  1. I hope they are great to make the big boys come down in price. I hope they sell the heads only (doubt it) so you can make them your own for cheap

  2. I am pulling for Kirkland Signature golf but I 1000% agree they missed on the logo. A small KSI insignia would have amazing. Especially with peoples ego playing a part in Golf equipment.

  3. They have to make an entire different manufacturing line for a lefty…they want to see how the market takes the right handed on…then they will make left…

  4. Why do you GAS about the new Kirkland clubs? You're gaming a $2,000 fully customized set as I recall. What gives? Standard clickbait internet hype or something else?

  5. I’m sure Costco was adamant about keeping their logo consistent, but I give this effort 2 shanks down. They look gaudy and agree they are missing the target audience with players distance. Skilled golfers like their clubs to look good—you want to feel like you’re driving a Maserati (or least a nice Lexus 😂) The logo ruins it all for me. Such an odd offering from a (usually) very savvy retailer.

  6. Glad you were able to get your hands on a set to review! It’s looking like these will end up coming to Canada at $799 or so which I think is just too much. You can get a used set of Mizunos at around the same price.

Still looking forward to the review!

PS nice chatting with you the other day 😊

  7. Costco already has the callaway edge set and the other set for beginners. They were missing this category irons. Also most people carry p790’s or equivalent on the golf course not sim or stealth irons. Disagree that the majority of their customers are in the game improvement. Most are in the players distance.

Plus beginners will prefer to get the callaway edge package set not irons only. People who are starting out don’t want to spend too much money and would prefer to buy packaged sets that have all the clubs

  8. Awesome review, very thorough ! If I was a beginner I would definitely get these irons.
After hearing you’re the most excited person about the release of these irons and have been watching the website for their release how did you miss it ?

  9. Yup that logo is too much. Let the esthetics of the club do the selling. Takomo nailed it with theirs. The design of the club looks to be pretty good. If they feel great, I'd consider buying some.

  10. The logo on all their clubs is awful. If they knew golfers its all about brand. They should just call them like ks-2024 with a simple small mark. As they are now they look cheap. Same with their wedges. Also having a 7 degree 2 club difference between pw and gap is a huge mistake. They may get a few weekend golfers to purchase but it doesnt make sense.

  11. I agree on the logo as being WAY to big, and that there should be left handed clubs, but more importantly they should have made a game improvement iron.

  12. Great video. I purchased their wedge set based on a previous video of yours. More just to compare with my Vokeys that were due for replacement and didn’t care if they weren’t as good as it was basically 3 clubs for the price of the new Vokey as I new I could return them. Must say, that after a few rounds, they are simply staying in my bag as I couldn’t believe they would be anywhere near as good.

  13. Look forward to seeing your video on them. It would be REALLY cool if you compared them to the other set you reviewed, the Callaway Edge set for Costco level consumer comparison! 🤞

  14. As a lefty I'm very disappointed. I just got back from Palm Springs where I played with many other left handed golfers. Such a missed opportunity.

  15. I think they went with the players distance for the stand alone iron set as to not cut into the game improvements that are in their box set. The box set will be what the impulse buyers go for.

  16. People could overlook the ugly branding with the wedges, but when its a full bag of irons i think its a bigger ask. Need to minimize or change that logo.

  17. These look good, but I bought the Callaway Edge set last year. That said, I am quite interested in the forthcoming KS driver, which seems like a better, more modern driver than the one that came with the Edge set.

  18. It doesn't seem like they missed the price mark given what is happening in terms of how fast they sold out. Many will happily spend $499 because of the affiliation with Costco, the guarantee and the Kirkland Signature brand. I think they will be popular with many casual players or golfers returning to the sport after a number of years away.

  19. I still don't believe they'll make me give up my Callaway XR irons. I've tried taking them out of the bag several times, but I keep going back. These irons do look nice though……

  20. I think they tried to go with a tweener set. Attract the upper single digit to 20 as the avg handicap is 14.0. But they still sell the higher handicap sets, like the Callaway, on their site.
Looking forward to the review as I'm sure you will get a lot of eyes and new subscribers from it.

  21. Costco should have learned from all the negative comments about the logo on the wedges. The paint fill can be changed or removed to hide the huge logo. Love to see them in the store soon.

  22. I’m really excited to see the review of the clubs.
I also have been extremely interested in seeing these clubs, and have been doing a bit of research and comparing takomo, Caley because I think the price point of $500.00 for a set of above average irons is perfect.

I also agree with the comments that KSI-1 would have been a better logo for these clubs

  23. I just at Caley website and compare the “inside clubs” images, and they are really similar, to the new clubs from Kirkland

  24. I wanted to bite for a set (as I saw MyGolfSpy's post when they hit the Costco site) but 1) I didn't have a spare $500 to blow on them after just dropping $200 on Black Friday on a like-new Wilson Dynapower Titanium driver from Rock Bottom Golf, and 2) I didn't want my wife to murder me. I'll probably cave if I have the spare money when it hits stores, but I do have 200 set aside for the Kirkland driver when that hits (depending on what TT/Project X/HZRDUS shaft they put into that one).

I DID get the V2 wedges when they finally got to my Costco (and got a dirty look from my wife, as it's her Costco membership card) but I handed her the cash saying, I had the money. I wanted to play a milled face wedge (especially after my stepson's short game improved after he got the V1's. I just wish that the next thing in the lineup after the driver would be a milled mallet putter.
