  1. Pete, did you consider to go for a lesson to GRF golf? It is a different way of teaching golf. Maybe you are aware of their Youtube channel, maybe not. I myself very much like this kind of approach to golf teaching. I know that you are professional, you are talented etc. and you can make your game work pretty much all the time, but I would certainly like to see video with Marcus Bell and would love your take on his way of teaching.

  2. Fun stuff as usual. I always like really technical stuff about golf, even though I'm just getting to a place where I can call myself a lowish handicapper I love learning about swing mechanics.

  3. Pete: "I haven't had my swing looked at in ages"
Also pete: posts 3 video's a week showcasing his gem of a swing

  4. More of this. This was very interesting. The aim alignment thing was exceptionally cool to see feel vs reality. I also like how it only took a few swings for Pete to change and still hit it so pure. I was having issues chipping the ball last year, could not figure it out. Normally really good. One guy watching me says "You're dipping". Instant light bulb moment. Some times it just takes a nice trained eye to fix small things.

  5. I bet Pete is left-eye dominant. I'm the opposite, right handed right-eye dominant golfer. I'm aiming miles right and think I'm aiming straight. For those who have never checked, Google how to check your eye dominance. It may change your game.

  6. Grant has an eye for details and picks up on little thing very quickly. You almost never see that in a younger coach/pro. At least in my experience.

  7. I know that sometimes the camera angle creates differing angles but from the video it looks like your shoulder alignment is still open, I’d try to straighten this off not so much by closing the shoulders but by softening the right elbow slightly which will shallow the swing out and give a better connection through the swing.. but hey whatever works for you is what matters.. wouldn’t worry to much as timing wise you’ll fall back into

  8. Pete is such a skilled golfer but he got locked in that left to right trajectory so much it needed draw biased Grant to put him back at the right track again. And as a golf coach I love Grants take at Pete's problem. Very well done.

  9. Why is Peter a pro and Grant is not a pro? I get that Peter did his PGA exam etc but didn’t win a place on the tournament, but surely Grant should be considered a professional golfer?

  10. grant is one crazy talented golfer, he said in one of micahs videos that he never works out and goes up from bed at like 11 am. imagine if he worked as hard as the tour pros, he would easily be on the tour imo. dude knows the golf swing spot on

  11. More of a humorist view of this…but Peter, your expressions of "thar be dragons" mid-video when you're trying to wrap your head around where you need to aim are priceless.

  12. Pete you have to be one of the most coachable athletes. It’s amazing to see you make adjustments so quickly and effectively with Grant’s instructions

  13. Clang!!!! Did you hear that? That was the world’s biggest penny dropping. I have been hitting my wedges like a dream, but right, right, right – parallel lines! Of course you see a different line to the ball, obvious right?

Off to the range in the morning

  14. Peter might be worthwhile checking on how much rotation you have in your neck if restricted to left it might cause your body to align further right to compensate

  15. Been struggling myself with the exact same issue, got a lesson in 2 weeks so will do my best to hopefully address it as well as you did, think it’ll take me longer than 15 minutesđŸ€Ł

  16. Absolutely superb lesson, albeit Pete felt awkward at first, the results spoke for themselves. Great work guys..! đŸ‘ŒđŸœ

  17. Great video, guys. I’ve been watching this recent set and believed those bladed irons were just too difficult to strike consistently, Pete, but it now seems it was a basic alignment issue. Interesting. So cool how you were able to take instruction and implement the change in such a short period of time. The difference between a PGA Pro and the great unwashed I guess.

  18. It never ceases to amaze me how players of such a wide range of proficiency in the game can improve with just a tweak here & there. A new level of respect for Grant gained from this subscriber. With a small tweak, you managed to make a great player even better. Stay with it Peter.
