Saleh spun it by saying they never asked him to start, & basically said they’d cut him if he said he didn’t want to play.
Rodgers is not a cancer because of his support for the team . But he was basically made GM and the moves are a disaster . Bad overpaid friends are not helping this team . Hackett is only good if 8 plays . They can’t let Rodgers run the team . In the current role it has been cancerous .

You know at this point they might be mathematically in it but they should just fire Joe Douglas and bring in a gm who has won in this league and tell him to give us a winning team and add the pieces we need so 2024 becomes a the greatest team ever. If they do this it is for the fans. Rodgers is the best thing that's happened all they need now is finish this next year by giving us a winning team and who knows next gm will clean house behind Rodgers and bring in 2 number 2 QB for the back up and get the number 2 receiver maybe look to Cincinnati they 3 good ones maybe. The thing that kills me about Zack is his arm strength is excellent and he's a good athlete. It's his lack of leadership skills and football instincts that is lacking. But as Saleh said, he thinks he's the best QB in the room. And sadly, he is. But there's no need to kick the guy when he's down. I wish him the best wherever he ends up. It's nothing personal buddy. We just need better play from the QB position. It's not like you weren't given your chance to prove yourself. Whoever leaked the story needs to shut up. Like Rogers said, that's not the way winning teams operate. It should have just been handled internally without putting it out there publicly.

The problem is everyone keeps saying reluctance like Zach was quoted saying that on camera. We have no idea what sentiment he was expressing exactly. He could have just said “I’m a little worried about injury” and it gets leaked and reported that he’s is showing reluctance to play and expressing it to multiple people and everyone runs with the words reported. It’s a shame how easily the public takes the words of reporters like gospel and quotes them verbatim.

Aaron does not like Dianna Russini of the Athletic (formerly ESPN) because she has accurately reported 3 truths he does not like.
1. She reported Rodger's player wish-list which he denied (we know she was correct…Cobb, Lazard, Hackett etc.
2. She correctly reported that Rodgers ignored the play-call (quick release), held the ball & got sacked.
3. She is now correctly reporting about Zach's reluctance to take the field.

He never should’ve started his first year. Behind that offensive line, they should’ve waited to the line gelled until they had confident receivers. They could’ve waited till the second year to start him. They just ruined his confidence he got pummeled in his first game he was throwing with confidence he stepped up, got creamed, while he completed the pastor, Mimms in his first game, that offensive line was putrid, especially after McKay Becton went down he should’ve never started his first year!
This is why nobody will want to play in New York. Media circus you cannot have a private conversation and say something Flippin somebody’s gonna overhear it and blow it way out of proportion.
