Bro they are the number 9 ranked defense. Number 1 rush defense. We are getting pressure and not too mention no touchdown was scored this past week. Only way I'm biting on Chase Young is if it only takes a 3rd rounder or less, and a 2-3 year, middle of the road DE contract. Over paying in hopes that he finally reaches his potential isn't a smart gamble with his limited playing time and production.
Hunter would be a great choice, I just don't see the Vikings dealing him to us, knowing it could be the final piece for sustained divisional terrorism.
Burns is obviously the best choice for talent and age, but depends on what the Panthers want in exchange for him. I'm sure it would take at least a 1st and 2nd round pick, and Burns has said he wants a contract in the 30 Mil per year range. That's a lot of potential future depth and cap space.
I don't know that I like our options here, to be honest. Chase Young would probably be the best option on a low risk sign and trade, and hope he stays healthy and produces as expected.

We don’t need to spend capital on someone with a top 6 defense. Baker been sacked 4 times all year and we still won by double digits with NO sacks, maybe one… every game has had tons of pressure besides top 3 oline in buccs and with Seattle. Keep building through the draft and be patient. Not time to go all in on a player that won’t guarantee a Super Bowl and wreck our chances of resigning key players
