  1. Just a note the course was being prepared for an event coming up soon and the tees had just been treated. The rest of the course was brilliant, it's well worth a visit!

  2. Glad i got to see this; hadn’t formed an opinion of Chris from his channel; this vid made him seem likable

  3. Great video, interesting track That Goat Hill Park. I listen to Chris' podcast every week, good stuff!!

  4. If ever there was a chance of completing this challenge, this looked like it. Just shows manipulating data can improve your handicap.

  5. Nice to see you play, but you choice of fllightpartner is a bit strange. That guy started a campaign against Rick, Pete and Jazzy after Rick made a bad review about the stealth 1. He is basically the proud boy of online golf.

  6. I don’t doubt this guy is a scratch golfer..I’ve seen Matt skunk it up before also and questioned if he was a scratch golfer.

  7. Hey at least they both have great attitudes unlike some scratch golfers I’ve played with that throw they’re clubs and cuss up a storm..not fun to play with those whiners ..👎🏼👎🏼

  8. WHOLE lot of people here commenting how this course looks like crap. Apparently it's in the San Diego CA area, where average yearly rainfall = 10 inches. I believe over in the UK, average yearly rainfall is > 30-40 inches per year. Plus due to climate/irrigation/water conservation issues in the southwestern portion of the US, watering of golf courses isn't done as frequently. So if you are used to a lush green course – this will look awful. I'm from the midwestern US myself, rainfall is generally > 40 inches per year in my state… so this course does look a bit "dry" to me but not outrageous. As to Chris being a scratch golfer… he's not hitting it very far but he's fairly consistent, no bad mishits, decent chip/pitch game… I'd say he looks like a 8-10 handicap to me. Finally, for those of you mentioning the hole distances… a 280 yard par 4 on a public course is quite short (most public courses I play, the middle tees on a par 4 are about 370y and back tees about 400y) but I agree, a 215 yard par 4 is EXTREMELY short. This course did look to have very small greens with quite a bit of pitch to them, so it might not be QUITE as easy as you think just based on the yardages on the card.

  9. Is it me, or were you putting there with a longer backswing and stabby follow through? 🤔

  10. Im impressed Matt! You managed to publish a video and hold a bellend convention in the comments section simultaneously! Seriously though, this was a good watch, thanks to both of you for putting it out there.

  11. Good vid and enjoyed Chris’s virtual company. Good attitude and looks like he’d be fun to play a round with

  12. A fly when he hits it, becomes a wasp when he writes his score down, becomes a pterodactyl when he orders a pint at the 19th 😂😂
