  1. Clearly, Rahm believes his leaving the PGA will, for the most part, not affect his participation in the majors or Ryder Cup. The tea leaves show presently that a merger with the PIF will not happen, but private equity will step in. Private equity runs on return on investment, and as such, they will dictate the increased participation of LIV with the PGA for enhanced events. Can't blame Rahm for the cash grab, but players come and go. Kudos to Tiger for not breaking ranks and turning down mega riches.

  2. I respect you, but anyone allowing those people to take over golf is deluded. Golf is a game of honor. Who in the hell do you want to be in charge?

  3. Love liv. Never miss it. Happy rahm came around to it. The instant original hate toward some other event was ridiculous. I'm excited that more guys are coming over to play.

  4. He sold his soul to the devil. I am not saying a person can’t change his mind, but come on! Jon has proven himself to be a hypocrite. I would have respected him for his decision if he had been honest with the reasons why he joined LIV. It would have been a real statement of his integrity, given he said he wouldn’t join them for any price, if he hadn’t taken the money to join and earned his million$ with good playing just like on the PGA tour.
Do I blame him and the rest of the PGA tour player’s feelings of anger and betrayal, given how Jay screwed them over? No. When Jay made his announcement of the pending merger after negotiations behind their backs, they should have demanded his resignation. How he still has his job is baffling. A true merger of the two tours is proving to be complicated and I feel there will be winners and losers in the end. Let’s hope that we, as fans, won’t be the biggest losers and still be able to afford and attend tournaments without mortgaging our homes, and that the players will still have a tour to call home.

  5. Rahm just wants to grow the game with the best players, in the best tour. Money is just a byproduct. 🤷

  6. Monahan needs to be shown the door…like yesterday….he’s a boneheaded-self serving buttnozzle that has degraded not just the PGA tour, but the game of golf as well

  7. LIV aren’t offering any average joe a huge contract. Obviously he has value to them. It’s like when they offered a near billion dollars to tiger because they just wanted his name there not because he was going to dominate. Rahm would be silly to turn down that offer. If pga and LIV merge then do you think he will get that big of an offer. If they merge there won’t be these contracts anymore. Won’t change his lifestyle but it will change your family and future generations life. How many people are going to have hundreds of millions in cash. What PGA tour keeps changing, take the $$$ worry about the rest later. Just because you play less doesn’t mean you’re not as competitive. Just look at brooks and others LIV players who had a great prep and then did well in the majors. He’s well within in his right to get that money, good luck to him

  8. Rahm doesn't even have the balls to tell us how much they paid him lol. Also he kept telling us that as a father and husband he has to provide for them, i guess 17 million a yr is just not enough….also they keep saying that liv golf is so wonderful yet it takes 000,000,000 to get them to play ?? Why not do it for free???

  9. Rahm was loyal to the PGA until the PGA was ready to take the money from the Saudi and make him work for it. PGA is screwed the moment they try to merge with LIV after demonize all players that moved to LIV.

  10. Dustin Johnson said it best… “Who wouldn’t want to be in the office less and earn more money?” No brainer.

  11. Professional golf in general is a joke. Over the last 3 years it has degraded to the point of unwatchability

  12. I thought you might be different and call it honestly but I was wrong, just another video banging on about money, he went for the money ect. Can people not see that he's always said he's a family man and maybe just maybe the fact he won't be contracted to have to play so much which they do on the pga that might have been a deciding factor for him. He's guaranteed to play in majors, gets a nice pay day plus gets to spend more time with his family. Of course everyone would like more money but I think there's been more deciding factors than just money for him.

  13. A year ago I would have said (and I did) you were crazy if you thought Rahm would go to LIV, he was one of the Three Karen's; Rory and Horschel being the other two. I'm stunned but I'm glad it happened, the PGAT is a joke, Phil was right from the start.

  14. Don't be a hypocrite and a sour grape. Everybody go back on their words over time. Go ask your UK politicians. Start with Boris Johnson.
