Bryson, not sure this is a legit question. Did you and Rick use the same ball position in the sand relative to your body, or is there flexibility on where you can draw the line and its just an exercise of hitting the line based on your ball position preference?
This drill off range mats is just using big sticks of chalk draw one really sharp line with a really thick line infront of it – ball between them and you have to clear the chalk line infront without touching the one just behind it

@10:37 shows the difference between pro golfers practicing precise technique for hours vs amateur golfer just hitting balls at range. As always, good practice makes a good golfer. And let us not forget the importance of clubs that are the correct length, weight, grip size, etc. for our particular body shape to be able to deliver the head to the same place over and over.

The best bit about this video was that everything was skills based. As soon as rick asked if he should be changing anything mechanically with his swing bryson steered him away from it and back to just working on the skill of hitting the low point correctly
