I like to play with an open stance as I feel more comfortable with freedom to turn and get through the ball. Recently I have been struggling with the driver would this work with an open stance? Will give it a try. Another good video guys 👍🏻
Might try this the next time I play. Might nd a few old golf balls though as I think if I “give up control” I will slice the hell out of it 😂

I’m a huge compressor of the ball which means hands forward. 180mph ball speed means miss left with driver can be huge or trying to keep it square can leave the face open. Am going to try this for sure. Thanks guys.

Mo Norman? Just saying. Swing looks really good but the setup looks as uncomfortable as can be. I wonder how long before he moves on to the next thing?

How do you hit a draw this way?
I have always played driver this far forward as well. One day on the range a teaching pro came up to my swing coach and questioned my ball position. My swing coach said, "he hits it further and straighter than anyone I coach. There's no way we are changing that". I actually play the ball fairly forward with even my irons because it helps me get to my lead side vs hanging back. I think most golfer can benefit from moving the back up a bit.

I am a single digit hcp and the driver is by far the worse club in my bag, maybe 35% fwy. I have been trying to change my swing to do anything to get the ball in play with some level of confidence. I always felt comfortable kind of swinging into and across the ball with a fluid feel (not over the top). I tried this set up for the last 2 rounds and have more success then any other change in the past and it has given me a new level of confidence when on the tee. It is like you said, just get up and smash the ball! It's weird but it works! Thanks!

Tee is up at your heel and stop the stupid hands ahead of the head. No need for the realignment. Useless setup that will screw more people up than help!
Just hit my longest drive doing this. Thank you. And I was able to hit a draw which iv never done! Even the fade drives were long enough.

Great video. Shows some good outside the standard way of setting up that works. I honestly have the same issue. My setup is very similar, but ball flight has been too low and jacked up spin. Going to try more of a fwd ball placement with higher tee height. Have same loft on my club and I get lowering the lie to open the face a little. Well done and thanks for sharing.
I did this the last time I played. Got a lot of distance and eliminated the right side of the fairway. Excellent tip!
