I expect that Detroit will follow the lead of other teams and have their defense really go after Justin Fields. After all, it has worked so far. On the other hand, the O-line is healthy and playing better so they might be able to protect Fields better. One thing that I find confusing. Justin Fields has stated that his hand is not at 100%. The fact that the staff is putting him in the game anyway suggests to me that they aren't particularly sold on keeping him. After all, why risk further injury to someone that you are planning to keep around for the long term?
It amazes me that Sylvie has been around Football this long, and that is his take on Justin Fields. I actually don’t believe it, I think he’s being dishonest and catering to the fan base wants to hear to make them happy. You’re saying the coaching staff had enough time, and they should be gone in two years, but the quarterback who has been here three years, accumulated the second worst record in the history of the NFL, after 31 games, has improved as a pocket passer at a snails pace, and is still behind Bagent, and undrafted rookie free agent, as far as being a pure pocket passer. This take is actually moronic to say if this quarterback class wasn’t deep, they would keep fields for a fourth year. There isn’t a chance in the world that fields is here next year. Get used to it.

Bagent had 4 games tailored to him and could only muster 3 touchdowns but supposed to read the defense better than Justin right. So how is his 4 games better then the 2 games Justin had tailored to him? Bagent had a offensive line and defense that was better than Justin had and still couldn’t get it done in the air but somehow he is bettthan Justin avg 165 yards a game. Get out of here with that crap. I like Bagent don’t get me wrong but I’m not delusional to the point where I’m going to blame every loss on Justin when the defense gave up points after Justin took us down the field with the lead in some of the games. Let’s not forget that most of bears game was loss by halftime so how is it Justin fault? He wasn’t playing defense.

Fields will not be on the Bears next year. Not because he is not good enough, but because if plays light out his contract asking price will be on par with the elite QBs…..around $ 175,000,000 to$ 225,000,000. He will stand strong because he knows at least 2or3. teams will pay him. Most Bear fans know the Bears stingy. They must realize the Organization will not pay. From there point of view, he will be a 5-year vet , mobile QB with some miles on those wheels. who has had some injuries and if let Justin be Justin the odds are he may get hurt. Is there a chance any QB can get hurt, of course. However, running QBs chances are slightly better it will happen. Should he sign for less not likely because of the way may feel the Bears treated him. He has no great love for the Bears. The Pros ' want the money. So what is being set up will be a contract negotiation struggle. If the Bears let him go past the trade deadline, his final contract year will exist under a cloud of discontent. T What will make everyone happy except some Bear fans is they will trade him for top players or draft picks. Wherever, he goes he will receive the money he wants. With the money the Bears save, they will find a few elite players to bolster the team where it is needed. most likely next years the O-line will e much improved with right addition and some elite weapons to go with it. People who worry they will have prepared a rookie all over again should realize the rookie will be in an immediate position to do well. So once again it has nothing to do race, it is the money.

So if Fields lack of production was because of the O-LINE, lack of offensive weapons, game planning, how does that not apply to Tyson not doing well. To compare a 4-game starter to an elite College QB and then a 3rd year pro is grossly unfair. All you to do is listen to those words and you could see the comparison makes no sense. FIELDS WAS/ IS the BEARS OB. The starter most always regains his starting role when becomes healthy. So, this back and forth about who will be the Bears QB was a contrived controversy to put eyeballs on the Sport channels and give the talking heads a chance for conjecture and mind less comments. This yakking then created a vehicle for fans to react. Once again it is about Sport Channel Revenue ..

Justin needs to play better than he ever has ! He has to play well as the Bears need to get him at prime trade value. You can't build a team around a running QB whos longest pass in the air was just 24 yards, until his final full gain where he superiot arm let him throw the ball a whopping 34 yards… This from a guy who has the best arm… Tyson has a ball travel over 50 yards in the air and caught at 50 yards. So the people say his arm is weak, obviouls missed that pass. The 27 losses by Fields is more than enough to judge him. He is not a QB I want to have to lead a team down the field to tie or win on the last drive. It has happened 10 times and he is 1-9. The Bears are not building around Fieds because a QB has to be a pocket passer first and then scramble/run if needed. He is not a dual threat as he ranks last at throwing catchable passes. He is also second to last in sacks, while his div 2 back up, who know how to use the pocket gets sacked less than anyone.. he leads the league. His big problem is he has bever faced world class speed throwing against the speed of the DB's. If he can do that, he is a great back up, and who know, he may be very coachable and become a starter somewhere. Put Fields in as a wildcat QB and also a punt returner.. there have been players drafted as a QB who found great success elsewhere like hines Ward.
i want Justin Gone. because itll basically show u the REAL issue with the BEars; issues that are on a historic level. they have a history of not hiring the right staff. thats why 2 positions coaches are gone within half a szn. also, media guys, Like the ones in this video, are the ones that added fuel to the fire, when it pertains to the unnecessary controversy.
So Justin fields is most likely gone. Arizona winning and Carolina losing last week makes it extremely probable the bears will have a top 2 pick. There are 3 teams with 2 wins, and Carolina wins strength of schedule tiebreak with all 3. The giants and patriots play next week, so one of them will be a 3 win team. The Cardinals look very likely to get another win with Kyler Murray back. Carolina probably needs to win 3 more games this year before that pick falls from top 2.
So what Silvy is saying is Chicago will never have what he expects from a human let alone a qb. Silvy, are you perfect? That is what you are describing. This is why a franchise qb in Chicago will never happen. People like you….
