The 2023 US Open main draw runs from August 28 – September 10 in New York City at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The tournament takes place for the 143rd time and is the fourth and final Grand Slam of the year. Last year, Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz and Poland’s Iga Swiatek claimed the men’s and women’s singles titles. It was both players’ first US Open title, with Alcaraz winning his first Grand Slam title and Swiatek winning her third Grand Slam title. This year, at the US Open, we’re set for another historic tournament as the world’s best tennis players head to New York. I was so stressed watching the score change. I couldn't see the match live, but looking at the stats I was surprised Ruud was really winning this game.

Simply hitting hard isn't going to cut it at that level. Ruud had the finesse to see the game off Nava.
Ruud makes a fabulous and stupendous impression with his form and quality on the pitch. I am confident that he will keep progressing into the upcoming rounds of this grand slam tournament as a finalist from the last year.
I would bet major tournaments that show the winner in the thumbnail (which is most of them) miss a significant number of views from people who see said winner and don't bother.
