  1. Hope to see king well rested for a bright start next year since he got no tournaments left this year, it would be his final chance at touching distance with paris 2024. Good run king and good luck..

  2. Back to 2018-2019 when Momota&SYQ 's prime era, I thought they would be the new rivalry after Lin-Lee's era because Momota was too strong meanwhile SYQ was the only person who had the attacking playstyle which could penetrate momota's defense but they faced their own problems and couldn't continue their best shape. Now happy to see they can meet and compete each other again at a big stage, different with 3 last times when Momota didn't truly comeback, now he's truly coming back and SYQ also has a stable form

  3. Momota did not play badly, still very focused on his game, but he was a little too unenergetic and passive for Shi yuqi. Momota could not penetrate the defense of Shi yuqi, but Shi yuqi could penetrate Momota. I guess Momota was too tired from the 9 matches he played non stop.

  4. After two years, even the british commentator remembered MOMOTA's name as MOMOTO as the 1st minute in this vedio.

  5. Bạn chơi đều rất tuyệt, set 2 Momota đã hết năng lượng, xử lý cầu và phán đoán đã không còn được nhạy bén nữa. Chúc Momota sớm bình phục và trở lại vị trí số 1 thế giới!

  6. Yeah, don't forget kento also had to play two qualifiers on the same day as well as having 2 super long matches 😅

  7. Momota is not in good stamina so he is lost. SYQ is very tough if he gets in good mood. SYQ beat Lee JZ when Lee is tired.

  8. its really a big mistake for christie if he serve high ball to axelsen as his smashes is powerful.

  9. Momota deserves a respect because he is still fighting. However he is no longer fast enough to competing top 5 players.

  10. right, Momota was too tired to play against top players. good luck to his following matches.

  11. They will meet again soon, no doubt. Then the result will be different, mark my words. Momota played pretty well considering all his energy had been used over the past 10 days

  12. Welcome back Momota for your much progress. However, Shi has been your own killer for recent time no matter what your undaunted resistance was. You couldn't suffer his violent attack with no mercy. Try harder and get better luck next time, Momota. Congratulation for Shi Yu Qi !

  13. both players come a long way. Momota is making good progress. i do not see anything negative about the losing the match here only the positive progress.

All the best to Shi in the coming matches.

  14. Unbelievable the amount of haters waiting for Momota to lose? He just had a good winning streak and finding his rhythm again, he's not finished. These pathetic losers can't appreciate how talented he is.

  15. Congrats to both players, they all came across difficulties in the past few years and still not giving up. That's sportsmanship we appreciate and treasure the most.

  16. Shi Yu Qi has upgraded his smash recently. In the past he often time score with his cross court slice smash from his right corner, his big smash, stick smash have never been his main weapon in his attack game. In this game against Momota, as well as the game against Nishmoto, his smashes have become a lot more powerful than before. Although those smashes won't necessary win points for him, it definitely put more pressure on his rivals.
Momota has regained his speed and confidence, showcased in the game against Loh Key Yoh. But at this stage it will be difficult to see him playing in the Paris Olympic.

  17. Nice game Momota, rest well and good luck as you rise to your former glory. Keep fighting, lots of fans are supporting you 😊😊

  18. A good game by both players, but lousy commentators. Going on and on about Momota and the “question marks” made it sound like he’s going to lose the match at the start. How about commenting more about the plays and stats rather than talking about one player? Come on, give the guy some credit for making it into the QF and playing 10 games in 10
    days.

  19. When I watched Lin Dan's match with Momota in 2018, I was very dissatisfied with Momota's attitude. That year Li Dan was 35 years old, now you are not even 30 years old. Do you know why Li Dan is the best?
