  1. Not sure why the P790 has become the standard. I have noticed it more with youtubets on the other side of the pond. The P790 iron is 30.5, definitely not tradional. I am a 65 year old, 19 handicap player with an iron clubhead speed of 65 mph. When I tested the P790's I hit the iron with a carry distance of 175 yards. I hit my Callaway 7 iron with a 155 yard carry. The P790 is very hot so why is it that you are put off that this Callway iron is not a players iron but the P790 is. Just wondering. I believe the Mizuno 223's are a much better feeling iron then the P790. So is the Wilson D9 Forged. Sorry I just believe there are several irons that fill the definition of a "Players Iron" besides the P790. Just my opinion. I enjoy your reviews and channel content.

  2. Absolutely not appealing just like most Tec driven iron heads. The strong lofts also make this style not appealing I don't need a 7 iron flying further then a standard loft 4 iron 👎

  3. P790 blows out of the water and cheaper. The blue look isn’t that appealing to me nor is the silly name.

  4. I have to be honest and say that I'm not keen on the looks of this new offering from Callaway, much too shiny and not a fan of that back view.

  5. I game the P790 and I hate it. I’m a 8 h’cap and it feels like a high h’cap player game improvement. I’ve just tried the Callaway rogue pro and it was miles better in terms of looks and performance. So, I’m looking forward to trying these…..

  6. I am a Senior Callaway golfer supporter needing new irons, ( only carry 7- Sw as like my hybrids and fairway woods) would the Paradym m be the way to go or just as good to go with the last year Rogue OS Lites?

  7. Maybe mention that the clubs can be customized. Lofts can be tweaked to be weaker to add spin. A ball change can affect spin rate too. The irons aren’t just off the rack options. Can be fitted.

  8. Spin has to be taken in context with distance. I have been fitting these for the past month and almost everyone has seen a distance gain of 15-20 yards over their previous irons. Based on this, if a player was hitting 150 with his previous 7 iron then he would be hitting a 9 iron to the same 150 yards. Using a 9 iron to carry the same distance would mean the spin would be up about another 1500 rpm. If you went the other way and said the Paradym covers 150 and he hits his old irons then he would need to hit 2 clubs more so the spin would drop down. Time after time I have seen these launch higher, fly higher and go 2 clubs longer. None of that is a negative. In this video he is hitting a 7 iron over 200 carry and it's stopping within 6-7 yards. Once again, if you had to hit a 5 iron to carry 200 yards would you expect it to stop in less time than that?

  9. Compared to my previous irons Callaway Maverick, at my fitting I saw a gain everywhere. Distance, spin, launch and descent angle were up against my old irons and they had no problems holding the greens!

  10. I just got fitted for these yesterday with a Callaway rep at my home course. I now need to find a way to hide $1400 from my wife
