Reliving The War takes a look at the WWF vs WCW Monday Night War that took place during the mid 90s to early 2000s. With WWF Raw is War and WCW Monday Nitro on at the same time, fans had to choose a channel and pick a side. Reliving The War aims to cover every episode of Raw and Nitro that took place during this time period to see which company was really the best.

David Flair attends Nitro this week and he gets welcomed to the arena by Arn Anderson. David’s Father, the Nature Boy Ric Flair, has a big announcement to make and many are speculating that Flair is going to retire tonight on Nitro. In the main event Scott Steiner & Buff Bagwell take on Goldberg & Rick Steiner.

On the WWF channel, Vince McMahon is not happy with how things turned out last week and he decides to fire Kane. Chyna gets Kane another oppurtunity however, all the Big Red Machine has to do is defeat Stone Cold Steve Austin in the Raw main event. Elsewhere on the show Jim Ross makes his Raw return, Road Dogg gets a WWF Championship match against The Rock, and The Undertaker reignites his rivalry with Mankind.

  1. Unless I missed it, I'm so disappointed you didn't catch/mention Rocco trying to avoid being in a backstage shot before being crucified lol

  2. Why was Paul Wight not wrestling on Raw following his debut? Was he in the midst of a non-compete clause period from WCW – or did the Fed have no immediate plans for him?

  3. So, Bam Bam went from possible Goldberg Killer and World Champ to midcard loser

  4. I always found it weird that despite all the build, Road Dogg was in the IC title match at Mania and Billy in the Hardcore title match

  5. Nooooooooo.
    The unthinkable has happened.
I have caught up on the "Reliving the War" series.
    😢😢😢

Dont get me wrong, I am happy to have a new weekly show to look forward to.
That said, when I started 1.5ing these 6 weeks ago, I didnt think I'd actually watch all of these…..or at least so quickly.

    Thanks Bios.
Edit: its been a blast and you've done a great job with this series my man.

  6. And with that, after listening to/watching this show for a couple months straight, I've finally made it to the most recent episode! What a wild ride.

  7. Finally, we get to the turning point of the War, where WWF officially defeated WCW for good. The debut of the Mean Street Posse.

  8. To be fair Austin did the JOB on numerous occasions around this time to keep the story going and I firmly believe it was he and the Rock that won the war

  9. I honestly did not know public enemy had this much tv time in wwe and had a feud with the brood. Wwe made it seem they were only there for one night with the APA

  10. I'm sorry for being a McDunmy, where do we send photos of the shirts we buy? Thank YOU in advance! 😅 🐶

  11. This is great. At this point I was fully invested in WWF and had given up on WCW. However, watching this back it’s just to sad to see that WCW still had the talent and the match quality to be the better show. Sucks. I’m not a Hogan hater but he kinda sucks and seems to be resting on his past. Just not interesting. Hall I totally see why he is is underrated and I liked him at the time but even more now.

  12. Blackman would have mad the karate competition going on in WCW. I feel he would have elevated it to another level. No promos, all business.
