've played from every aspect
I find it hard to believe that any differences in launch & spin are from the wedge itself and not the operator. I firmly believe a wedge is a wedge (especially if forged). Maybe there are different coatings for improved spin in the wet, or differences in grind to change turf interaction. But I can't see there being a statistically significant difference for the tests here which are done in a dry range setting off artificial turf.
I got last years Cleveland wedges off the rack and they are fantastic (had shop credit). I do plan on going more of a custom route next time around because I really enjoy them!
Would you say that the shaft plays a more critical role than the wedge head ? (Assuming the head designs are all very similar) Are you testing these with the same shaft? Thx!
ignoring the price I think "artisan" wedges are probably some of the best out there. I play haywood wedges and love them, hope they start to get more love
Must say I do like Ian’s and Mike’s relationship they have a good chemistry used to think Mikey was not as good but as his confidence grows on camera really enjoying watching
Why no Bettinardi HLX 5.0 wedges. They don’t get the credit they deserve.
No PING Glides!?….I'd argue they are some of the best wedges
I tried some CBX2 and Edison wedges, I ended up sticking with my good old Scratch wedges
Seeing all these toe partial shots from Mikey wouldn't full toe head help him? Not knowing his open face specifics. It's not shame to use one.
I have the hi toe mg3 copper, love them.
I understand that you cannot try all… but not Ping?
