  1. you cant be a good passer without good teamates… also if your 6 9 and going against 6 3 6 4 pgs you gonna have an advantage lol also steph is an amazing passer and stats dont show the full picture alsooooo he is the whole reason the warriors are good and where ever good lol kd aint do nothing without steph cause he dont got him lol and steph effects a team more with his playstyle getting people open watch him play lol

  2. Magic is the best PG of all time, Steph is the greatest shooter. In game about defense and points, I'm always gonna choose a guy who can lead in scoring over a guy who can pass more.

  3. I agree Steph is a better point guard but Majic is a better all around player due to his versatility at playing many different positions. Steph is the greatest 3 point shooter of all time no doubt.

  4. Magic only played 13 seasons has more MVP's, more assists and more championships. Steph isn't even a true point guard. Get out of here.

  5. Love both. But one can handle size on both sides of the ball while the other can't. And that will matter in the post season. I'll take Magic all day because any best team analysis will always put a bigger/quicker guard on Curry.

  6. A lesser version of Steph right now is trae young. I said LESSER don’t trip

  7. The GOAT question, the "Best ever" question is never answerable, objectively (other than comparing MVP stats, career stats etc) it always becomes subjective and personally favorable. The better way to do it is to categorize the player based on their strengths. It's amazing that Magic was 6'9 as a point guard and do it the way he did. It's also insane that Steph shoots and scores the way he does, also at the position of point guard. The more these GOAT questions are asked, the more a player's position in basketball becomes faded in place of stats and the player's abilities versus the other guy

  8. 4:55 we've already seen another Magic. It's when Giannis, Jokic, or Lebron bring the ball up court. They do it all the time, they're big men, and they bring the ball up court because it's recognized that they are facilitaters.

  9. CURRY =The best 3-pointer Shooter. BEST POINT GUARD = MAGIC. Curry is just throwing ball anywhere anytime but not setting plays as PG.

  10. Stockton should be in the Convo as well, he’s the only player to be #1 in 2 career categories (assists and steals)

  11. I wonder if magic fans are going to lose their minds and spam my feeds with "Magic is the goat PG over Steph" posts like MJ fans did with Lebron because he called himself the greatest.

  12. Steph plays in a league that's soft. A league that has had too many amendments to the rules to soften it.
Magic played in a league that was brutal. Magic had to be mentally, psychologically, physically prepared to win while being aggressive and brutal. The NBA was more physical than it is today. Bring the physicality back to the NBA and I'm absolutely sure that Steph will have no place in the league.

  13. Nick is spot on here.. Magic is clearly the greatest PG of all time.. in the sense of a true PG.. a pass first player.. but that means he needs to have the ball a lot in his hand.. so if I was making an all time 5.. and I already have lebron and mj on it.. I would rather have Steph who doesn’t need the ball in his hand to impact the game… and his off the ball movement creates chances for his teammates.

  14. Ppl don’t realize this, but Steph is two injuries and 1 suspension away from having 6 rings like Jordan…per inch/pound Steph is the undisputed GOAT.

  15. Steph is coming from the scratched team and a late pick lottery who change the nba right now unlike magic who has the lakers team which is great teams.

  16. You MF use a completely different argument when talking about Lebron and Jordan, now that it's Steph and Magic, Steph has an argument? FOH!

Steph's perspective might seem quite optimistic. Jokes aside, he recently made another statement about how being part of the conversation is an achievement in itself. However, some might say he's being overly confident, especially when it comes to comparing his abilities to legends like Magic Johnson. It's a bit like saying that Curry could have effectively guarded Magic, either in Magic's prime or his own era. Magic's style of play is often likened to LeBron's, and while Curry is undoubtedly a fantastic player, Magic's extraordinary game management skills set him apart. In the eyes of many, including Steph and his fans, this debate might not even be worth having.

  17. according to a lot of people, magic can't be the best because he played against plumbers and fire fighters

  18. Curry is an undersized (shooting guard) period, & the greatest shooter ever but Magic Ervin Johnson is the Point God, check the stats but l saw Magic at 6’9 playing pg, the during the 80’s-mid 90’s it was “Showtime” & he saved the entire league hands down there is no one on his level, Curry is not on Magic’s level 🔥

  19. Steph is a great shooter, Magic is arguably the best player and ever 5 titles, 9 championship appearances in 11 years. People act like he was done when he retired. He was in the finals his last year. Yes they lost to Jordan but who says Lakers don't make trade and get player to win another title. Worst case he plays 3/4 more years and piles up more stats. The year he retired he averaged 19 , 7, 12. He sat out 4 years came back and average 15 and 7. In today NBA Magic would average 25 / 15/ 15. Isaiah said it before magic maybe center in today game, look at Joker

  20. Magic has the All NBA selections because it was a big man dominated game. Steph Curry is playing in the era of guards.

  21. nick great you are an idiot look all the great players that Magic Johnson played yes he made them look better but they also made him look better with the assist anytime you would drop it in how much assist she had with jabbar . Steph Curry tech support it's his greatest asset he makes the court so wide open for all his players if you compare player to player step team versus magic seed magic has way much talent more talent

  22. Stupid debate, Magic during his day played all FIVE positions. He won a championship as a ROOKIE playing center when Kareem got hurt. He was never shut down by an opposing PG, I've seen Curry shut down on many occasions! Nobody ran the fast break like Magic, he's a better rebounder, passer, etc than Curry. I like them both, but there's no comparison…plus Magic has 5 rings!!
