  1. I believe the Bears need to bring a play caller I would suggest Ken Dorsey what did with Josh Allen would stable this position.

  2. Tom Waddle wasn't good and neither was his decision making. So why would I listen to him now Getsy is đŸ’©! Justin is trying to play with a guy who doesn't play to his strengths! He doesn't have the same pocket! Get him a center, and maybe a pro bowl left tackle. He talked about Greenbay we don't run that. Them not running that has nothing to do with Justin. If that's it put him out there and let him fail, don't limit him. I'm done with commentators who make an excuse for inept coaching/playcalling by Getsy. This is the only time I've heard anyone in the entire country that says what Getsy is doing is awesome and works. It doesn't and replacing Getsy and building around fields should be the priority. It should've been the priority when we drafted him but our organization at the time was under bad management!

  3. I don't care who the QB is next season, whether it's Fields or a rookie that the Bears drafted. I do care that Luke Getsy is NOT the offensive coordinator in 2024.

The dude's playcalling and gameplanning is just bad. If we're honest with ourselves, how many times are we confused, or downright irritated with his playcalls compared to how often you think "that's a nice playcall"? It's like an 8:1 ratio. It's not good.

He calls games scared. He calls games conservatively. The Lions game could have been won if he had just trusted any of his players on offense. They had multiple chances to put that game away, and Getsy wouldn't put the ball in his best players' hands. The Vikings game was a ridiculous gameplan. Just thinking that you counter an attacking defense like Flores' with almost exclusively throwing screens was not only stupid, but also gutless. The Vikings knew they were coming, and Getsy still called them. The Bucs knew they were coming, and Getsy still called them. The Packers knew they were coming, and Getsy still called them. He's bad.

Not only all that, but Getsy has not gotten the most out of Fields. He doesn't gameplan like he has an elite running weapon as a QB. That's a mistake. If the threat is there, teams will adjust, and it will open up the passing game. Why doesn't Getsy seem to understand that? You don't have to run Fields often, but you have to convince the defense that you could be ready to at any moment.

  4. Getsy clearly stated JF1 checks into the screens in rpo, fields is a pussy and is scared to throw it downfield

  5. The reasons the screens did not work, is because there was no threat downfield based on the play calling. And the play calling was because of the blitzing that the Vikes are known for. But you have to know that if there is no threat getting beat deep, that this plan is faulty. Also, to counter the blitz, you should be getting Fields outside the pocket where he has an RPO away from the pressure. Not saying he could not be a good OC, but it is his first gig. He has had a few good schemed plays, but a lot of bad schemes. Two many receivers in the same spaces and odd route combinations. You had essentially a rookie QB brought in 1 year prior in past administration, so what do you do for a kid that needs help to grow, you hire a FIRST time HC who is a defensive guy, and a FIRST time OC, who's experience has been watching Aaron Rodgers on the sidelines. Does not make a lot of sense to me.

  6. I disaree woth Waddle b/c Ryan Day said the type of offense that would fit Justin was the Shannahan offense. Getsy hasnt been running that . He was trying to run the old Mike McCarhy stuff that Rodgers was forcing Lafleur to run when he was there. Getsy was trying to force feed that, not the stuff Kyle runs in SF.

  7. People talk about the passes jf made on screen passes, no one is talking about the passes he didn't attempt that were down field.
Part of this Os problem is the QB.he doesn't trust the wrs, outside Moore and he doesn't trust the ol, so even when guys are open he doesn't trust what he sees

  8. THE SCREENS WORK FOR SF BECAUSE THEIR WR BLOCK…THE BEARS WR DONT BLOCK THEY WIFF WHICH GETS YOUR SCREENS WITH NO GAIN

  9. Starts up front, bottom line! How many different O line combos have their been? Bears fans are QB dumb, can’t see what you’ve never had! Fields has proved he can get it done from the pocket, when there is a pocket to throw from!!!!!

  10. I think Justin biggest issue is, he doesn’t trust his O-Line. Justin first year and a half he was running for life. I looking forward to the next 5 games, the O-line is pretty healthy and protecting better. Let see if Justin can trust his O-line.

  11. Tom Waddle made a comment saying that the Greenbay offense is what Getsy brought to Chicago. No he didn't it's been RPOs since he's been in Chicago. That type of offense is definitely what Fields needs to be in. The running game and play action is definitely what Fields needs to be in. With Fields deep ball accuracy he will be dangerous in that offense. You can also get Fields on the edges a lot easier in that type of offense. That's the offense that suits Fields.

  12. You’re getting you’re QB drilled on a bunch of those screens, the receiver catching the screen is getting killed too when it doesn’t work, and you’re killing the confidence of everybody from fans, the quarterback, receivers that are not that good at blocking , the defense who has to get back out there quick on those 3 and outs
like we are not a 25% screen pass play type team
mayb 10% but dam there were wayyy too many screens
