An awful lot of words to explain that Man City's best players are injured at the same time so they're not winning as much. Same happened with Liverpool when we had defensive injuries a few seasons ago. Its not rocket science.

Rice and Rodri are playing 2 different styles . I think Rice main job you can say in Arsenal is to stop Counters . Hes more athletic and we seen many times him tackling to stop an attack . Rodri is more of a controller , a role similar to what Odegaard is doing . Not creatively but them dropping deep and controlling the midfield. Tho i think rice has some potential to develop including in his attacking game .

I have no love for City. They're evaded justice for their FFP violations for years because their owners can hire the best lawyers. They're outspent everyone to assemble the most expensive squad ever for years on end. Their team that knocked out Madrid in the semi-finals last year cost an average of 60 million per player. Pep's arrogance and overthinking costs his team. Their tremendously detestable owners…sorry….nation state. The fact they buy up decent players and don't play them, because they can, so others can't. Their now awful entitled fans. I mean, what's not to like about them?

I was excited to hear the opinions of your guest but you honestly barely let up enough for him to string a few sentences together. Talk less. Listen more. Don’t say everything that your brain comes up with. Still love you but that would make your videoes better.
Just a tip, if Jamie's gonna constantly move his head around while talking, get a condenser mic. Dynamic mics aren't great at capturing sound when the source gets too far or off-axis. It's very distracting when his voice keeps getting cut off.
When Liverpool went for the Quadruple, there was a severe drop the following season. The same thing is happening to City. No team can sustain all those games.

I am a big Trent fan. I'll never buy Trent 8 dream. Please people just end this conversation. He is not fit for that kind of role. That role requires intensity (physical and mostly mental) which Trent does not have. Klopp said it couple of times: if Trent will be in midfield, he should be as deep as possible so that he can have that valuable time and space to deliver his crazy balls. You put Trent in 8, you'll see him losing lots of balls and not doing what he is best at. He is currently playing the inverted role and he is doing good. What do you want more?
The reason City start 'slow' is that we are/were so successful in all major competitions. We finished the season MID JUNE last season = shorter pre-season. We tend to pick up late Dec/Jan.
