PGA TOUR REVEAL PRIZE MONEY FOR ELEVATED EVENTS AND IT IS ABSURD…

I couldn’t BELIEVE the purse for the Waste Management Phoenix Open on the PGA Tour.. How can golfers moan about LIV TOUR when professional golfers are receiving this type of prize money for a pga tour event.

Scottie Scheffler tasted victory once again at the Waste Management Phoenix Open on the PGA Tour but how much exactly did he win? Scheffler was aiming to defend the title he won 12 months ago.

Liv tour has been spoken about a lot over the last couple of weeks to the prize money and the professional golfers that have made the switch from the pgas tour (dp world tour).

Scheffler wins by one stroke, defends his Waste Management Phoenix Open title! Scottie Scheffler reclaimed the world number one ranking after successfully defending his Waste Management Phoenix Open title with a two-stroke victory on Sunday.

Scheffler – after posting rounds of 68, 64 and 68 – closed in style with a six-under 65 to finish at 19-under overall.

He went bogey-free in his final round with four birdies and an eagle, showing his affinity for the TPC Scottsdale course after winning his first PGA Tour event at this tournament last season.

  1. As much as I love tiger and all of us golf fanatics do . But I think he may make the cut and be in the bottom 10
The prize money for these golfers is insane , but they are top athletes in their field . Look at soccer , NFL , tennis and other top sports , huge money 💰💰🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♀️

  2. Golf is going same way as all sports they all think they are hard done bye they all earn millions a year live a luxury life in mansions they don't have to worry about how they can pay gas and electric bills and food bills all they are concerned about is they want more money it's a disgrace

  3. The fans at the 16th hole were awesome. The cheers and boos were so much fun!! I just wish they all won.

  4. Notice Rory McIlroy says absolutely nothing about how the PGA hoarded all the prize money up until LIV came along

Very quiet about all the extra money they found under the sofa

So all the LIV players were right after all

  5. First, he will make the cut.
Second, the change in prize money is a good response to LIV. I think it will get bigger purses in the future. May even lead to a tourney play off between the two, PGA vs LIV.

  6. The PGA responded to LIV with the elevated prize money for a core number of events and the top guys have to play in them and can get one exemption.
These have elevated prize money so no wonder Rory got $100K, LIV pays 100K to the person coming last which is why so many moved to it 14 events this year nice top up to their earnings.
I’m not sure I agree with thePGA offering $100K a year to those having won their tour card. Surely the drive is to make them improve make the cut and earn the rewards
The crowd at the16th yes adds to the event but it is booze filled, and that can be a recipe for trouble depending on how much is consumed.
Tiger is obviously aiming for a warm up prior to the masters he has no intention of going there and not making the cut. I feel he could make top 20

  7. The Stadium enclosed 16th was an innovative idea. Great for the fans! Similar to some Formula 1 track layouts (Indonesia specifically). Big future for this idea!

  8. Most people do not have the money to play this sport. As everywhere: it is the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer. As everything: it is the money that spoils it and ruins it. The parasitic concept.
