Ludvig Åberg on his meteoric rise from Texas Tech to the Ryder Cup

With 2023 nearly in the books, Ludvig Åberg looks back on an incredible year – that he began as a college student at Texas Tech, and ended as a PGA Tour & Ryder Cup winner – with Smylie Kaufman. Ludvig discusses his formative years learning the game of golf in Sweden, a caddie change that he thinks will position him well for major championship success, and which of those majors he is most looking forward to in 2024. As Ludvig heads home for the holidays, he closes the show by sharing a uniquely Swedish Christmas tradition.

  1. The European players seem far more grounded, more articulate, more interesting and fortunately more normal than your average redneck, Bible thumping, Republican voting US Tour Pro.

  2. Did Charlie see the sheep head meal Viktor Hovland posted an image of as an instagram story recently? New Hulme family few-weeks-before-Christmas tradition maybe??!!

  3. I have this image of a 95 year old Smylie sitting in his rocking chair and still trying to get validation for his 1st hole 2023 Ryder Cup call from those around him! 😉😉😁 😁
