DP Tour agrees to become minor league feeder for the PGA Tour | Bottom 125 to 200 players get cards. A segment from This Week In Golf on Sauga 960 with Chris McKee
You say that you don't know the players 125-200 on the PGA Tour. I don't think that's a great argument, because if you look at the players on the DP World Tour in positions 60-117 who keep their card, you probably won't recognise those names either. I would argue that the bottom of the PGA Tour is better than the bottom of the DP World Tour, so this change makes the DP World Tour more competitive overall. The top players won't change, the DP World Tour has a few big tournaments that some of the best PGA players play in.
I don't think people around Europe see this the same way as you do. I'm from Denmark and there are currently 3 players who might get the PGA Tour card for next season(Nicolai Højgaard, Rasmus Højgaard and Thorbjørn Olesen). They will still be playing a lot in Europe, at least until they get a win on the PGA.
Best european players has always go to PGA Tour and top10 is great addition, BUT bringing 75 americans to play in europe? nah boring as shit. In europe there might be 10 different nationalities in top10 and every country roots for their own but no one cares about 200th best american player
