Today Ian is testing out EPON’s top selling 7 SERIES. Moving from a hollow body design to a pocket cavity has allowed EPON’s designers to rework the body of the golf club to maximize CG placement for each individual loft.
The result is a more compact head shape that is more visually pleasing and creates an effortless launch.

Only F4 stiff darts? Would have thought you'd use the F5 x-stiffs. Do the dart v play quite stout to flex?
Great test, i think the average joe portion is more relatable. I think that should be in all your tests.
Average Joe thanks you for this test and the sharing of the data understanding 🤩
On irons cant get enough spin to stop at low decent angles. Need 9500 range to stop at 35 or lower decent angle
Great vid. Full review on those shafts in the future as well?
Best part of the vids is the banter between Mike and Ian
Would love to see Ian put some “clunkers” like these in the bag with Arcos on and see if they improve or worsen his game.
What was the build of the 5 iron (length/swing weight)? What is the head weight? And, did you have to add tip weight to get it to the swing weight? Thanks! Another great video!
I sense a series coming on “how to turn cutty Joe into drawy Joe”
Average Joe you are perfect just the way you are
Fras makin' it look easy. Always makes me wonder why everybody (no matter if you're stick or a mid capper) doesn't game irons like these….. and if anyone tells me its a " I shot shape" or "these will give up a few flyers" or "I need a skinny top line" thing, save your breath – thats all rubbish. Just's make me wonder is all. Why struggle or why make this already very hard game harder if irons like this clearly work for any level of player? I'm contemplating every decision I ever make when I see TXG vids like this.
Is the word jumper just a flushed shot. I hear that word a lot and just wonder if people are all over the face of the club and then hit the center and call it a jumper?
I am still playing the callaway x12 irons
@clubchampionmedia how high is too high? I've never been fit for a set of clubs but looking at getting back into golf after 6 years I've been trying a lot of clubs. I hit all 7 irons about 40m high and with a descent angle of 47-50⁰ wih about 5700rpm. Im swinging my 7iron between 93 & 97mph. Previously played off +3 and loving the ZX5' and Cobra Forged Tec.
Great video but just wondering how good is EPON comparing with Mizuno?
I so love how you break the small details down to allow us "average joes" to totally understand all the tech details. Thank y'all for the continued awesome content
Nice review and love the average Joe swings mixed in ! What do these compare to in size ? Titleist T350 ?
