It was bizarro Sunday as some backup and beleaguered QBs came up big vs playoff hopefuls. Chris (@CSimmsQB) and Ahmed (@ahmedNBC) break it all down, including whether Patrick Mahomes has a right to be mad at the refs. Plus, a homie guesses when Ahmed will curse again. #NFL #ChrisSimmsUnbuttoned #NBCSports

Kansas City will be right back in the AFC Championship. Last night was the catalyst for real change. Come back to this post in January
I've been saying that about Cook since they drafted him. Out of college, he had good hands, runs crisp routes, has 4.4 speed and is always a mismatch. And he's great after the catch so keep going to it. It's also a great safety net when down field plays don't develop. Use him like the Bills used Thurman back in the Kelly Era. In turn it will also open up more down field plays. Never understood why Dorsey didn't take advantage of that. Dorsey didn't get booted for one game and the "12th man" issue. It was cumulative. Joe Brady is impressive. I really do wish the would run more under center play action though, and cut down on the shotgun hand-offs.
The Chiefs are legit unfun to watch this year. The receivers are a complete embarrassment and their constant deflecting from the obvious is extremely tone deaf. MVS, Toney, and Moore are not NFL quality.
The jets whooped the texans. wwtthhh.
Lamar answered that against the Colts a few years ago what are you talking about Chris?
I mean shouldn’t the chiefs be winning if they are good. Fact is they aren’t maybe P Mahommes should play more like an mvp and carry the team on his back instead of just being a mediocre qb
Buffalo beats Dallas don’t be surprised if they win the east
Well, Chris, Ravens in the 21-22 campaign, with most of the roster injured, Lamar did 4 comebacks in 4th quarter: Chiefs in Arrowhead, Colts setting a record, Vikings and Lions. And with 8-4, he got injured and could not play anymore. That year he produced 4 comebacks in the 4th quarter… i think it is inaccurate your point with Lamar.
Mahomes & Reid are right. Take away the penalty that changes the game ending and think it never happened what do you feel?
The NFL referees called the penalty correctly but ruined the game itself.
The dim lit studio cracks me up
Mahomes has removed himself from the MVP talk.
The line judge is looking down the line and when a players foot is preventing him from seeing the ball well an easy call. Pretty sure if Toney looked at the official he would have told him to take a step back. But he didn't flag flew at the snap official had no idea how the play would go nor should he. Everybody is pissed because an official made the right call, lol lol.
We gave the cowboys the blueprint on beating the eagles
it was a penalty before the play developed
Excellent explanation of the off-sides call. He was definitely off-sides. That’s it. No need for Chiefs to whine. Chiefs got major benefits from questionable calls against Bengals 🏈
My guy had a meltdown. 😂It's rough in KC right now! "Y'all woke up the wrong…"
The fact that KC is weak and Miami and Baltimore could have top seeds makes me think the SB winner comes out of the NFC. It's either going to be SF or Dallas. I do not trust Tua or Lamar in January.
Miami could lose to Dallas and Baltimore and find themselves playing for the division week 8 against Buffalo.
What are you talking about . What about the colts game ,.We have had.many games where we have come back . Great back and forth game by Lamar and Strafford. The ravens are always slow after the bye . It happened last season, the whole first half of the ravens vs bucs game we started slow and the second quarter we woke up , and what do you know we came back and won , beat Brady .
Maybe these guys, coach too, oughta' stop selling insurance, drugs, and sandwiches, and start playing as a team! Whatsamatta' they ain't makin' enough already?
Chris is severely overrating the Bears talent
It's time for my seahawks to clean house its embarrassing 0 effort from the players and coaches dk and drew where the only two that seemed like they care they suck
31:10 his numbers didnt drop off bc he fell off tho. he maintained that ~70% completion percent thru his whole career. his numbers dropped bc of Breece Hall becoming a much larger part of the offense.
For the record Lamar had a better game (statistically speaking) than Dak against a better defense (statistically speaking) than Philly
Do we need to start talking about Sneed as one of the best corners in football? Shut down diggs, ajb, Jefferson, hill and more. He draws too many penalties but gosh has he been good this year. With McDuffie it is a top 3 cb duo rn
After so many yrs of Seattle tormenting the Niners, it’s amazing to see how tables have turned 👌🧹
My rams are showing promise
They were a few people that thought the jets might win.
Y’all be crying when you get whooped in Madden but can’t comprehend why Mahomes would be upset about losing a game lol
The jets are just like the Broncos last year, needed under 20 to win most games.
The NFL rules, arbitrary and erratic refereeing, has gotten as bad as the golf rules. It's just no fun anymore:(
Simms, 0-2 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮 on Monday night 😊
