Anthony Gordon is not better than Jack Grealish. He will not play ahead of him, amid he does it will be throw away games.

England have an abundance of talent, but a manager reluctant to replace a select past it or shot group of guys for guys in their mid 20s, never mind the youth- UNLESS, they are obviously freakishly talented like bellingham. So there will ALWAYS be players to wait out.

The reason you donβt have any going the other way is people are proud to be Scottish. It is basically a huge lost if Southgate and England lost Tino Livramento to either Scotland or Italy or Portugal.
The problems is England have too many good talent at attacking midfield role.
The one that needs more number of talent is holding midfield role, central defender, left full back and goalkeeper.
It is like Griezmann who have German and Belgian parents but he feels himself more as Frenchman.
Gordon is in the form of his life and couldnt even make the squad not to mind starting….he should definitely throw his lot in with Scotland…Love to have him with Ireland but were hopeless
