  1. I'm just waiting for the day when someone breaks the code and bring out that Titleist is making Kirkland equipment.

Keep up the great work man!

  2. Mid to high handicapper does not need to be fitted. They can't replicate their swing consistently enough, for the fitter to gather enough data, to assist the player. 🙄

  3. Variety is the spice of life. Tinker people. Pick up 15 different drivers inside the shop and hit them at your local store. Enjoy the journey to finding your personal boom stick. SAS is the best golf channel on the tube.

  4. PXG is not a "BIG" name brand at all. Thats like saying Tour Edge or WIlson is a "BIG" name brand. None of those 3 are featured in recent Pro tours of any gender, nor are they the go -to comparison Brands when new stuff is released. Kirkland fits in those same brand popularities where cheaper, less reliable gear isnt apart of the big 6 brands, not even close.

  5. Thanks for using both $ and £ in the video. For many of us Americans, we know what the pound is and roughly its value, but when you say something is 199 pounds we immediately picture something weighing 199 pounds not valued at 199 £. 😁😁

  6. This driver will be a hit. Why? Because Costco has so many shoppers and Kirkland has a lot of loyal customers. Plus they have the best return policy in the business. Look at the success of the golf balls and wedges.

  7. Whether it’s needed or not is irrelevant. This thing is gonna fly off the shelf and we know from Kirklands history it will be an above average club

  8. Not every golfer can afford big name gear.Costco is the perfect outlet for people that play golf occasionally (company golf days, etc)

  9. Totally agree. PXG is an excellent option especially when they do the deals on previous year's model. You still get the fitting, shaft options etc but at half price compared to the rest. It's a no brainer since you also get a half decent second hand value to boot.

  10. I am never going down the brand new route again🤣
To much fun to try "new" stuff so I buy second hand and sell it if I feel like something else.

  11. Kirkland buyers are probably more casual golfers than the typical SAS viewer. Costco buyers are uncomfortable buying used and would rather return the driver vs selling on eBay

I actually think the driver will sell better than the irons, bc it feels like a big cost savings, even though I totally agree that PXG is a way better deal if you know a bit about your swing and shafts

  12. The best reason to buy a Kirkland club is you can return it for a full refund if you do not like it. I did that with the putter…tried it and did not like it!!

  13. Zero risk buying a Kirkland driver, if it works for you great, if not return it for a 100% cash refund. Same goes for the irons. Try that at a golf store, you'll get a store credit. I don't see the Kirkland drivers on their site yet though, and not in the store either.

  14. Why would it be to far? Seems like a great thing in my opinion. People can have good clubs without spending thousands. Brings the game to more people.

  15. The deals on PXG drivers are just too good. The benefit with the Costco clubs is that they basically have a no questions asked lifetime warranty on their products, so if it breaks in 5 years you'll probably be able to return it for a brand new one.

  16. I’m always replacing my wedges and I’m only a 10 handicap. New wedges perform better for spin. I always get secondhand drivers because I refuse to pay full price, and I would rather spend $200 on a premium used driver vs a new one that says Kirkland on it

  17. So my comments basically mirror yours; in my opinion (and I’m sure others will disagree) the two most over-hyped & over-priced items in golf are Vokey wedges and Scotty Cameron putters (most mid-handicappers aren’t going to see any improvement by buying either one, but it’s your money so spend it however you want).

My other comment is in regards to affordable drivers; here in the U.S. McGregor is back in business and selling drivers for $199 – would love to see a review if you can get them in the U.K.

Finally, thanks for the channel- I’m sure it’s not easy and you probably get a lot of hate thrown your way.

  18. 90% of average should be playing 10.5 loft
$199 driver is what industry need a break from $500usd driver

  19. What's cool about second hand golf clubs is I'm paying massive bargain prices for well developed and built name brand clubs, it may take some work to find what I really want but I enjoy that. Ping I have to be real careful with considering the different lie angles, shaft lengths and even customized lofts. I guess nowadays with so much "fitting" going on there's no telling what I really have in hands, tweaked lofts, lies, soft or hard stepped shafts…but that's the risk. Kirkland, hey if it works great!

  20. You buy from Costco as you can return it a year later and get your money back. Name another golf store that allows that?

  21. You are right. If you buy a second hand driver which is worth £200 it’s still a second hand driver when you sell it (no such concept as ‘number of previous owners’ like there is with a car) so as long as you move it on quickly, it should still be worth about £200. But a driver worth £200 NEW, becomes a second hand driver if you need to sell it. Now it’s worth way less. Therefore much les risk in buying the second hand club.

  22. The balls maybe but i dodnt like them…the wedges perhaps not for me…the irons nope the driver nope …
