  1. Thanks for this dgn. Matty O winning made me so happy i just wanna keep rewatching it. I may even rewatch the whole live feed for fun.

  2. Congrats Matt. I love it when an "experienced" player takes down a tourney. Lets go USDC!

  3. When Matty O wins, we all win. What an incredible back 9. Also amazing that his first elite series was against the best field there's ever been in the sport

  4. Been a lot of great wins this year but this is probably my favorite. Super awesome to see how much everyone present got into it.

  5. So happy for Matt! I have been playing disc golf for 40+ years now. I've seen Matt heartbroken many times. He really loves this sport, this is such a well deserved win!

  6. I like how Matt kept it spicy with that *barely *over *the *wall drive on 18…. and then the layup that found the one tree to block 😆

  7. Dude, its amazing how many times he landed in the same spots round to round. You can even go watch his B9 practice round and know he executed his gameplan perfectly the last round. Shots were landing within 5ft of where some of his practice shots were landing. Crazy level of consistency and putting lights out!!!! Congrats!!!!

  8. Best decision of my life to ditch lead card on hole 9 and run to see Matty O close it out from hole 11 to hole 18. Such an insane finish to the tourney. Loved how excited everyone was for him

  9. On the course yesterday this came up and I said "I wont confirm or deny, but I may have cried a little when Matty O won" and someone responded "I think we all cried a little." haha!

  10. Wasnt it before this season that there was only one tournament someone won from the chase card? McBeth? Now its happened like 3-4 times this year alone!

  11. Matt Arum went absolute clutch with 7 under on the back 9.

I checked through the scoreboard, and found that no one else did a 7 under on back 9. No. one, not on any of the 4 days. Just Matty O.

    Absolute clutch.

  12. I've been watching disc golf for several years just starting playing it this year. I like any kind of sport. I like personalities of the sport. I follow Brodie Smith and Ezra Aderhold more than any other pro player. I watched MattyO's interview with Brodie and Uli this morning. Love him or hate him his is a legit dude that's been grinding out this sport for a long time and is a great personality for the sport. Congrats Matty0!!

  13. Missing the layup OB on hole 18 in round 3 was the best thing Matty did on Saturday. It gave him a spot on the chase card so he could stay in the zone and CRUSH the back 9 (& the field) the final round.

  14. So fitting that Matty's winning string of seven birdies all started with a Roll Tide touch roller:-)

  15. After he puts that putt in on 18 in round 4, I’m reminded of Will Smith’s character at the end of the pursuit of happyness. Just… nothing but joy. Cerebral to watch and all the credit in the world to Matty O, truly well deserved.
