Here are 13 – low impact power exercises aimed to improve CHS.
So, it’s important to include some power/speed based exercises into your exercise programme, whether you are a golfer or not!
When performing these exercises, its important to have intent to move quickly (even if you feel you aren’t).
Not only can this help improve your CHS, its great for activities of daily living too, as power decreases as we age.
These are some joint friendlier options, with med balls, and dumbbells and a golf club.
Choose 4-5 of these exercises and perform them 2x per week. Perform 2 sets of 6 reps.
Use a light ball to begin with (about 3kg).
