  1. The Majors are the only tournaments that matter now. I wonder what American sports institution the Saudis will destroy next.

  2. Jon Rahm will now singlehandedly give the Saudis all the leverage in the world when negotiating a deal come January and that's contemptible – all because of greed!!! Jon -"It's not all about money you know. I like that the PGA is a meritocracy with a rich history and legacy. You want to have a career that you can be proud of." What a double-faced deceitful character he is…..just like Monahan!!!

  3. Your just like Ronaldo and all the other high profile footballers moving to the Middle East cos let’s face it there leagues and trophies are shite! You only went for the money!

  4. I hope they get every Major player from the PGA and Europe etc…pay them $200M each to shoot 80 or whatever, listen to music, wear shorts and party. You can forget the Tiger days of going for the green on the 18th from 210 out, over water, on a par 5; and make a memory that will last forever. Why? He didn't really get paid for that, he got like a million…peanuts. I hope Tiger joins, and I hope Jack joins and breaks a 100. You win a Major, go to LIV and collect your $200M….who would say not to that?? Except for idiot Tiger, who still thinks his 82 PGA Tour wins and 15 Majors mean anything.

  5. Oh the outrage, you cowards of the Peacock Golf world see it crumbling down more and more everyday and still have nothing more than pitiful whining because you can't control it. You block anyone who ever stands up to your crap

  6. It's a tough one for the PGA. There is no doubt that the Saudis are intent to control the game of Golf. If anyone thinks that they will do a deal where the PGA keeps all the control and get a load of money invested by PIF, that will never happen. $500million for ONE Golf player is actually laughable, and as much as people think Saudi will just throw billions around year after year, they actually won't. This is their rapid hostile takeover of Golf and if it costs them $2-3 billion to do it, then kudos to them. Interesting to see many comments celebrating Golf being bought by Saudi Arabia. The Saudi's have no real interest in growing the game of golf or it's history and traditions. It wants to diversify it's economy from Oil and controlling Golf will make them money. No other reason.

  7. Not so much on this thread, but these people I hear who are completely disgusted with LIV and players jumping ship, they mention it’s not in the spirt of the game and it’s ruining the tradition of golf etc etc, they make me laugh. Those days of golf along with the modern society we live in are gone. People get over it, who cares they get paid millions more, if it affects you so much you genuinely have a problem. Enjoy the drama, at the end of the day it is just golf (I love golf, but it does need a perspective. Peace.

  8. Both golf leagues are quite dull. Pga was entertaining 25 years ago but now I prefer watching YouTube golf.
    LIV golf is tacky.

  9. So we'll have to wait and see who Jon Rahm picks for his LIV team? How about this, who cares! Again another guy who is full of crap. You did it for the money, plain and simple! How much money do you need man? First of all, he won't play enough to stay sharp for the majors and he'll run out of time to be a player who will be remembered. Nobody talks about Bubba or Cam Smith or even Dustin Johnson anymore. Same thing will happen to Rahmbo!! Jeff Mack oh yeah and Phil who????

  10. Every single male golfer has dreamed of winning the Masters or the Open but not a single one has ever dreamed of winning a LIV tourney, and they never will. It's a joke.

  11. I love liv golf for the simple reason they are teaching the pga that you can't own a sport. This argument isn't actually about the sport it's about control and money.
