  1. Cookie made me go look in the mirror to see if I'm aging the same as he is. John was so good looking in his early years. Golfers have always been independent contractors working for themselves. To transition from total independence to the team aspect isn't happening. Frat Pack was a failure this year.

  2. If my name was John cook and someone called me cookie, I would never do an interview with them again. What disrespect.

  3. "Who's making all the money (and why is me-me-me not getting even more of it)?" is the mentality that is tearing US professional golf apart right now – and has led directly to LIV. When a bunch of spoilt multi-millionaires are publicly squabbling over how representing their country should be a massive pay-out for them rather than a massive privilege, there's a really unpleasant smell in the air. They will all already get financial reward through their sponsor contract conditions. If they do get paid directly they will ALWAYS want even more (don't tell me an "honorarium" will ever be enough for them), and captain's picks will become even more contentious. No wonder the US can't actually ever put a proper team (rather than just a group of talented players) together!
